View 1 RepliesMy new iPhone (5s) was set as a new phone due to a fear that my back up may be corrupt.( Tech advice) it’s been 3 weeks since then and it was confirmed that my previous phone was a defect. Now I want to restore my back up without losing any current data.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI had not backed up my phone in several years and was unfamiliar with the process. I opened Itunes and connected my iphone. I hit restore phone instead of backup. Not smart. Now, I have all the data on my phone from my last back up from 2011. How can I recover the original data that I was trying to backup?

Verizonwireless sent me a link to Blackberry program to backup my data from Tour 9630. I failed to realize that it is only for contacts. I connected it to my MacBook Pro. In the process all my "Notes" and "tasks" got deleted and new OS2 got installed in my BB. I tried "Restore" button. I only retrieved "Contacts" and "Schedule". how to recover the "Notes" and "tasks?"
View 3 Replies View RelatedI just upgraded to 5.0.0.419 on the Tour. I had to use the AppLoader because the desktop manager wouldnt work. I have done this many times with my storm and everything seemed to go well. I turned on my phone and it started like usual but all my information is gone. My contacts, messages, applications, everything. It did not back up any of the stuff before upgrading, but when i went to put an old back up on my device it asked if I wanted to override all the stuff that's already on it (1100 text messages, 100 contacts, 500 emails, etc.)So it seems like the stuff is on my phone, but i cannot find it.
View 7 Replies View RelatedAfter a few days my iphone 4s calendar deletes all my current, past and future events . I am not syncing with my computer or doing anything except entering information directly on the calendar using my phone. Now I have lost all doctor appointments, work schedule etc. Does anyone know why this is happening or how I can prevent it? I can't find the answer doing a google search.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI reflashed all the factory images to my Nexus 6P (except userdata), and then restored a TWRP backup of the data partition. This worked, my phone boots up and obviously has my installed apps, etc. But... on the Nexus 6P when you restart the phone you have to enter your lock pattern or PIN. My phone was previously configured with a pattern. It seems the TWRP data backup didn't backup the lock pattern, because it doesn't recognize my pattern.
My fingerprint is recognized, but on the Nexus 6P you still have to enter the lock pattern or PIN when you first reboot. So, I have no way to get into the phone. I tried setting a new lock screen password with Android Device Manager, but it doesn't work. I still get the screen asking for the lock pattern. Is there any way I can get into my phone without blowing away all the data?
I was just wondering if I went ahead and bought a blackberry curve 8900 off ebay is there anyway i could just put my current sim card in the bb and use my current plan. I dont want the data charges. By the way I have at&t. What about buying an unlocked 8900? would that help? I want the blackberry without the data plan, and i dont want at&t to just charge me for data.

I had to restore since my phone was going wack and now the back up is saying it wont work and it will not let me sync. Is there any way I can get my backup files, I can not afford to lose them. Do they save somewhere on the computer? I am just so mad that I lost all my photos and memos and all that good stuff.

View 9 Replies View RelatedMy tour likes to just stop working every once in a while. Case in point: on long drives through the country, i'll be listening to pandora for 4 hours straight then all of a sudden it will stop loading. then i'll notice that teh web browser wont load websites, ubertwitter wont load, facebook wont load, etc etc. The only thing that makes everything work again is to do a battery pull but of course this gets old.Anyone know what the problem is here or anything? I feel like maybe i'm using "too much data at one time" but in all honestly I dont think that's right.

An individual gave me their phone number, so I dialed it and waited until I saw it go through on their phone and hung up. The next day I accidentally deleted the phone number. When I went to my cell provider's website to check my call history and get the number it didn't show up. I've tried doing a number restores from the phone's memory but nothing is showing up. I didn't know if there was a way to recover this number at all or if all is lost. I know the exact time and date of when the call was made and am desperate to be able to recover this number. I would really love to recover this number! I'm working with an iPhone 5s.

I previously owned an 8830 World Edition and recently bought the 9630 Tour. I had the the guy at Sprint transfer everything from the 8830 to the 9630. I gave my wife the 8830 and she had her old phone transferred to the 8830. I realized the I did not have my passwords in my password keeper on the new 9630 so I connected the 9630 to the laptop with the old desktop manager. I recovered my passwords but now I have my wife's contacts in my phone and I can't recover my contacts. If anyone could provide a solution.
