I've activated the smartphone password to lock my bb, when i try do unlock the mobile by the touch screen keyboard i always get an incorrect password error! If i use the keyboard all works ok!I've tried to update the software (i have the latest version), tried to reboot the mobile, to restore the OS..

View 7 Replies View RelatedOn my Blackberry Toch 9800, it seems to freeze up on several occassions, most recently when downloading an application from "App World."After downloading an application from App World, when you run the application for the first time, it will ask you if you want to "share personal information." Whether it is checked or unchecked, the screen just freezes up after clicking "OK."
Is there a fix for this? This is a brand new device and I am already experiencing several screen lock up issues. I have already done a hard / soft reset, as well as a battery pull. I have also uninstalled the application and re-installed it, only to have this issue continue.
My screen turns ON automatically when sitting on counter/table (not touched) every 10-30 seconds continuously. Even if I have the screen lock on or the phone completely locked, the home screen keeps popping up. When I attempt the screen lock alone, within a minute the screen turns on and unlocks automatically without touching the phone. It's killing the battery.

This is not new in terms of programming! What is the problem?? Is there a fix for this or am I stuck setting my wallpaper everytime i reset my phone?? C'mon RIM! This is a ridiculous problem that should of been fix before bringing the phone out! same thing for the 5 - 10 sec freeze after you enter your security password to unlock the phone! My school e-mail is weird because when I go inside everything looks exactly like gmail but it isn't exactly gmail beacuse you can't sign on from www.gmail.com. Gotta go through the school website. was working perfectly fine until i downloaded an app that you can now get for free from RIM until some date in may. anyways, i wiped my phone and it was working fine for a few days, then it stopped working out of no where. then for some reason when i upgraded bbm and had to reset my phone, the touch worked perfectly but then randomly stopped working again. It basically does not work at all, except for sometimes when my phone is plugged in. idk how to fix this, would re-installing the software get it to work again or should i just take my phone in?

Sometimes the touch screen doesnīt work and sometimes is works but not in a perfect way. When I try to type some numbers to dial using the virtual keyboard some keys doesnīt work out like the back button. When I type the back button the number 3 appears in the screen. I tried to downgrade and then upgrade the software using the desktop manager but this didnīt fix the problem and even after pulling the battery several times the problem remains.
