View 1 Replies View RelatedI have bought a brand new Nokia E6-00 and I was disapponted when I saw the messages menu. I set the view of messages as "Session View" not the "Inbox View". But the font size is extremely SMALL. I can't read anything easily. So, what I do is to tap on the recieved message and display as "inbox view". Beause inbox view font size can be adjusted. Is there a way to increase the font size of sessions?
View 4 Replies View RelatedBackground - 3 mail accounts set up, not via Nokia mail, but with direct server definitions; they are all for the same ISP, different ID's and passwords for inbound server, same ID and password for outbound server.I have noticed that if there is nothing thing in the in-basket for a given account the folders (inbox, Drafts, sent;outbox) do not appear in the dropdown - even though I know there are items in the "sent" folder.The moment something comes into the inbox - they re-appear - and the expected items are in the "sent" folder once again.Weird - and inconvenient, since it means you cannot access sent items if your inbox is empty.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've found I have to restore factory settings every few days because my E7 stops displaying "1 new message" at the bottom of the screen and also suddenly doesn't make a tone when the message arrives. Also, the small envelope icon at the top right doesn't appear. The only way I know I have a new message is if the phone is in standby mode and I see the menu light flashing. Otherwise, I have to open messages or conversations to see if there are any new messages. I have to do this every few days when it suddenly stops showing new message arrival. I've found only restoring factory settings works, which is a pain since it erases all my personal settings.

I tried with push mail (accepting TOS from nokia) and pull (declining TOS from nokia), but created mailboxes never sync properly. There is no automatic sync. Tried with hard restart and reinstalling the software, but nothing, it wont auto sync mailboxes. I have to check mail manually. And today Nokia e6 don't accept lock code which is accurate and worked fine for 1 month since I change it. It just refuse to accept and restart when I put lock code.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've set up my Gmail account on my E72 device, and it has been working perfectly until yesterday. I would connect when I wanted and it would stay connected and sync emails until I disconnected.
Yesterday I tried connecting again, but nothing happened. When I tried to sync ('send and receive now') it connected for a few minutes while it did the sync, then disconnected again.
I haven't changed anything in my settings to make this happen. I've looked through them again and tried playing around and making some adjustments to see if it makes a difference, but it doesn't. The account just won't connect unless I tell it to sync, and won't stay connected afterward.
the keypad for my phone is not lighting properly, so it is difficult to see the letters at night. some keys are sticking also. How that is fixed.

The problem i am facing is, the message shortcut key which is on the keypad of this Phone, is not working properly. When i do long press to open new text msg, it sometimes doesnt opens any thing and sometimes even open messaging and then close it. At a certain angle i have to apply a little more force in order to operate it properly. wheather its a hardware problem or any sort of dust particles have emerged inside the keypad resulting in loose contact of the button and the motherboard.

Also found problems with bluetooth. send via bluetooth option doesn't work. it doesn't even search for the the devices available.I am also getting 'memory full-close some applications' error in messaging and also in the browsers.my phone has about 191Mb of free space and mem card(8gb) 5.6gb free.

When my phone is locked and I slide open the keyboard it has the cool original clock display my phone came with. It also shows the good font when I get to the "draw pattern to unlock" screen. View 4 Replies View RelatedI have bought a Nokia E71 from a friend and when trying to download something from the Ovi store it asks for my user name and password, but says my user name and password are wrong and won't connect. I am using the same ones I use to connect to Ovi on my computer and it accepts them OK. Could this be because the previous owner's user name and password have been stored somewhere on the phone and as a security measure it won't let me in with my user name and password?
Does anyone know what I can do to be able to log in to Ovi on my phone so that I can download an application? The one I want at the moment is Sports Tracker so that I can check how many miles I do when going for a walk. I could perhaps find it online and download straight from their website, but I do really need to be able to download things through Ovi if required.
My problem is, when the phone goes in an area where there's no service, the 3G icon shows up in the right top corner, but when I go back to the area that has service, the 3G icon won't go away and I can't make any calls nor receive. only solution is to turn off the phone and turn back on. can you help me about that, how I can receive service again without restarting the phone?
