I upgraded my software on the BB Torch 9800 and now these applications are missing Blackberry Maps,Paswordkeeper,Word,Exceland powerpoint.I cannot find these applications on the App world to reinstall them

I was using App World, Facebook, and Twitter normally without any problem, I got notifications for upgrading these applications, then all icons has been disappeared, while at application management they are installed. I follow all similar issues, uninstalled then cleared the cash, reinstall, downgrading the versions for appworld. Finally I wiped the phone and downloading the App world, I faced the same issue. the phone became useless, by the way I'm using these services through WiFi. It is worth mentioning that all other applications are working fine, such us, Whatsapp, browser, etc.
I was having an issue with my BB Torch wherein the device won't boot up.Upon the advice of the support folks, I was able to start it in Safe mode. However, the App World was missing - and hence I could not update any app, or install a new one.I took a backup, and upgraded the device software, and then restored all the data.Now, the App World is there, but the Password Keeper is missing.

Both were working before the reset and I did a full Nokia Suite backup and restore after the reset. In an attempt to restore the two missing functions I've re-installed the software and searched the store, all to no avail.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a BB 9530 Storm and have noticed that after upgrading to the V5.0.0.328 device software, I can't always view SMS text messages. The phone says I have messages, but I can't always view them.
This is an intermittent insect infestation. Sometime I can view the message and sometimes I can't. In order to view the SMS messages, I have to reboot the phone (take out the battery).
After I did my os5.1 upgrade, podcasts didn't transfer. They are in my Itunes account on PC but not on IPhone.

I have done some reading and see that I need to downgrade to the previous bundle, but I do not have the options on my Bold 9900 as described by most of these support forums. Click Device > Software Updates.If you recently updated your BlackBerry Device Software, to return to the previous software version, press the key > View Result > Downgrade.To downgrade to an earlier software version, scroll to a software version that the icon appears beside. I tried reinstalling it and can't find it either. I used desktop manager and was able to install an older version of blackberry messenger. And that one works perfectly. But whenever I try to upgrade the blackberry messenger to version 5 the icon disappears, yet it appears on the application list. I've tried upgrading from appworld, from the computer and from the upgrade icon that's on my home screen.

Going through both phones, I realized that I was Missing 11 files in the installations folder. But the main problem is I've been missing some of Nokia Apps including Maps, Ovi store, quick office and also the pre-downloaded games that came with Symbian belle. I believe those are Need for Speed, Golf and I forgot the other one. How can I have those apps back? I've been doing factory reset every now and then but still programs are missing. And also those missing programs have widgets on my homescreen and an error which is "Error occurred. Widgets removed" will pop up on my screen.
