View 1 RepliesThe only thing I dislike about my Torch is that every time I'm on a call I accidently put people on mute, hold or sometimes even call someone else. This happens when my ear or face touches the phone. This is hard to prevent so is there a way to lock the screen when on a call.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently upgrade phone, from 9780 to 9790.Behalf the battery duration that's really poor, I've big problem with touchscreen! In my search in this forum and others related with BB, I couldn't find anything that helps me with the annoying touchscreen.I simply want to disable my touchscreen! I don't want that functionality on my phone. And RIM doesn't have any other equipment similar to that without touchscreen.I know that exist some applications that permit to lock the screen during a call, but what I really want it's to disable the touchscreen. Is there an official or officious way to do that?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have an HTC One M8 and I cannot seem to figure out a way to "lock" the screen so that the touchscreen buttons are disabled during video playback. My previous phone was a Samsung and you just had to press the power button to ensure that any accidental screen touches wouldn't interfere with the video.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have just upgraded my phone to the 9900 bold, I wish I could disable the touch screen or have an auto locking facility? I cant find it. Also the battery life is only about 50% of my 9600 - not what I expected given that Blackberry are reknown for the battery life
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have been playing with this phone for a week or so and there are a couple of things that bug me. First of all is the annoying vibration every time you touch the screen or any side buttons. Can the vibration be disabled? Secondly, I hate the default touch screen functions like music, video and pictures. I use none of these.I want to have a button that shows the recent call list from the outer screen.I can do this when I have missed a call, but how can I change or add this function to the outer screen so I can see my missed calls whenever I want not just when I have a recent missed call.I use the phone with a headset most of the time which is why I would like to do this without opening the flip.

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy torch 9800's screen wanders to the right on it's own all the time. If I'm sending a bbm it keeps kicking me over to the emoticons, for example. I can actually watch it scroll through my home screen on its own. How do I fix this? Operating system 6
View 2 Replies View Relatedwas working perfectly fine until i downloaded an app that you can now get for free from RIM until some date in may. anyways, i wiped my phone and it was working fine for a few days, then it stopped working out of no where. then for some reason when i upgraded bbm and had to reset my phone, the touch worked perfectly but then randomly stopped working again. It basically does not work at all, except for sometimes when my phone is plugged in. idk how to fix this, would re-installing the software get it to work again or should i just take my phone in?

View 1 Replies View RelatedAnother frustration I'm having with my first smartphone, torch 9860 bought 1 week ago ....hen I'm talking on the phone, several undesirable things might occur, like I hang-up, or put on speaker phone, or put on hold, or unless the fingers are placed "just so" and my earring doesn't happen to bump the touch screen I can't seem to just have a conversation. Is it really necessary to hold this BB like a small pizza, that is, flat and carefully around the edges, and speak down into it with my chin on my chest?
