I just updated my 9810 to OS 7.1, and now the touch feels not be not as responsive as it was before , there is no app world, as i have downloaded and installed it again, its not there. There is no hotspot feature in the version?
View 3 RepliesIn the past couple of days, I am having trouble with the touchscreen on my Neo V. It does not respond as well as it did before. For instance, the slide unlock takes 3 times to slide before actually unlocking. The upper notifications bar does not get pulled down easily. And while scrolling, I end up opening something appearing on the screen wherever the finger is touching while scrolling. All this did not happen before. I performed a system test as well, which does not really show any problem with the touchscreen. Restarting the phone did not help either. What could be the issue then?
View 5 Replies View RelatedToday my phone's screen suddenly went unresponsive to touch. As of now, touching it doesn't do anything, so the phone is inoperable. This did not occur as the result of a drop or other abuse. However, I have seen the numerous "ghost swipe" posts, and I will admit that I always carry my phone in my front pocket, face down. However I put my phone on a flat surface and it didn't seem to be bent.
The interesting thing is that sometimes, touching the upper left hand corner of the screen will issue a vibration just like the one you get from pressing the capacitive buttons on the bottom. And 3 times I have actually opened Cortana from pressing and holding near the top left corner of the phone, above the LCD. I've attached a picture where I have highlighted the places where touching the corner can issue a vibration - the blue area provokes the vibration and the yellow dot is where I've managed to open Cortana.
All of the other buttons on the sides work fine, I've done many soft resets but I'm reluctant to do a hard one. Right now I'm probably just going to get the screen replaced or something, or do you think that the screen's not the problem?
I was at the gym and my iphone froze. I can not turn if off and touch screen non responsive.

I have a big problem with my N97's.Both of them are having the same problem.The screen is responsive to touch and actually does switch colors.The best way to explain is a screenshot.

over the last few days my dare's touch screen has been acting up. first it was making random touches, i figured there is a pocket of air underneath the screen. now the screen is not responsive at all, it does not feel like the screen has been pushed at all it is like its completely solid underneath the touch screen. the display itself is fine, so i don't think the lcd is the issue.
there also seems to be a spot underneath the display on the left side (see picture) that has been expanding since the problem started. again i don't know if its air or moisture. any suggestions? i have seen both oem lcds and digitizers on ebay for around $15, which is more likely the cause of the problem?i can't draw too well with the touchpad on my laptop but the white thing is supposed to be an arrow pointing to what i'm talking about.
After my update to IOS5.1.1. My iPhone 4S screen is insensitive. I have switched it off (difficult to slide if it does not react) so I kept holding both buttons. When back on for the 3 rd time it seemed better but only for a couple of minutes, then I had again the same issues as before. I have not done anything else than upgrade from 5.1. To 5.1.1.

I have updated my device (Torch 9810) a few months ago and from that moment on the touch screen is not operating properly. Sometimes it works but most of the times it does not. Also the track pad does not always work properly after the upgrade. Yesterday nothing worked and I had to soft reset the device before considering throwing it to the swimming poolThe unfortunate thing is that I do not remember what type of upgrade I made but it took 2-3 hours to complete.Last but not least after this upgrade my battery dies in less than half a day. I bought a new one and the same thing happens.

Sometimes the touch screen doesnīt work and sometimes is works but not in a perfect way. When I try to type some numbers to dial using the virtual keyboard some keys doesnīt work out like the back button. When I type the back button the number 3 appears in the screen.
