I am having trouble picking up audio while taking a video on my 1020. The speaker will play other audio (music, videos, internet videos), just not when I record. Also nothing comes out of my speaker phone when I switch it on. My phone updated to a newer version and that's when it stopped working.

I have an ATT Lumia 1020 that has started recording only "white noise" when recording videos. The picture records just fine but there is no audio. Happened after the phone was updated to Lumia Black.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have been having a serious issue with my Lumia 1020 there is no audio from the phone what so ever. I cant hear people when they ring and they cant hear me. The phone does not let me play music on it or play videos unless I go onto the internet and look at a youtube video but there is still no sound from it. Another issue is that when I go onto the camera app and select to take a video the phone closes its self out of the app. It does this same thing in other apps were I try to play any type of audio. There is no volume control because when the buttons are pressed a small gray strip across the top of the screen appears and goes away after a couple of seconds. Mechanically the buttons work as a have performed multiple master resets on the phone which involves using the volume down button.

The reason being I want to be able to plug it into my speaker system, and use it as a receiver for my PC laptops music. There must be a way/app to do this. I don't want to have to fork out for Bluetooth speakers, and using long audio wires to connect directly are just a pain.
I'm using windows 7 on my PC.
I've recently upgraded from a Lumia 800 to the 1020. One things I've noticed is that when I'm streaming video from YouTube, etc the 1020 doesn't show how much of the video has been buffered. The 800 used to show me with every app, whether is was browser videos or through MetroTube/Supertube. None of these show how much has been buffered on the 1020. Is this a WP8 bug?

1) In Camera Mode:----
OIS works with Auto Focus
OIS works when we manually set focus to infinity
But OIS doesn't work when Focus is on Manual.
However In Video mode,
OIS works in all 3 cases, i.e. OIS works whether focus is Auto or to infinity or Focus is Manual.
Let us request Nokia to look into this matter and release an update to Nokia Camera app to fix this issue.
I wanted to use the USB audio function on my phone to connect to my DAC and then connect my DAC to my headphone amp.
This works fine with my Sony Xperia Z3 and my OnePlus One when running Android 4.4.
However, with the Samsung S6 (running Samsung's touchwiz version of Lollipop) the USB audio function no longer works.
After upgrading my OnePlus One to Cyanogenmod 12 (running Lollipop) , the USB Audio also ceased to function.
got a problem with my speaker phone not working. When I turn it on, it doesn't get any louder. Phone is rooted , did a restart and no fix. My second question is , I bought this phone at a carrier will google warranty my phone ?
View 1 Replies View RelatedOK ever since I connected my Bluetooth to a portable speaker device I've been having trouble with the external speaker itself. Usually when I watch YouTube videos or play music through the music app its more than normal loud. But now ever since my Bluetooth device connected to my droid turbo (Bluetooth has been turned off to watch videos) the speaker isn't loud at all. When I put my ear to the speaker grill I can hear the sound come out of my internal speaker for phone calls.

I have purchased several TV shows and movies, all of which play fine on my desktop, laptop, and Microsoft Surface. Some of the video is from the Zune store and one of the videos is from the XBOX store on Windows 8. i was suprised to find that the videos i took with the nokia lumia 1020 were in the format of mp4. is it possible to use a higher definiation type of format. with 32 gb's of space it would seem it could handle heavier formats. secondly is there a zoom function in the camera.

I shot video with an app named Video Camera Pro - it puts the files in some hidden forder , not in camera roll.
The app says that the way to upload the files is by wi-fi and they provide a link to download a server software but its broken.
My windows 8 laptop does not see my Nokia 1020 phone using usb. It will charge but can't see files. I don't see a setting for usb connectivity function.

In a first moment i noticed that if I pressed the screen or the back of phone the top speaker for 4-5 second worked. After doesn't work even in this mode...My question is: Is this an hardware problem? the top speaker is fault or can this be a software problem?
View 6 Replies View RelatedWithout a headphone jack inserted, or plugged into a speaker using the port my iPhone 5 16gb will not play any audio or video. It just freezes the phone when you try to play something for about 5-20 seconds and then does nothing.Â
If a pair of headphones are plugged in then everything works perfectly. Same is true through the charging connector. My ringer is also currently not producing any sound.Â

I was filming my family and the video stuttered and stopped altogether after a few seconds. Then the app went to a green screen (totally green) and I couldn't fix it. I had to reboot the phone to get it to work normally. Is that normal?

I can hear a slight speaker pop when the speaker turns on and off, this is especially noticeable when using the keyboard and also with notification sounds.
I'm just curious if this is common to all the devices.
When i turn the speaker on the other party can't hear me but I can hear them. once i put speakers off every things normal.
