I've had my Curve for about 2 years now.. and this is the only problem I've had with it since I got it. I went to use the camera yesterday and I get a message saying: "Could not start the camera. Close other applications and trying opening the camera again." The camera screen loads but it's black and it's not picking up anything....

I have gone thru every thing on my phone to make sure there is nothing open or running and cannot find anything.
I have also taken the battery out and started the phone up again. This has happened in the past, it stayed like this for a couple of weeks then all of a sudden one day it just worked, not sure what happened or why, but it would be great to have a quick fix solution to this problem.

I went to the Blackberry service centre - they are saying water has been detected in the camera socket. I am very sure I didn't spill any water on my phone neither it fell into water. I'd been travelling, and the phone was low on battery, so i switched it off - hoping to be able to start it the next day. However (and god only knows why), the phone hasnt woken up since then..When i plug my charger in it, there's no response from the phone - the LED/screen doesnt glow at all; and the phone obviously doesnt boot.On connecting via USB to a PC having BB desktop manager, the computer briefly recognises the phone via its PIN...but this is only for about 3-4 seconds. Immidiately after this, the phone gets *disconnected* from the dsktp mgr, and i see a '?' on the screen for a while......and then in another few seoncds the phone plays dead.Its out of warranty (3 years old or so), and i wanted to know if there's some way in which i can load the OS again/make this phone work. Am in a remote place, so havent been able to go to the service centre for getting it repaired.

I've searched the error on main bb help screens. Even found where others had same issue here. OK so it was one person and he got response to remove the battery and reinstall.
