BB Torch :: End A Call From The Touch Screen?
Jan 10, 2012Is there a way to end a call from the touch screen, or is the only way to use the hard key on the bottom right of the phone?

Jan 26, 2011I recently updated my Torch 9800 to 6.0 etc. However, now I when I try to place a call by touching on a recent call on the screen, nothing happens. I have already done a soft reset, a hard reset, a factory reset, reinstalled, worked with AT&T, and have not been able to get this function back.

May 22, 2011The only thing I dislike about my Torch is that every time I'm on a call I accidently put people on mute, hold or sometimes even call someone else. This happens when my ear or face touches the phone. This is hard to prevent so is there a way to lock the screen when on a call.

May 14, 2010My N97 touchscreen sometimes freezes when I get a call. I try to unlock the phone by using the keyguard key [coz the screen is frozen] but nothing happens. I also try the call buttons and they also don't respond.And could Nokia, please, change the setting on the display light after a call in the next update. The screen goes dark after the call that you cannot see the call duration at the end of the call. Its highly annoying!!! [At least to me since I have to monitor my calls since I roam alot]I do have the latest version of the Nokia Software installed on the N97 and everything else is working fine.

Feb 19, 2010Just upgraded to V40 on my 5800. Now when the phone rings I get 2 options on the touch screen:
1. Answer
2. Unlock
Neither work. I know I can use the buttons, but why have the other options on the screen if they don't work. What about the other options like silence or reject, or send message. All gone.
The new version is **bleep**.Also, when I set an alarm, I can't silence it, or stop it using the touch screen.This all seems to happen when the phone is locked, but if the phone is unlocked, I get the older options.I don't know how I'm expected to unlock my phone just before someone rings me to enable me to have all the existing options, or wake up before my alarm in order to unlock the phone, so I can snooze or stop it.

May 16, 2012My touch screen stopped working only when the Torch is slid open. The track pad still works and can use the menu to navigate but what a pain. This started three days ago. Phone is 17 months old. Is this a setting?

Apr 27, 2012was working perfectly fine until i downloaded an app that you can now get for free from RIM until some date in may. anyways, i wiped my phone and it was working fine for a few days, then it stopped working out of no where. then for some reason when i upgraded bbm and had to reset my phone, the touch worked perfectly but then randomly stopped working again.
