I upgraded my curve 9380 from os 7 to os 7.1 (I downloaded this from BB india site). But after the upgrade, i see the passwor Keeper app missing. I have some of my important passwords stored it. Can somebody reply if there a way to get the password keeper app back in my device (I tried unistalling and reinstalling the OS 7.1 and also a battery pull.)

However, the App World was missing - and hence I could not update any app, or install a new one.I took a backup, and upgraded the device software, and then restored all the data.Now, the App World is there, but the Password Keeper is missing.

I finally got around to doing it last night, left it overnight and then when I woke up late this morning it kept going to the reboot screen, once the bar at the bottom has reached 2/3 complete it then displays a message: "abnormal reset detected during upgrade. Press any key to return to pre-upgrade configuration" then I'll press a key and it will return to the reboot screen get to 2/3 of the way through and the message reappears. What should I do to make it work?

I've tried every password I can think of and it won't allow me to uncheck the 'Encrypt iPhone Backup' checkbox to turn off the encryption.Is there anyway to get rid of this? I don't care about loosing the backups.This setting must be saved on the iPhone, since it keeps the setting if I goto a new PC (my usual system is a Mac) and plug the phone in. Is the data actually encrypted on the iPhone when you use this setting? So, I could probably do it by reformating my iPhone and setting it up as a brand new device, but is there anyway to avoid that?

However I am still seeing edge on the top right screen. Even if I perform a manual search for available networks I am only finding 2g. But when I put my sim in a bb torch os6 and do the search I will get both 2g and 3g.Because of this I cannot use the mobile hotspot option as well.I have tried almost everything my carrier has told me to do.

When i install sim card into the phone, i have incoming message: Your device are registered. 3G and BB logo are signed on display. BIS service has alredy running in to the my account. But the applications, brouser and email do not work. I called to my cell operator and tell him for my issue. They asked me to come to their offices and to test my phone. Later, they were told that this phone is not visible on the server RIM.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am getting a error on my Curve stating "could not open the camera, close other aplications and try opening the camera again" it was still working a couple of days ago. I only noticed a problem after upgrading Wikitude to the latest. Now my camera will not work at all. I reloaded the OS and deleted Wikitude and I am not sure wether it is Wikitude. I do know that some have hade problems loading the ap and it came up with the same type of error. I did not drop my phone and the camera was working till that upgrade.
