Nov 25, 2011In the past couple of days, I am having trouble with the touchscreen on my Neo V. It does not respond as well as it did before. For instance, the slide unlock takes 3 times to slide before actually unlocking. The upper notifications bar does not get pulled down easily. And while scrolling, I end up opening something appearing on the screen wherever the finger is touching while scrolling. All this did not happen before. I performed a system test as well, which does not really show any problem with the touchscreen. Restarting the phone did not help either. What could be the issue then?

May 21, 2015Today my phone's screen suddenly went unresponsive to touch. As of now, touching it doesn't do anything, so the phone is inoperable. This did not occur as the result of a drop or other abuse. However, I have seen the numerous "ghost swipe" posts, and I will admit that I always carry my phone in my front pocket, face down. However I put my phone on a flat surface and it didn't seem to be bent.
The interesting thing is that sometimes, touching the upper left hand corner of the screen will issue a vibration just like the one you get from pressing the capacitive buttons on the bottom. And 3 times I have actually opened Cortana from pressing and holding near the top left corner of the phone, above the LCD. I've attached a picture where I have highlighted the places where touching the corner can issue a vibration - the blue area provokes the vibration and the yellow dot is where I've managed to open Cortana.
All of the other buttons on the sides work fine, I've done many soft resets but I'm reluctant to do a hard one. Right now I'm probably just going to get the screen replaced or something, or do you think that the screen's not the problem?

Aug 2, 2010over the last few days my dare's touch screen has been acting up. first it was making random touches, i figured there is a pocket of air underneath the screen. now the screen is not responsive at all, it does not feel like the screen has been pushed at all it is like its completely solid underneath the touch screen. the display itself is fine, so i don't think the lcd is the issue.
there also seems to be a spot underneath the display on the left side (see picture) that has been expanding since the problem started. again i don't know if its air or moisture. any suggestions? i have seen both oem lcds and digitizers on ebay for around $15, which is more likely the cause of the problem?i can't draw too well with the touchpad on my laptop but the white thing is supposed to be an arrow pointing to what i'm talking about.

Apr 30, 2012my phone is having touch screen problems literally the top and bottom dont work but the middle is about an hr later i notices a hairline crack on the screen it looks external as screen has not been damaged internally by looking at other peoples questions and answers it looks like a hardware problem because where the crack is the touch is working.... the crack has appeared the phone was never dropped so im wondering how it cracked?

May 13, 2012After my update to IOS5.1.1. My iPhone 4S screen is insensitive. I have switched it off (difficult to slide if it does not react) so I kept holding both buttons. When back on for the 3 rd time it seemed better but only for a couple of minutes, then I had again the same issues as before. I have not done anything else than upgrade from 5.1. To 5.1.1.

Sep 24, 2012Dissappointed to find I can't disable the touch screen. I've had a Bold 9900 for just over a week now and it's starting to drive me crazy. On a call it went to loud speaker or hold phone function for whatever reason or call to somebody else at the same time or various other irritations. The worst thing is that I work in technical support and many people call me every day on Blackberry. So during the last week I deal with lots of unsatisfied and confused customers.Is there any possibility to turn off the touch screen in a call mode? When is not connected shows the green blinking light, when connected for charging the light is red but the screen remains black either way. Calls go direct to voice mail. It is charged. Mar 12, 2012I have had the sensation XE for a month or more now and did not face any problems. Have not installed anything other than from market. Day before yestersday night, i went to sleep with my phone at 60% battery left and alarms turned on for 6:00AM. When the alarm started ringing i saw that the screen was grey in color and could not turn the screen on, nor could see anything at all. I pressed the power button, but it turns off the alarm but the screen still stays grey but nothing is visible. The power button also does not help to switch off the phone neither does the volume keys help. I have to remove the battery and reinsert it to get the phone back to work. and when i switch it on again the battery is still 45%. I wrote to HTC service center and they asked me to do a master reset. I did, twice, but the problem still exists. Its so random that i cannot predict What triggers this. It happend once when i was doing nothing and nothind went off ( alaram, or call or message)

Nov 2, 2011Normally when you are on a call and put the phone close to your ear, the screen goes dark because you are on a call, but when you move it away the screen comes back on. My screen when I am on a phone call stays dark as soon as I answer it. It does not come back on when you move it away from my ear, and to get it back on I have to press the wake button. Additionally, I am unable to answer call waiting either- when another call is coming in, even pressing the wake button does not wake the phone until after the second caller hangs up.

Feb 12, 2010I just bought the new Nokia 5233 phone.Whenever the phone is locked and I set a alarm. There is no way i can stop the alaram other than to reset the alarm manually by alarms-> edit.
There will be two touch buttons that apper on the otuch screen. One to stop and other to snooze the alarm. Even If press them, it wont work. The alaram keeps ringing. I even tried clicking on the green button and the menu botton at the bottom. Still no use. I cant even unlock the phone. Only thing i can do is press the red button at the end, which will snooze the alarm. After this, I have to manually change the alarm time.
The same thing happens even with phone calls. I cannot use the touch button that apper on the touch screen. I have to use the green and red button at the bottom.These problem come into picture only if the phone is locked. Otherwise it works fine.

My Sprint Touch Pro's touchscreen slowly died today. And I was wondering if anyone had any advice on what I should do. I bought it on eBay and apparently the warranty is non-transferable so that's void. I have it on Boost so I'm guessing going to Sprint is out of the question also.
