The 9500 BB Storm has given me problems from day one. the touch screen was very slow in responding as well as now differnent sections of the touch screen is not responding to the touch. I had to turn the phone to differnt angles to type one sentence and now I cannot even get the number 0 to work. How do I get a replacement? the unit was purchase in Nov 2010 in USA and am a resident of Sri Lanka.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a iPhone 4S, when I brought it after Christmas it connected to my 'Virgin Media wifi'instantly and game me the full 60 meg speed. As time has gone by, and multiple wifi routers replaced (thought it was initially the router) the iPhone is now struggling to connect and when it does its speed is less than using and EDGE conection. Of I reset the conection settings it works well again but after a week or so it will deteriorate back to how it was before he restart. I'm not sure if this is an ongoing problem with the hardware or if the software doesn't like virgin media as all other makes of phone and laptop will happily connect to my wifi with decent speeds.P.S. I have restarted the router multiple times

I have BOLD 9700 smartphone and i signed up for new service with AT&T 3 weeks ago, after that i realized that one of the key on the keypad is not functioning, i went to the store and he gave told me he is giving new phone as i am still in the One month policy. But my guess is he hasn't given me new phone instead he gave me a phone which is already used.Any body has idea how to find if the phone is used before or brand new?

- issue 1: camera not functioning
- issue 2: faulty touch screen
So here is my problem: My numerical keypad is not working. When I push a number nothing happens. The 0 works and when I hold down the 1 it goes to voicemail. When it goes to voicemail though, where the numbers should be there are letters. If I have someone in my contacts, I can call them but I cannot dial their number. Everything else on the phone works. Email, SMS and Browser all work. It is only the most basic function that will not work. I called Verizon and they helped me do restore and then an update but that didn't help. I went to the Verizon store and they said that all they can do is a clean wipe and restore, the same thing I did over the phone. I then took it to Cell Phone Repair (CPR). They said they have never seen it. And if they have never seen it, then it must be really screwed up.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have recently updated to the new OS via desktop manager. Shortly afterwards i have noticed missing calls and messages. The vibrate alert works & the light flashes but no sounds. I have expeirienced a similar but different issue on the last update, where all ringtones and sounds were ereased from the phone, resolution was go back to previous update and re apply update.
After a number of battery out reboots i have unfortunately not had success in correcting the fault. I note that the keypad tones are also gone when attempting to make a call. I have tried playing audio files and have no sound unless i switch to speakerphone, have considered that perhaps the speaker has failed or the issue has disabled the main speaker, guessing the ringer would use this...the phone works fine i.e the speaker next to ear works o.k but no evidence of any audio from the one on the back. In my few hours of exploring and proding the device i have discovered that the mute button seems to not do anything...
Can anyone offer some guidance or suggest a solution. I have trawled the forum a bit and found similar but not same descriptions, have explored all suggestions but have come up short
When checking voicemail, after the prompt to enter the passcode the first row of numbers are missing from one of my users new Storm2. When contacting the service provider (Verizon) the support person there said that she had swapped out a persons phone 4 times with the same result.

After dialing Verizon *611 or when calling voicemail, the number keypad is disabled and the numbers are gone or moved to different locations so I can not enter PIN. I am sure it is a software issue. Tried a hard reset with no luck. VZ authorized retailer believes he can fix this problem by wiping clean and reinstalling one app at a time. Has anyone else had same problem and any luck with a fix?

I called Verizon Tech Support and they just ended up giving me a brand new Storm 2 for free! All I had to do was re-sign my contract for another two years. Gonna miss my Storm 1 but the Storm 2 is sweet! Just got it today. Anyone wanting to upgrade, try using that excuse.

View 1 Replies View RelatedThree of the icons seem to not be functioning. Click on anything but Messages, Text Messages and Desktop and they open up. Click on any of those three mentioned above, and nothing. Actually, the device seems to lock up - keyboard locks and so does the trackpad. The only way out is to hit the end/power key, and then you have full function of the device. I've even tried holding down any one of the keys mentioned until the pop up menu comes up, and then attempt "launch," and the same thing occurs. The only way in to a message (for example) is to go to the Notification Bar, click it, then click the specific message. I did this, then tried to come in the "side door" by hitting the Menu Key, then scrolling to View Folder, then to Inbox (for example) and as fast as you can click, it dumps you back out.

For example, I cannot use the mobile apps for either my banks to deposit mobile checks because the camera will not focus on the check images and the pictures are too blurry to be accepted. I also have similar issues when using a couple of different shopping rebate apps (where you have to take pictures of bar codes and/or receipts).

Recently I had a disaster where I pocket-sent out some pictures that didn't need to be shared, and now the lock screen would really come in handy lol.
I got to "Settings" - "Personalize" - "Lock Screen Wallpaper" - and I've tried both the "Home Screen Wallpaper" and "Use Custom Wallpaper". It acts as though it's accepted whichever option I choose, but it never actually shows up on the phone when I activate the screen.
This past weeks my z2 screen just functions by itself. When I text it will call the person that I'm texting. And sometimes it will just not function. So I have to lock the screen and unlock it again Southam it will function back. I did went to a repair store already but the tech said I have to send it to there main branch to be repaired. I have 2 months left with my warranty but the thing is, my phone is having a Crack on the side because last year when I got this it accidentally fell off my pocket but after that there's nothing wrong with my z2. So I'm just wonder if the Crack will make my warranty void or something??

As I need to visit India and was a gift for someone I did not open the box and unlocked outside (As operator will not unlock untill 3 monthes) by just giving IMEI no.After unboxing, when we tried to use an Indian operator sim card , it did not work with the message showing please use authorised sim card. Afterwards,I tried my other O2 UK sim card which worked perfectly with configuring IPhone as it was just using first time. I have wiped out the handheld & restored the backup, but the problematic draft messages has gone missing now & everything works fine.
Iv had my Desire now for around 1 year and recently iv encountered a problem while charging.When i connect the charging cable and try to charge either by the PC or the power mains the battery icon doesnt start moving yet it has the lightning symbol and yet my phone doesnt charge. Its like theres only enough power coming through to actually run the phone.Sometimes when i charge the phone when its off it charges perfectly but other times it doesnt, sometimes when i charge the phone when its on it charges perfectly and other times it doesnt.I did have 300+ photos and videos on my phone/sd card but i thought it might of been a memory problem so i deleted half of my photo's/videos and then it charged perfectly....for a while but it has now gone back to just showing the lightning icon but the baterry icon not moving or charging.
