My phones keyboard is not working now and I have tried every single update and all that - when I updated the phone my microphone didn't worked after the update so I had enough and went for it and broke the phone apart - I got the mic working by a miracle, but the keyboard is still out of the game - I haven't abused the item in any other way or has it fell or had rain or water on it - It just ran out of batterylife and when I recharged it with my PC USB cable the keyboard was just not working. Otherwise good devices but not so good reliability. I will try to remeber to post here tomorrow when i have correct t5 torx screw ready - I hope to find something interesting inside.

I tried with push mail (accepting TOS from nokia) and pull (declining TOS from nokia), but created mailboxes never sync properly. There is no automatic sync. Tried with hard restart and reinstalling the software, but nothing, it wont auto sync mailboxes. I have to check mail manually. And today Nokia e6 don't accept lock code which is accurate and worked fine for 1 month since I change it. It just refuse to accept and restart when I put lock code.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've set up my Gmail account on my E72 device, and it has been working perfectly until yesterday. I would connect when I wanted and it would stay connected and sync emails until I disconnected.
Yesterday I tried connecting again, but nothing happened. When I tried to sync ('send and receive now') it connected for a few minutes while it did the sync, then disconnected again.
I haven't changed anything in my settings to make this happen. I've looked through them again and tried playing around and making some adjustments to see if it makes a difference, but it doesn't. The account just won't connect unless I tell it to sync, and won't stay connected afterward.
the keypad for my phone is not lighting properly, so it is difficult to see the letters at night. some keys are sticking also. How that is fixed.

The problem i am facing is, the message shortcut key which is on the keypad of this Phone, is not working properly. When i do long press to open new text msg, it sometimes doesnt opens any thing and sometimes even open messaging and then close it. At a certain angle i have to apply a little more force in order to operate it properly. wheather its a hardware problem or any sort of dust particles have emerged inside the keypad resulting in loose contact of the button and the motherboard.

i installed the latest update 071.004 on e72, now text message doesn't work properly. i have to switch off and on once to recieve the msgs. most of the msgs i send will go n sit in outbox. i have to manually select each one and select send option in outbox to send them. However recently my phone (a Bold 9700) has begun to experience some e-mail problems. I can receive emails just fine but I cannot for the life of me send an e-mail! I have deleted all my accounts and reentered all the info but I still cannot send any emails. I also can not set up a microsoft exchange account. It does not even give me the option. Please help! I recently updated my IPhone 4 to 5.1 and now Bluetooth is not functioning properly in my two vehicles. Both vehicles see and pair with the phone as before, but when I receive or make calls the audio only comes through the phone - nothing through the speakers. View 3 Replies View RelatedNot long before receiving a notice about an update for my Nokia 5530 XpressMusic, the music player stopped functioning properly. If I try to play a song from "All songs", I get the message "File is corrupted, Operation cancelled."
If I try the same through Albums, Playlists, Genres or Composers, I get the same message.
If I try to access anything through Artists, I get the message "General: System Error"
Podcasts works just fine.
I can play music tracks if I browse my files on my memory card, and play from there.
I have tried using Nokia Software Updater and reinstalling the newest update, and reseting my phone to factory default.
What should I do?

View 6 Replies View RelatedRAZR Maxx My problem is about the 4 bottom icons/buttons/keys (Menu, Home, Back, Search) not lighting properly. When in a fairly dark room they always stay lit. Last night before sundown the icons were not lit. It was too dark to see them without being lit. It also depended on the position. I do not know if this was due to internal position sensors or just getting different levels of light from the light sensors. I called Verizon Tech Support and they said this was normal. It may be "normal" but hard to use the phone if I cannot see the icons/buttons/keys.
View 13 Replies View RelatedI am having issues with the keys not working properly on the touchscreen keyboard. When the phone is in portrait and I press on a key what shows up is the key at the left end of that row ex: if I press L an A shows up on the screen, if I press U I get a Q. If I turn the phone so that the keyboard is now on the same side as the USB port I only get whatever buttons are on the bottom of the screen. If I turn it 180 degress none of the keys work.
I have also noticed this happening in applications like Google Latitude. If I press any of the icons on the bottm of the screen the only one that registers is the zoom out key.
If I do a battery pull things work well for a bit and then it starts acting up again.
I haven't seen anyone else posting about this and I am hoping that it is just this phone. I am exchanging it tonight.
