I bought an unlocked BB Torch 9860, for same reason I don't know why, it doesn't work in 1900 Mhz Band, that produce I can't link to the 3G network in my country. Is it possible to solve the problem?

Return to my store. They told me: ''we have to send it back to Blackberry and wait many weeks to know if they will replace the device or charge you 60$ if they don't find the problem''.

The booting bar loads and gets to somewhere near the end and hooks there after which it never moves again! I've left it booting for over a day and it still didn't boot! I've reloaded the OS severally, even done a downgrade to 7.0 but still, no success.

I'm having a problem with my home wireless network and my Blackberry Torch. My phone is able to locate and connect to my home wireless network, but when I attempt to browse the internet, I get the following message: "Unable to connect to the internet, please try again later. If the problem persists please contact your service provider My internet and wireless network are working fine. I connected my desktop computer to the wireless network and browsed the internet without issue, my wife's phone (iPhone4) works without problem on the wifi network, and I checked with my internet service provider- they see no problems as well.On a hunch, I drove down to a local Starbucks to find a wifi hotspot. I found one, connected to it, and browsed the internet without any error messages. So now it appears that when I connect to a free wifi hotspot everything's fine but with my home network I get the error message above. The only thing I changed was the network.

so, after some battery pull, decided to re-install the original SO. now i can see the name of my carrier and the full power of signal but i'm not able to make/receive phone call or text messages because it says: no service available.
i looked for any number to contact but i didn't find anything.
i've bought this 9800 to replace my iphone but i think i'll keep my iphone: with apple a problem like this will be solved calling the support center and receiving a new phone, with the blackberry.. it's better not to know! There seems to be plenty of discussion about the 9900 not working with bluetooth on BMW cars but is anybody else having problems with a Torch 9810?My phone won't connect automatically - or rather it claims to connect on the iDrive screen, but doesn't work/ I have to disconnect and then reconnect again. That is on a good day. Every couple of days, it fails repeatedly and I have to delete the connection in the phone (the car won't let me) and pair again. Sometimes this takes a while. I am running version 7.0.0 Bundle 1465 which appears to be the latest software. My car is a 2005 BMW 6 series and it works fine with my wife's older Blackberry (a Curve I think) and my old Torch 9800.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy wifi doesn't work ( i cant surf) with data services off. and if i keep data services on that is if my blackberry services..and surf the webpages ..my balance gets decducted..but i have unlimited blackberry plan. and on the first place my balance shouldnt be deducted because i am using my wifi ( in case my page gets open through wifif not blackberry services) and if i am using my balckberry internet either way my balances shouldnt get decducted.
