I have Torch 9800 and some days ago it doesn't connect to the network. Works by wifi but if I try to call or receive it tells me "No service". If i pu the sim into another phone it works correctly.
Iphone 3GS doesn't charge when I connect it to a network adapter or to a laptop. Only ocassionally, it gets connected indicating charging but it is unsystematic. The chargers I tried with work perfectly with others iPhones. If it may help, my iPhone was dropped couple of times. Also from my observations, I think sometimes the iPhone might charge while it shows no charging.
I have a Nokia 700. Upgraded to 112.010.1404 via Nokia Suite as soon as I got it. I have set my WiFi network as the highest priority. I can connect to my WiFi network, yet after a while of inactivity the phone starts using 3G data again. I go into the WiFi networks and see that my network is listed as "Known" but not "Connected". I have to manually select it to re-connect.Power saving mode for WiFi is set to off.Is there a setting to automatically connect to any known WiFi network when in range? I am happy to manage battery life by manually turning ove WiFi when not needed.
"Just got my Blackberry Torch 9810 and I can't connect to AT&T's Network! I get an error saying that there is insufficent network coverage and yet when my girlfriend tries on her Pantech Impact, sitting right next to me, she has no problem. I'm able to make and receive calls and I have 3 bars showing in the signal strength indicator.
I just asked this question over on the AT&T Blackberry Forum but I haven't got a response yet so I thought I would ask it here too.
Since then, I called AT&T for help and they told me that it is probably because when I received my phone I should've left the new SIM card in it and activated it, rather than just popping in my old SIM card, is this true? In the past, I think I've just inserted my old SIM Card and everything worked as it should without performing a new activation.
Tried to connect to wifi through my router at home. While the phone listed my home network as a saved network QWD-59989 WPA2 Personal, it fails to connect. I get a message to verify saved network's security settings, but I do not know where to find the settings. Also, what is the passphrase - is it the router key?
I have the Torch. I am unable to connect to Rim's push network, Att 3g bar shows five bars and I can make calls and send texts but recieving email or using bbm cant be done. weird thing, when i log on to a wifi connection RIms icon comes back and i start recieving email and bbm works. I have a blackberry torch 9800 which was working fine until i went to england. The connection was fine. Then when i came back home to ireland my phone wouldn't connect to the mobile network and still won't! I can't send texts but i can ring people.
I bought an unlocked BB Torch 9860, for same reason I don't know why, it doesn't work in 1900 Mhz Band, that produce I can't link to the 3G network in my country. Is it possible to solve the problem?
I have an issue with my Torch 9800, It works fine with 3G but when I'm in poor 3G coverage area it doesnt want to work with 2G network or reboot itself. In the best case it connects with the 2G network for a couple of minutes and then drops the signal. I've tryed everything possible including software upgrade/downgrade (now I'm running the last 6.0.0.666 version), rebooting, switching to 2G only from Mobile network options but for some reason it doesn't want to work with 2G network which is very annoying when traveling somewhere cause the last time I was traveling to Manchester my mates' Bold phone was working with GPRS coverage and mine wasnt (same carrier).
Problem: When I connect Torch with PC and start Desktop Manager, DM asks password for BB. Once the password is punched, DM takes some time to connect i.e. a PC and BB is shown on Torch screen, trying to connect to each other AND then DICONNECTS.
Actions Already Taken: I have uninstalled and reinstalled DM. I have taken out battery and reboot BB. BUT problem persists.
I have a new Blackberry Torch. I am trying to get it to connect with my home router. My last Torch connected just fine, so I know it is possible. Also I have four other computers that are connected over this wi-fi network.I go to the "Manage Connections" section and put in the SSID as well as the WEP code. It tries to find it and then just comes back with "Failed to Connect to the Network" with no other reason or information. I got the 10-digit WEP code by logging in to my router and looking up the code on the Wireless Secuirty page. This is also the WEP code my other four computers are using, so I believe that is not the problem.
Nokia E6 with Symbian Belle Refresh which I bought just a couple of days ago.It does not detect wifi internet connections at all, although they are available. When I go to settings -> connectivity and then select wifi, it searches connection for a while and then shows that none are found. Meanwhile, my old Nokia E72 remains connected to my home wifi without any problem... I am really surprised and disappointed. Also when I try to set up the connection manually, it doesn't work at all.I can't believe that such a device is being sold, a wifi connection is something extremely necessary nowadays in a smartphone. I was so attached to Nokia but I feel like it is my last Nokia phone because this is just unbelievable
So, I bought a G3 (a white D855 32gb) from Dubai a few weeks ago to replace my 16gb UK version. However, it doesn't have an option in network settings for 4G. My SIM is definitely 4G enabled as it worked fine on my last phone and I can get around this using the 4G switcher app, but it defaults back to GSM / WCDMA option on reboot.
The phone has just been updated to version V10i-AME-XX (an Arab version I believe) as I was hoping that would fix it, but still no option for 4G. what I can see, there should be a 4th LTE / 4G option at the top. Why I can't see it? Using a UK (o2) SIM in an international phone perhaps?
i have been using 3GS 16 GB. I am getting network issue. The phone intermittently does not show network. It says no network found. Pls let me know how to fix this issue. I have unlocked iphone.
My new Xoom doesn't find any WiFi network. Where I am currently, there are at least three networks in reach, one of them is completely open. Neither of them shows up on the list of available networks.
If I set up mobile hotspot on Xoom, I can connect other devices via WiFi to Xoom, which leads me to believe hardware is ok.
im using blackberry storm 2 and i dont know why when i try to connect to 3g, it doesnt work and appear sos on the line coverage. my storm also get full coverage when at certain place only .
i my blackberry messenger has all of a sudden stopped working,i have tried everything but it just wont connect to network. Is there a 100% factory reset i can do apart from the hard reset ?I havent even got internet any more all of a sudden it just stopped working
I'm using my Bold 9700 and where I should be on 3G I'm only on EDGE I have tried searching manually with 2G & 3G selected but I can still only connect to 2G
I have bought my Xperia Z3 Dual recently here in Brazil, however the cellphone have the issue that it does not connect on the LTE network.I have configured it properly following the telecommunications corporation and have checked my info about my plan, however I cant connect to the LTE.
Yesterday I was informed by an Apple rep over the chat support site, that the 4S when upgrade with the iOS 5.1. That it does indeed connect to the 4G network. I find it very strange that the carriers have no information on this. If Apple has a iphone that connects to the 4G network. How come they have not informed the carriers? I just spoke with Verizon and they have no information of this that I was informed of yesterday by Apple. I upgraded my daughters phone to an iphone 4S 16G and could not get the promotion, because as far as Verizon understood this phone only operates on the 3G network.
I just updated my HTC One X to 4.1 on 26th of Sept 2012, and my phone will no longer connect to 3G network any more. Is this a provider problem? or Android/HTC screw up? I've tried rebooting, and checking all setting's, also tried to manually turning the network on, and off.
I know when you upgrade to iOS4 it updates the carrier file to AT&T 7.0. Being on 7.0 doesn't allow me to input my own Cellular Data Network settings. Is there another IPCC for at&t that will work on iOS4 and allow me to input my own cellular data network settings? Something to like the pictures I've posted.
