IPhone :: 4s Not Functioning Properly?

I got a contract iPhone 4s with Orange UK locked with the operator. As I need to visit India and was a gift for someone I did not open the box and unlocked outside (As operator will not unlock untill 3 monthes) by just giving IMEI no.After unboxing, when we tried to use an Indian operator sim card , it did not work with the message showing please use authorised sim card. Afterwards,I tried my other O2 UK sim card which worked perfectly with configuring IPhone as it was just using first time. Now, when I am trying my Orange sim card which came with phone or any other sim card, it does not working.Shold I swith to 5.1.1 or?Does it properly unlock?

I recently updated my IPhone 4 to 5.1 and now Bluetooth is not functioning properly in my two vehicles. Both vehicles see and pair with the phone as before, but when I receive or make calls the audio only comes through the phone - nothing through the speakers. Also, no one can hear me speaking unless i speak into the phone. I've noticed a few threads about problems with Ford MySync but neither car is a Ford. Has anyone else had this problem and is there a fix?

I had visited Nokia Care Center five times, at the very first time left speaker was not functioning properly, they changed the speaker but phone was not packed properly. Today I facing speaker problem again as well as phone packing is loose.

This is my third blackberry and I love them and will never change to any other smartphone. I tried an Android phone and it just doesn't compare to the stability and e-mail functionality of a Blackberry.
However recently my phone (a Bold 9700) has begun to experience some e-mail problems. I can receive emails just fine but I cannot for the life of me send an e-mail! I have deleted all my accounts and reentered all the info but I still cannot send any emails. I also can not set up a microsoft exchange account. It does not even give me the option. Please help! I need do be able to send emails for work purposes.

Not long before receiving a notice about an update for my Nokia 5530 XpressMusic, the music player stopped functioning properly. If I try to play a song from "All songs", I get the message "File is corrupted, Operation cancelled."
If I try the same through Albums, Playlists, Genres or Composers, I get the same message.
If I try to access anything through Artists, I get the message "General: System Error"
Podcasts works just fine.
I can play music tracks if I browse my files on my memory card, and play from there.
I have tried using Nokia Software Updater and reinstalling the newest update, and reseting my phone to factory default.
What should I do?

As an update, I got my phone to quite boot looping by wiping system, cache, and data. I then reinstalled 2.3.6 via computer. This has fixed everything except my wifi. I unistalled logcat and then found highlighted in red that my wifi drivers were not functioning correctly. This does annoy me but I can still use my phone!

I recently bought an iphone with the sole purpose of being able to use the facetime function (as my family life on the other side of the world) I admit I hadn't done alot of reserch into the subject but was very suprised to realise that bluetooth on an iphone doesn't function as bluetooth does on any other mobile I have used. Will this ever change? My major issue is not the file sharing (which I'll just have to cut back on) but the hands free option of using bluetooth in my VW. My car cannot seem to find my iphone although the settings are all on?

I have a iPhone 4S, when I brought it after Christmas it connected to my 'Virgin Media wifi'instantly and game me the full 60 meg speed. As time has gone by, and multiple wifi routers replaced (thought it was initially the router) the iPhone is now struggling to connect and when it does its speed is less than using and EDGE conection. Of I reset the conection settings it works well again but after a week or so it will deteriorate back to how it was before he restart. I'm not sure if this is an ongoing problem with the hardware or if the software doesn't like virgin media as all other makes of phone and laptop will happily connect to my wifi with decent speeds.P.S. I have restarted the router multiple times

Just got new iPhones a couple of months ago. Up until now everything was great. Now when I put a call on speakerphone, the other party can't hear me at all. If I blow into the mic, they can hear that, but they can't hear me talk. I've cleaned the mesh with a soft, dry toothbrush as suggested, made sure that the volume didn't read "headset", turned the volume up, turned the phone off-on, made sure nothing else was blocking the mesh over the mic, etc.
The really weird thing is that I was able to record a "Voice Memo" which uses the same mic and the recording sounded just fine.
So, is it hardware or is it software? Doesn't seem to be hardware since I can record a "Voice Memo" with no problem and I can also communicate with Siri just fine. It seems that the problem only happens when using the phone speakerphone feature.

My iphone 4G has a problem and its already been out of warranty and i dont know which carrier it was purchased since its 2nd hand when i bought it.This audio jack flex cable had a tear and does not function anymore including the volume buttons and the mute switch as well as the headphone jack. The problem with my phone is that it was working last night and now it wont turn on ive tried everything i can think of holding the home and power button for 20 seconds did nothing charging it did nothing the only thing that my phone is able to do is go into DFU mode and then it will put me in recovery mode during recovery mode my phone wont do anything it will just remain a black screen finally while itunes says waiting for iphone during recovery a error will pop up it is called error 4005.

My Iphone 4 just turned its self off and I cant get it to turn back on. It was fully charged and playing the Bell Media App when it ceased functioning. I tried turning it on with the button on top and nothing is happening. I have plugged it into my macbook & Itunes is not recognizing it.

My phone hasn't backed up in six weeks. It is on Wi-Fi, plugged in, and locked. Data size is around three gigs. It says estimated time 37 hours, or gets stuck on "estimating backup time." It also Will not work manually. I was also unable to upload a five minute movie.
