Sep 11, 2011I have bought a brand new Nokia E6-00 and I was disapponted when I saw the messages menu. I set the view of messages as "Session View" not the "Inbox View". But the font size is extremely SMALL. I can't read anything easily. So, what I do is to tap on the recieved message and display as "inbox view". Beause inbox view font size can be adjusted. Is there a way to increase the font size of sessions?

Feb 13, 2012I just got a brand new Nokia E7-00 (MODEL: RM-626, IMEI: *). I have connected my device via USB cable under OVI suite mode, updated Nokia PC suite to the latest version, 3.3.86), and tried to perform two operations; with no success:
#1: Backing up my Nokia E7-00.Result: Back up doesn't just complete, and the following screenshoot is previewed when phone settings are being backed up, and then phone is totally shut down (Contact, Calendar, etc.. Backup is done successfully and counter shows 100% for each).Definitely, I press continue (ATTACHED PIC 1) and turn on the phone again, having nothing changed..
#2: Upgrading my Symbian software to Belle; with no success as well.Result: after the phone is connected, back up operation starts, Nokia Suite backs up Calendar, Contacts, etc... Successfully until reaching Dictionary predetective settings to be backed up where the phone is shut down. A message similar to the above snip shot shows up saying that something went wrong, and that the phone will restart and operation will continue with no avail. I press continue, phone totally shuts down, I manually turn it on. and get the last screen shot below (ATTACHED PIC 3) (phone settings had no changes made). Jul 5, 2011I've got Ovi Suite 3.1.1.75 and I'm trying to install Map MyTracks app on E66. I installed a signed version, but somehow it was seen on the phone as an unsigned one. So I removed it and tried to install it directly via the phone but I got an error ("Installaton failed" or something like that). So I tried to install it again via Ovi Suite, but now Im getting error code 300.

When I try to install them, I get an error saying the certificate is expired. I have read some forums and have made sure that under Apps manager/software installation is set to 'All' and online cert check is 'off'. I am still not able to install any of the apps.

Dec 1, 2012I have a nokia E7 with Belle update , previously I had the Microsoft apps installed on my phone and for some reasons I had to do a full format and restore of my phone. My phone restore was only SMS and contacts.Then I tried installing the Microsoft apps again and after the installer file downloads , it ask me if it can download a 21 MB file , so I press yes and then it says " the connection was lost , canceling the installation "I am sure my network connections are OK, all the other applications download and install perfectly and I have tried it over 3G and Wifi. To be sure I did factory reset and it did not work.even when it creates an icon for smart installer , the same thing happens.

Mar 8, 2012I am having some weird problem with Nokia E5. I got this phone with *supposedly* pre-installed skype ver 1.5(16) that I cannot find anywhere even in App Manager.
When I try to update to a later version it reports it will upgrade the existing version but the installation halts. "Unable to Install!"
How can I get rid of the existing *ghost* version is there anyway I can do that?

May 13, 2012Is there any way to restore the clock font to a single font? When my phone is locked and I slide open the keyboard it has the cool original clock display my phone came with. It also shows the good font when I get to the "draw pattern to unlock" screen. The more square text seems correct for the Droid 2 while the boring round font on the opening screen seems to be a software goof/oversight.

Feb 24, 2011I have bought a Nokia E71 from a friend and when trying to download something from the Ovi store it asks for my user name and password, but says my user name and password are wrong and won't connect. I am using the same ones I use to connect to Ovi on my computer and it accepts them OK. Could this be because the previous owner's user name and password have been stored somewhere on the phone and as a security measure it won't let me in with my user name and password?
Does anyone know what I can do to be able to log in to Ovi on my phone so that I can download an application? The one I want at the moment is Sports Tracker so that I can check how many miles I do when going for a walk. I could perhaps find it online and download straight from their website, but I do really need to be able to download things through Ovi if required.

Mar 2, 2011My problem is, when the phone goes in an area where there's no service, the 3G icon shows up in the right top corner, but when I go back to the area that has service, the 3G icon won't go away and I can't make any calls nor receive. only solution is to turn off the phone and turn back on. can you help me about that, how I can receive service again without restarting the phone?

Dec 22, 2012My Nokia E7's Maps claims to be v3.09 12wk09 b05, MW OpenGL MN, Map version 0.2.47103 and 'SW Update' in checking for the latest improvements for (the) Nokia E7-00, says "Good news. Your E7-00 is already fully up-to-date."
Just before a weekly backup through Nokia Suite 3.6.36, I notice an opportunity to update the maps and, silly me, I decided to cheese the 'All' option erroneously thinking I'd have success updating 1,800+MB of map data; needless to say, at around 950MB or so, the error message of 'unrecoverable download error' or something to that effect left me with fewer maps than with which I began, including my local neighborhood!I attempted (several times) to download the map covering my local area and, when I tapped on the little red dot that show my current location, the surrounding vicinity is blank with the exception of several stars showing some of my Favorites.
Tapping the '-' to zoom out, however, reveals what appears to be street lines on half of the screen. Sure enough, there are some 'distant' Favorites, complete with streets but no street names except for major highways. Scrolling around leads to a screen freeze and even the lower left-hand 'x' to close fails as does any other attempt to close or even move to a different home screen. Closing the E7 and flipping it back open does nothing. Holding down the power button gives me three short, quick vibrations and then again gives me a reboot.
Back in Maps shows I have no maps at all; however, I can access Favorites in other countries. Downloading a map for the area where I live takes me back to my original dilemma where my current location is shown, but the surrounding vicinity is blank with the exception of several stars showing some of my Favorites, including those in different countries; however, even there not all streets/street names appear.Deleting that previously downloaded map and downloading it again makes no difference.
