I have tried now for several weeks to delete messages on my Facebook app. When I return to the mailbox on facebook, the emails keep coming back. What is the issue that will not allow them to be permenantly deleted and it continues to reload the messages
View 1 RepliesA hard reset (remove the battery while the BB is on) seems to have worked. I say seemed since it has been reported on this board that it may return when the "service books" are updated...I'm new to BBs. I just purchased it today and against my better judgment installed FAcebook (FB). After getting a deluge of mindless drivel pushed to my new BB I decided FB was not coming near my BB again.So I found the icon - menu - delete. I restart the BB as instructed and to my surprise the icon is still there.I tried to move the icon into a folder but I don't know how to move it because the menu button does nothing when I select the icon and press menu.
And there are some FB messages too. I deleted the FB messages - when I check my messages it reports I have no messages in FB ... BUT there is a little FB icon at the top of the screen showing one message. This one message seems to be relic but I have no idea how to reset or delete it.I also tried the BB desktop software. It shows that it is uninstalled. There appears to be no way of deleting icon, moving the icon, or deleting the FB message indicator either.
My phone has stopped receiving emails and Facebook updates from the Facebook app!! How do I fix this? Receving emails is a big part of the Blackberry's function.

The Tour that i have now does not have that option. Does anyone know if it exists due to an OS upgrade, or anyway else i can get sms to display in bubbles?

I've noticed that emails stick around for a month or so before being deleted, but SMS don't delete. It's been set to 15 days since I got it in September, and I still have every SMS sent/received on it
Is this a known bug? Is there a fix for it other than hope it's fixed in the next OS release?
I have noticed this multiple times now that random contacts are missing from my address book. Today I got a call from my mother and her contact info was gone as well! I haven't installed any new apps and I haven't gone through and wiped out any of my other old contacts.
I am running .591 and I know that's an oops. Good thing for Verizon's backup assistant! I was able to get the numbers back online.
I've read a couple tips on how to delet call logs and while they have worked, I'm still not able to delete the call history that you find when you press the green call key.I've gone into messages, gone into view folder, and selected phone call logs.fter I've pressed delete prior and my call history is gone. However, I still can't figure out how to delet the history I find by pressing that green button

I am a very heavy email user and at .02 cents a kb, I would need a mortgage to pay for all that email.Will deleting the service books for these accounts stop the email from coming in until I can download all email to my laptop; and then download service books?I am a longtime bb user, but the new BIS interfaces do not have a way to turn specific email accounts on and off like they used to.

On my old Blackberry curve, I could see all my bbm message history and I had a 1GB media card. Now I have a 2 GB media card, and when I ask for the history to be saved on the media card, it wipes all the history., If I set it to save on the device memory, then it saves the message for 2 days, then deletes it. Please could you tell me what to do in order to resolve this issue? I have tried battery pulls, deleting applications that I do not use, deleting all emails, deleting all sms. My current device memory is 95% free. I cannot work out what is goin gon and am desperate to be able to save my message history.

And it says...Go to setting and manage storage with iCloud. I have deleted most of the app, photo, and just about everything else, and still keep getting this message. It's almost as if I will be paying additional 3.99-19.99 a month to manage the icloud for apps that I already had. Perhaps this is the gimmicks to order the 64GB iPhone 6. Plus can't even upgrade software update to iOS8.1.1 because there is not enough storage. What sense does that make to even upgrade to the new iPhone 6

I'm trying to delete a large message thread on my iPhone 5s. It's been there for a few years without being cleaned. Every time I try to delete it, my phone gets really hot and my messages app doesn't work. When I restart my phone, the message thread I tried to delete is still there and the messages app works again.

After the upgrade, I clicked my Facebook App and enter my email and password, and after clicking "login" I receive the message "We are unable to connect to the Facebook server at this time (0)".
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the App, and taken out an replaced the battery but it still won't work.
