I live in amarillo texas, but last weekend I went to Colorado and nothing! I can make calls and hear people, but they can't hear me. This is the second time it's happened and AT&T has no clue what's up.
View 4 RepliesMy triumph seems to go into low power or "sleep"mode (Black screen) and can't be woken with the side power button. The battery life doesn't seems to be the issue because it will happen when the battery is at half charge or full charge. This seems to be occurring when it has not been used in awhile (~30 minutes). The only way to use my phone again is to remove battery and reinsert. Most of the time this occurs the red light is still on and blinking, but once there was no light at all with 3/4 batter life remaining. This is my second Triumph after having a bad ear speaker in the first one. Anyone else having this issue or have any suggestions on how to fix this. I've read the posts and I am curious if it has anything to do with WIFI being on since WIFI is on all the time when I am home.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI just bough the Torch 9860 and already replaced another one for the same problem, and since this second have the same problem, I think it is a general problem. Well the thing is that while the phone is in 3G coverage, it sometimes goes to like a "blocked" state. By this, I mean that the phone states as connected to the network and with full signal, but call wouldn't go out nor in, data is also not available, and the most important thing is that the phone doesn't show any signs of disconnection nor anything problem alike. Up until now, I have only seen this happening while in 3G coverage, and when this problem occurs, I switch the phone to 2G only and starts working fine again.

Because after a few hours her phone displayed "Your battery is low and your phone will turn off", but the indicator in the right corner said it was charged for 60%, After rebooting and a factory reset nothing changed. Sometimes it works for a few minutes, and then it shut down again.

so, after some battery pull, decided to re-install the original SO. now i can see the name of my carrier and the full power of signal but i'm not able to make/receive phone call or text messages because it says: no service available.
i looked for any number to contact but i didn't find anything.
i've bought this 9800 to replace my iphone but i think i'll keep my iphone: with apple a problem like this will be solved calling the support center and receiving a new phone, with the blackberry.. it's better not to know! (one frriend of mine sent the bb to the support and it come back after 2 month still not working) any number to contact? or any person who wnat to buy my torch?
There seems to be plenty of discussion about the 9900 not working with bluetooth on BMW cars but is anybody else having problems with a Torch 9810?My phone won't connect automatically - or rather it claims to connect on the iDrive screen, but doesn't work/ I have to disconnect and then reconnect again. That is on a good day. Every couple of days, it fails repeatedly and I have to delete the connection in the phone (the car won't let me) and pair again. Sometimes this takes a while. I am running version 7.0.0 Bundle 1465 which appears to be the latest software. My car is a 2005 BMW 6 series and it works fine with my wife's older Blackberry (a Curve I think) and my old Torch 9800.

Just did an OS upgrade on my 9800 when I saw an upgrade alert on BlackBerry Desktop Software.The OS after upgrade is 6.0 bundle 2342 (v6.0.0.526 platform 6.6.0.195)Now when I run my application to do the voice record (WAV format, not AMR ), I keep getting an error "Requested bitrate is not supported", I tried different bitrate (8000,16000, 44100, 48000....), none of them supported.I used to use bitrate=8000 for recording and it worked, but now it throw above exception.I even change encoding bit from 16 to 8bit, channel from 1 to 2, didn't work.

Problem 1:
The camera doesn't work. I open the camera application with both methods (button on side and icon in apps) but it does the red dot thing in the corner for about 4-6 seconds then disappears and applications tells me the app is running. I try to go to the app but it wont go on it.
Problem 2:
The green key, dialler and contacts icon on the home screen do not work at all. I have no way of opening my dialler as there is no option for it.
I updated my firmware to v40.0.005 last week. Please be aware the problems were both there BEFORE i made the update and are still here after the update.Is there any way of doing this without soft/hard resetting. Also, does soft/hard reset mean you lose the data in an app (eg your high scores in a game like bagatelle)?
Since I did the last update, every time I use my phone it asks for city, state or zip before I can use it. I went into verizon and they basically said tough luck...if you don't leave location on, it will do that for ever.
