Mar 26, 2012I was on the shower and a bit of water hit my iphone 4s specifically on the ear speaker, though it is still working ear speaker is not and cannot play music/ videos using the speaker, but I can use the speaker when talking to someone on the other line, its either that or I use and earphones. What do I need to do?

May 19, 2012My iPhone 4s has ceased playing music via the speaker, though the ringer and speakerphone still work, as do the headphones. When I attempt to play music, I am given the choice of the Dock Connector (which is selected) or the AirPort Express we use to relay our wi-fi signal from another part of the house. I first noticed the problem trying to play a potty training app for my child - we could see the video but couldn't hear the sounds or songs.

Apr 12, 2012Recently my Iphone 3GS is having problem when playing music. There is no sound from the built-in speaker. However when making/receving calls the sound from the speaker is fine. I noticed that when I press the volume up/down button, there is no volume level indicator position on the screen, the circular button is missing (attached is the screenshot of the situation). However when a headset speaker is plugges in, the volume indicator level appears fine.
I had try restoring the iphone as a new iphone using my mac (from itunes) but the situation persist.

This generally happens on all volume levels but is more apparent from 50% upwards.

Jul 3, 2010I have just purchased a Sony Z5 (2 days old), when trying to listen to music through a headset or via Aux to Aux in the car, the music also comes out of the phone speaker.  I have cleared the data from the SMART CONNECT app and i have done the usual IT solution of turn it off and back on again, but this hasn't worked.

Usually when I watch YouTube videos or play music through the music app its more than normal loud. But now ever since my Bluetooth device connected to my droid turbo (Bluetooth has been turned off to watch videos) the speaker isn't loud at all. When I put my ear to the speaker grill I can hear the sound come out of my internal speaker for phone calls.
