When I upgraded my desktop software it found a software upgrade for my phone, when that was done my BBM is missing from my phone. I restored a backup file to the phone but BBM is still gone. How can I get this back?

I was able to sync fine before I formatted my hard drive. Now, when I try to configure my sync settings, the, "Folder is missing..." error pops up when I click Finish (the last step). This happens for every setting I try, calendar, address book, memos, tasks.It seems that this is quite the problem, many threads with this question, but no clear answers. Can anyone walk me/us through a solution for this problem?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a Canadian Rogers Torch 9180, software 7.0.0.254, platfirn 5.0.0.451, available KB 167173.The phone is activated on our cloud Blackberry Administration Service with Exchange 365 and for some reason the CICAL service book is missing on the device so any calendar invites are blank. I have followed BB article KB10594 and on the BAS tried resending the service books. On the device properties it does say that the last transaction was delievered and nothing I can see has failed. Obviously since the CICAL book is missing I am unable to delete and undelete it as per the KB article.
We only have one default IT policy and others are on it without any issues. And yes I have double checked that nothing is disabled in the PIM sync in the policy. We do not have any Groups setup, everyone is under the default group.Not using any other calendar apps on the phone. In the BAS it does say that the Wireless calendar is Disabled but there's no way I can see in the BAS to enable the calendar.
I am trying to sync my BB with my desktop software. I was advised the only way i could get music on my BB was to take the memory card out the phone use an adapter to put music on then put the memory card back in BB.
Surely when i connect my BB to my laptop with the desktop software on it, i should be able to see the music and pictures that are on my phone, or should i not??
I have gone into the options menu on the screen and had a look at my memory, and it is telling me "Media Card cannot be read. Verify that the memory card is properly inserted, formatted and not corrupted".
I have also made sure that Mass Storage support is on, along with Media Card Support, but i still cant see anything.
My phone went missing and I decided to get something different. Is there any way to get the phone numbers and anything else that is in my last sync without having my phone?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a BB 9530 Storm and have noticed that after upgrading to the V5.0.0.328 device software, I can't always view SMS text messages. The phone says I have messages, but I can't always view them.
This is an intermittent insect infestation. Sometime I can view the message and sometimes I can't. In order to view the SMS messages, I have to reboot the phone (take out the battery).
After I did my os5.1 upgrade, podcasts didn't transfer. They are in my Itunes account on PC but not on IPhone.

I have done some reading and see that I need to downgrade to the previous bundle, but I do not have the options on my Bold 9900 as described by most of these support forums. I tried reinstalling it and can't find it either. I used desktop manager and was able to install an older version of blackberry messenger. And that one works perfectly. But whenever I try to upgrade the blackberry messenger to version 5 the icon disappears, yet it appears on the application list. I've tried upgrading from appworld, from the computer and from the upgrade icon that's on my home screen.

But the main problem is I've been missing some of Nokia Apps including Maps, Ovi store, quick office and also the pre-downloaded games that came with Symbian belle. I believe those are Need for Speed, Golf and I forgot the other one. How can I have those apps back? I've been doing factory reset every now and then but still programs are missing. And also those missing programs have widgets on my homescreen and an error which is "Error occurred. Widgets removed" will pop up on my screen.
