View 1 RepliesI've been having some problems lately with the volume output through the headphone jack when I and using the media player. I found that it is sometimes very quiet, and the only fix I have found so far is making a call (I usually just call my voicemail and hang up right away, after the call is done the music volume picks up), however this does not work all of the time.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy phone received the Jelly Bean update which is awesome and it runs very smoothly. The only issue I am having is when listening to music in Pandora or Songza and i get a notification, the volume is approximately half until the song changes or i exit the app and restart the app. Also, if the phone is on silent or vibrate this does not happen.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI can not hear people when they call me. To my knowledge they can hear me. I can hear sound out of the speakers, I am not super sure about the earpiece.
View 3 Replies View Relatedive had this phone for a couple weeks, its not as great as my droid 1 but i cant complain its a kool phone, my problem is the volume for music, i thought it was my headphones so i went out n bought some sony $79.99 headphones n they sounds amazing, but the volume is low!
ive tried all the volume boost programs but none work, my music player "player pro" has a EQ that i can raise the DB it helps but i know it can go higher, because i tried to download a program called "Volume boost" installed it does nothing but for some reason i changed it downloaded as ZIP format and when i extracted it from "androidzip" as soon as it was done the volume BLASTED my headphones it was amazing, but when im done listening to music and listen hours later or somthing its back down, so i have to keep extracting the zip, somtimes it works and somtimes it doesnt but i do DEFINATLY know that the volume can infact go up higher, program that works when wanted?
secret hidden volume setting tthru dial pad?? *#*344656444*#* something?
My bluetooth devices work fine with my previous phone (Sanyo SCP-3810). Main device is LG HFB-500 speakerphone. But the volume is much too low with my Motorola Triumph. Can barely hear anything at max volume. Seems to be a common problem for Android devices. How about a fix Moto?
View 15 Replies View RelatedI've just got my z3 and updated it to the recent update. Now before this update I was having a play around as you do and I got to admit I really like the phone and is functions. So I went ahead and updated the software. After doing this I noticed that some of the functions that I really liked, for example the mute function has disappeared. No problem I found out you can just use the volume key to do this. However I have been reading about the whole volume setting operates both message and media.
So my question is, can these be separated as in you set the volume for messages without affecting your media volume or do I have to keep adjusting the volume each time I'm finished watching or listening to a media file in order for me to hear my message notifications?
Wondering if this is because of defective mic? Is there an SW update for this?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI want to stop the phone from making a noise every time I get an email. But I don't want to silence it completely (I still want it to ring when I get a call).
View 2 Replies View RelatedOn my previous Triumph, I could silence an incoming notification (phone call/SMS message, etc) whenever I tapped the Power Key (the silver button on the left side of the handset). That doesn't work on the replacement.
View 2 Replies View RelatedThis is my second Triumph, while 1/2 of my issues were resolved because I got a replacement, the following are issues that are happening with both phones and I'm not sure if these issues will be fixed, or if there is something I can do on my end.
Phone volume - No matter what, the volume is low.... the other phone was way lower, on this one I can hear people, but its like my volume at 50% on my intercept. When the phone is being used as a phone, it sounds like the speaker is blown, on top of it being low. Speakerphone sounds ok, but still volume is low.
Bluetooth - I have tried this with 3 headsets, so its not the headset. When I connect, it will disconnect on its own sometimes reconnecting, but most of the time it doesn't. It will show the icon that it has a connection, but it doesn't (even if I turn the headset off, it still shows the icon is connected). And of course, volume, if its down to 50%, I can't hear anything.
Phone Dialer - If I try to use this to dial the phone, it sticks. So I have to press a 5, then wait for 10 seconds, then press a 2, then wait for 10 seconds, etc. Using speed dial.
WiFi - I have a strong wi-fi connection. It's a cable modem. But when I select my wi-fi, it says its connected, but I get connection errors when I try to get e-mail, go on you tube, etc. I have to restart my phone and then connect to get it to work.
I don't have much installed on the phone, and I have 893 mb remaining. I don't like my battery life getting killed, so I turn off my 3g and everything when I'm not using it and don't have apps running in the background. Battery life is lasting around 36 hours on a charge.
my notification light wont stop blinking green. I have no new notifications and I have gone through all of the programs that i get notifications from and turned them off and it still keeps blinking when the screen is off

View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there anyone out there that can help with this? I have only had my phone for about 40 days (10 days past Radio Shack's return policy, unfortunately), and beginning 3 or 4 days ago my phone stopped consistently charging. I would put it on the charger and it would look like it is working for a few minutes, then simply stop charging. I have tried 3 different chargers with the same results-- one with a USB connection to my computer, one in my car, and one plugged into a wall.I already exchanged this Triumph once because of serious software glitches including a keyboard that wouldn't always type. I am starting to feel like perhaps this isn't the phone for me, but it feels terrible to feel like I have been cheated $300 for a phone that doesn't want to work.
View 7 Replies View RelatedBesides us waiting for some sign of a software update to address the issues with our Motoroloa Triumph, does anyone else find it curious how difficult it is to find the accessories for the Triumph? I mean, it's impossible to find something by going to the Motorola Store for the phone. However, if you circumnavigate the site and search on all Android Phones, and find the one phone for Virgin Mobile (by carrier), then find the teeny tiny link for Accessories, one does determine there is a BT headset and also a car charger. But wait, the car charger isn't even available yet.
It's not good commentary that there isn't Motorola badged batteries and car chargers and earbuds, Micro HDMI to HDMI cables, USB charging cables available for the product from Motorola, when clearly, this stuff is available on eBay. And I've recently purchased a very good OEM Motorola Charger and USB charging cables... so the question becomes, where is Motorola's support for the phone? I propose someone feedback to Motorola that besides waiting for needed SW updates, we could use a little product support in the way of accessories.
Can i use my triumph as a tether?
View 6 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone else have trouble with the volume down rocker when listening to or watching media? The volume up always works, but sometimes the volume down doesn't.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have the OEM Motorola Car Dock connected with the combined USB audio/power cable. Whenever I dock my Droid 4, the media volume changes to a default setting (somewhere around 90% of max if I had to guess) and cannot be changed with the volume buttons.
This is a huge problem for me as it causes distortion from my car speakers; I need the media volume to be less than ~70% to prevent this.
If I connect the phone via the 3.5mm jack instead of USB, the media volume can be adjusted normally and I can avoid the distortion...but that requires two cables instead of one and I'd have to connect/disconnect the 3.5mm cable every time I am in my car.
tl;dr Is there any way to change the media volume setting when using the USB port for audio output?
For some reason I occassionally cannot get the volume to increase in media, such as Netflix. My solution has been to close the app and reopen.
View 9 Replies View RelatedRecently, when I unplug my headphones, the media volume level indicator briefly comes up and shows that the media volume has been set to zero. I can't imagine why this is happening.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI've noticed this happen several times before, but if I'm connecting/disconnecting to headphone jack or bluetooth, all media volumes will go silent (resuming a podcast, music, etc), and turning up/down the volume has no affect. The only fix I've found is to pause everything, go to the homescreen, turn the phone volume (which appears automatically) down, then go back into the app and press play. However, sometimes I can't turn the phone volume down on the homescreen because only the media volume appears, even after I close the media apps (even from the recent menu from holding the Home button). Even going into Menu > System Settings > Sound > Volumes and adjusting everything there made no difference. I had to make a phone call, hang up, then go back to the homescreen, turn the phone volume all the way to mute/vibrate, then turn it back up and go back into my media app and the media sound would be restored. It's really frustrating and considering how often I use media apps and how often this happens, I'm considering ditching the Razr Maxx and getting a non-Motorola phone.
View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen I have the headphones (standard, no controls) plugged in and media playing, the ringer will only ring at the level the media is set at. You can move the slider back and forth but it will stop increasing the volume for the ringer when it gets to the media slider setting. If I increase media slider, the volume for ringer will increase. It will go lower when reduced below media setting. The volume for the media setting seems to be a cap for all volume while headphones are inserted. It must be a bug in GB because Verizon was able to reproduce it. I need the phone to ring loud when under these specific conditions as I get called to go to work, it HAS to be able to wake me up. Ive performed a full factory reset and asked if I can go back to Froyo without a root and, no dice.
View 1 Replies View RelatedIt appears that the only volume action that exists in Smart Actions is the one for the Phone Ringer. Does anyone know of a way to set notification, call or media volumes? If not, I wonder why they left those actions out, especially notification and call volume settings. Those would seem to go hand in hand with ringer volume to me.
View 9 Replies View RelatedFor some reason, I don't receive a notification when my phone receives an image text. The only way that I know there is an image text is if I happen to open my text screen to send a text. Then I have to automatically download the image, and then it notifies me that there is a text. I've tried changing all kinds of notifications.
View 5 Replies View RelatedThe volume adjuster on the side of the sensation will not adjust the volumeInstead it has decided to start adjusting the media volume instead. No media applications are running. This does it on the home screen, browsing on line, in the market etc etc.lso, battery life? I can honestly (no exaggeration) sit there and watch the battery count down 59...58... Dud battery? Cant seem to make mine last a whole day without it dieing. I'm using task killers etc to make sure no apps are running that i dont want running whilst it's in my pocket etc
View 2 Replies View Relatedsee Smart Actions include the ability to control MEDIA volume in addition to the existing ringtone volume. The best examples of when this might come in handy:In the car, being able to turn media volume up to loud so you can stream music through your stereo and control it entirely through the car stereo. I find mysef always having to find my phone and turn media up on the phone first, so I don't accidentally blow a speaker when I get in the car without the phone connected. At work being able to turn the media volume to mute. This way I can sneak a round of Scramble or Words with Friends in without my cube neighbors hearing the tell tale sounds of the games.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently had to remove my MicroSD card from my phone and started running it just using internal storage. I cleared out a lot of apps and media to compensate for the lack of SD storage but since then I keep getting a "Low on Volume Storage" message.I have 2.92GB available space for application storage and 0.90GB in the internal storage - so there is a decent amount still available to the system and yet I keep getting a "low on volume storage" notification. It is infuriating because I already know what the storage situation is, but every time I dismiss the notification it reappears in a few minutes. Does any know if it is possible to just stop this notification from appearing without having to delete more things from my device?
View 7 Replies View RelatedThis is the only phone that i've had that does not allow the option to link the notification and ringtone volume together. it's really inconvenient to use the volume rocker to adjust the volume of the ringtone, only to have to go deep in to settings to adjust the notitication volume as well.At least on my nexus 7, there's a mini setting when you hit the volume rocker that allows you to adjust the playback and notification volumes from your current screen. i hope that gets added to the JB build of this phone, if we cant link.
