Nokia Lumia :: 900 Alarm Clock Does Not Work With Existing Alarm
Dec 18, 2012Lumia 900 failed to wake me up this morning. The alarm just did not sound at all.
- Alarm was set and was shown to be in use. Even the Icon in the start screen was shown
- Tried multiple times afterwards setting the existing alarm a few minutes forward. None of the attempts alarmed.
How I set the alarm is that I always edit the existing alarm, edit the time and push the alarm on.When I tried creating a new alarm (a few minutes forward), that ringed ok. But the existing alarm failed to ring

I'm not sure if it's a hardware or software issue, but whenever I press the button to take a picture, I end up with a short 2-3 second video instead. The setting for "hold camera button" is disabled, not det to photo bursts or video. The camera icon on screen works fine, but having a dedicated camera button was a huge game changer for me.

It will only work for a couple of minutes. I called att support and they told me I probably have a bad phone and to bring it back. Does anyone else have issues with internet sharing? Every time I set an alarm, it goes off, but complelty silent. I keep my phone on mute at night because I don't want to hear anything. But the Alarm, used to go off even though on mute. Here what I've done so far.
Settings > Sound and Notification> Application Notifications > Clock > Priority (Set to On)
Settings > Sound and Notification> Application Notifications > Interruptions
Sound Mode = Mute
Set priority interruption period: Here, I selected every day, and start time of 12:00AM and a End time of 11:59PM.
I thought these settings would cover me, but the Alarm still, does not sound. How to get the Alarm working when the phone is set on Mute Mode?

I set 3 alarms (just in case), 6:00, 6:15, 6:30.
First alarm went off, I pressed dismiss and went back to sleep.
Did not hear any other alarms go off.
Woke up at 6:33 by myself.. Alarm was not ringing, as soon as I unlocked the phone, 6:30 alarm went off and started ringing.
But that only happened after I woke up the phone with the power button....
I'll try to delete and make new ones.. weird..
Lumia 950 XL :: Why Don't Have Any Alarm Sound / Vibrations On Phone
Feb 8, 2016I'm running 10.0.10586.29 and when I set an alarm I never hear anything, not even vibration works.
I do see that alarm is Enabled and after it should have gone off it is set to Disabled, but nothing gets triggered.
Ofcourse I tried to do the standard troubleshooting like rebooting phone and trying dozens of times with:
- volume on/off
- different alarm settings
- only vibe setting in alarm app
- turning everything from alarm app on/off in "Notifications + actions" settings
- soft reset
