my blackberry torch 9800 ear speaker hasnt worked in a while but it didnt bother me much because i would just put it on speaker and i could hear fine. recently my backlight (what it seems to be) has stoped working and i can barley see what i am doing on my phone. my phone still works fine besides those flaws but i would still really like to get it fixed.

View 1 Replies View RelatedOK ever since I connected my Bluetooth to a portable speaker device I've been having trouble with the external speaker itself. Usually when I watch YouTube videos or play music through the music app its more than normal loud. But now ever since my Bluetooth device connected to my droid turbo (Bluetooth has been turned off to watch videos) the speaker isn't loud at all. When I put my ear to the speaker grill I can hear the sound come out of my internal speaker for phone calls.

I was on the shower and a bit of water hit my iphone 4s specifically on the ear speaker, though it is still working ear speaker is not and cannot play music/ videos using the speaker, but I can use the speaker when talking to someone on the other line, its either that or I use and earphones. I have this problem on my new RAZR MAXX as well as my Bionic.After using a Bluetooth stereo headset or Bluetooth in the car, once the connection drops, the phone's speaker stops working for awhile.For instance, you might get a call and the phone doesn't ring, or you might play some music and the speaker is silent.This usually clears up after stopping and starting the music again, or if you get a second phone call it will ring.

Because after a few hours her phone displayed "Your battery is low and your phone will turn off", but the indicator in the right corner said it was charged for 60%, After rebooting and a factory reset nothing changed. so, after some battery pull, decided to re-install the original SO. now i can see the name of my carrier and the full power of signal but i'm not able to make/receive phone call or text messages because it says: no service available.
i looked for any number to contact but i didn't find anything.
i've bought this 9800 to replace my iphone but i think i'll keep my iphone: with apple a problem like this will be solved calling the support center and receiving a new phone, with the blackberry.. it's better not to know! There seems to be plenty of discussion about the 9900 not working with bluetooth on BMW cars but is anybody else having problems with a Torch 9810?My phone won't connect automatically - or rather it claims to connect on the iDrive screen, but doesn't work/ I have to disconnect and then reconnect again. That is on a good day. Every couple of days, it fails repeatedly and I have to delete the connection in the phone (the car won't let me) and pair again. Sometimes this takes a while. I am running version 7.0.0 Bundle 1465 which appears to be the latest software. My car is a 2005 BMW 6 series and it works fine with my wife's older Blackberry (a Curve I think) and my old Torch 9800.
