I'm having issues with the camera function on the M8 in certain apps. For example, I cannot use the mobile apps for either my banks to deposit mobile checks because the camera will not focus on the check images and the pictures are too blurry to be accepted. I also have similar issues when using a couple of different shopping rebate apps (where you have to take pictures of bar codes and/or receipts).

I have downloaded Black berry app world 3.1.0.60 and my camera has stopped functioning with message"Could not start camera. Close other applications and try opening the camera again" but even after rebooting its not working.

I went to the Blackberry service centre - they are saying water has been detected in the camera socket. I am very sure I didn't spill any water on my phone neither it fell into water. They just dropped off yesterday while I was going about the day using the phone as I normally do-not syncing, not adding or deleting apps, it was fully charged, etc. I did a restore from my MBP (all software up to date; up to date IOS). Everything looked good after the restore/sync. But, after I disconnected the iPhone those two apps disappeared again. This is weird. Syncing my wife's iPhone to the MBP works just fine.
