Everytime i click for notifications, an error message appears. "Cannot retrieve the notifications. Please try again later [601/Parser error:unexpected '-' at position 64.]"

View 1 Replies View Relatedi have a problem with my arc handset. me and my girlfriend both have the arc with andriod 2.3.3. the problem is if someone writes on my partners wall on facebook she recieves a notification on the notification bar on the top of the phone, however mine does not. ive reinstalled facebook app on the phone and even reinstalled the whole phone from scratch. ive gone through all settings to make sure there all the same and im at my wites end.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI just recently noticed that the notification LED would no longer work or blink if there is an incoming message or missed call IF THE SCREEN IS OFF. I am confused since the it will work if the screen is on (which is the opposite before the update).Before I got the update, the notification LED works as it should. This is clearly a bug, and needs to be fixed. It isn't something that can disable the total functionality of Xperia Ray users?

X10 MINI The Facebook app. Version 1.6.4 doesnt work properly any moore.
Mostly the small pictures Avatars beside comments and such, doesnt show anymore. The small pictures are just blank often and they dont appear even if page is reloaded. Sometimes a few are loaded but many are missing, and often none of them loads. Not even my own. Doesnt matter if I use WiFi or mobile conecction
It used to work before but not since last one or two facbook app updates. Tried to delete the cahce files of the app but didnt help. If I uninstall updates will it not set it back to the very first version of the app? Thats not so good.
i really love new 4.0 update.. It's clen. But there is a problem ..Does anyone know how to put the led notification in work when we receive a message ? I think that's something important because we have allways to unlock the phone to see if we get something.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently brought out a contract with o2 for a htc one, got home set up all my notification sounds, I was getting sound for my facebook posts, but the next day I turned my phone on and they were coming through but no sound, if I get a notification on there my phone just vibrates but for other stuff i get the sound, if I get a message on fb I get a sound too, not sure why it has done this and I am not sure how to change it ....

Anyway, I know that when you get a new notification, a little icon appears at the top of your screen with the blue 'F' logo and a red star on, to show that it's unread. Anyway, I checked all my notifications then deleted them, but I still have a '1 F' icon at the top (without a red star) - even after deleting all my notifications again.
I don't like any vibration on my phone. I don't know where to turn off the vibrate for Facebook notification, Tv controls, double tap home screen. I already turned the vibration for call feedback, keyboard and everything I can find in settings.

I have tried deleting the facebook application and reinstalling it, but the 5F symbol is still there!!
It will go up in number and have a star next to it when there are new notifications for me to view, but it's really annoying me that it's there all the time and its wrong!
My notification bar is not showing facebook birthdays and also in the calendar there's no option for facebook calendar. although its checked on the facebook application...

I'm having a problem since yesterday that the FB notification has not come out and this never happen to me before. What make me really disappointed is when I press "Notification" in menu, its come out what I'm posting, not the posting that made from my friend. I have an HTC M8 on Verizon. I have noticed that recently I've been getting notifications for Facebook that popup/show up at the top of the screen below the notification bar (a la Apple's iOS). It pisses me off, as it'll happen when I'm in games (covering up 1/4 of the screen) and it'll even show up when I'm in Facebook!

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a facebook notification that shows up as seen, but not opened. So it does not have the red asterisk, but will not leave home screen. I cannot get it to go away.
Things I have tried:
-Soft reset
-Hard reset (pulling battery)
-Uninstalling Facebook via app world - made it go away
-Reinstalling Facebook via app world - made it come back
-As far as I can tell, it does not show up in either Messages or Facebook app
-Went to facebook website from laptop and open/cleared all notifications
-Went to mobile facebook website from phone and clicked on link that said "clear all notifications"
-Going into Messages, selecting today's date, then menu button, and "Mark Prior Opened"
-Going into Facebook app, notifications tab, selecting today's date, then menu button, and "Mark Prior Opened"
At this point I would be happy with understanding where the notifications that appear on your homescreen are stored and if I could maybe delete a cache file or something from windows when I have it plugged into my computer.
its been about 5 weeks.. my facebook notification on my facebook application are not receiving.i've tried deleting the facebook application and then re-installing it... and NOTHING WORKS!

Under Application Manager, Facebook...the Show Notification box is unchecked.
I've also tried Settings, Sounds and notifications, Facebook and turned On the Block all notifications. Still getting the bubble!
My Facebook icon in the 'notification view' bar across the homepage has vanished. I must've changed a setting somewhere, but not in Facebook for BB or Facebook online. I've opened facebook in Setup, and things seem okay there.
