Did a battery pull fix your issue? No (if you think of disable USB power)
BT device model/version (you will have to look at the BT device):

Trying to start "Configure settings" and this all the time breaks.
Have reinstalled (install on clean PC also) this 6 version. reset intellisync dir...tc...all waht I found on this forum.

What to do? How to get basic enterpise option to synchro outlook contact ONLY!!!!!????

Please help this is imposible to be in such a brand with so much problems and no explanation at all.

BB Desktop Software :: Storm Does Not Work On Windows 7 64 Bit Nor On Outlook 2010

Well I have been trying to get this @*** thing working for the last @*## week. My Dell was fried by a power spike. The Blackberry was in my pocket well away from the power spike. My current configuration is:

Windows 7 Home Premium
Acer Aspire 7540
4 GB of Memory 64 Bit Operating System
Blackberry Storm 9530, Platform Version 4.2.0.179, Application Version 5.0.0.419

1. I have installed the latest version of the Desktop Software via downloiad.
2. I spent most of today with tech support from Telus.
3. Neither MSS or MTP will work. We have installed and reinstalled all of the software atleast 3 or 4 times.
4. The Windows troubleshooter knows there is a problem and fails. It says (really helpful). USB Mass Storage Device has a driver problem. It also tries to install the MTP driver and fails. What is strange is that there is some communication going on between the Blackberry and the PC.
5. I can not get anything off the Blackberry (photos etc.).
6. The Blackberry does not work with Outlook 2010.

How can RIM possibly stay competitve when they can not even support the two largest platorms out there (Windows 7 64 bit and Outlook 2010). This is a symptom of massive problems for the future of this company. I can not talk to RIM. They want me to talk to Telus. Telus says there is nothing they can do. I basically have a Blackberry that is little more than a simple phone. If the @#*# thing did not cost so much I would just pitch it and get an iPhone.

I was told by a tele help agent at AT&T that Blackberry Desktop sync software was not able to be used if you are using Windows 7. I find this hard to believe but would really like to quit wasting time finding an answer if Blackberry does not support the new OS.I am also using Outlook 2010 with Windows 7 Premium and cannot get the Blackberry Desktop to sync with Outlook 2010 during set-up.I can't believe Blackberry didn't know a new Outlook was coming out and syncing would be one of those key tasks.

I upgraded Outlook from 2007 to 2010 about two weeks ago. Since then, I have been unable to sync my BlackBerry 8900 with Outlook. When I try to configure synchronization in Desktop Manager, I get an error message from Microsoft Outlook Connector saying, "No available message stores".

I have spend an enormous amount of time trying to fix this problem. I have read every thread I can find on the topic, and have tried all the suggestions. Nothing has worked.

Does anyone know what "No available message stores" means?Does anyone know what Microsoft Outlook Connector does?Does anyone know where the actual problem lies?Does anyone know how I can get this problem fixed?

I recently updated the software on my Blackberry Storm 9500 to version 5.0 and now i cannot send mms (though I can still receive mms).I have spent over 4 hours on the phone with my carrier (Vodafone) and they have no idea why I can no longer send mms. I tried downgrading the software and found I could send mms again.Is there any way of fixing it so i can have the newest version of software on my Blackberry and still be able to send mms?

I recently upgraded ACT 2005 to ACT 2010, along with getting a new server and firewall. Once the new server and firewall were up and running, I needed a new user profile on my PC. When I try to sync my Outlook contacts or calendar, the sync setup wizard fails with "No available message stores". Searching this forum and elsewhere it seems that there are 2 usual ways to solve this:

1) Remove the Outlook Add-Ins, which I done and rebooted.

2) Delete mapi32.dll and run fixmapi.exe which I've done and verified there is a new mapi32.dll in system32.

I've read that people can connect just fine with Outlook 2010 Beta (x32), but I not sure about x64 Windows - Maybe that's the problem. Did I miss another common solution to this or does anyone have anything else I can try?

Does anyone know what this message is trying to say? I have an Outlook profile configured so the MAPI library should be able to find it just fine, but maybe I don't understand what the message is really trying to say.

BB Storm 9500 :: Storm Is Not Connecting To Desktop Manager

I am needing to upgrade to the OS v.5 but my Storm is not connecting to Desktop Manager. I can see that it's connected to my laptop by checking under My Computer. I've repeatedly done a hard reset for my Storm and also uninstalled/reinstalled the Desktop software, restarted my laptop. I also disabled Norton and Windows Firewall. Neither worked. I also decided to do a "wipe handheld" which SORTA worked but doesn't work. Desktop Manager recognizes the Storm connection but still remains disconnected and the phone continues to flash the screen "Connecting to desktop" and goes away. The last time my Storm was able to connect to the Desktop software was in August of 2009 when I was able to backup my data. Now, not only can I upgrade my OS, I can't restore my data because for some reason the phone and Desktop manager will not maintain a connection. I'm beyond frustrated at this point.

I have used smartphones since the Civil War, and usually when there is a desktop to sync to, there is a calendar on the desktop. The only icons on the BB desktop are Media, Application Loader, Backup and Restore, Device Switch Wizard, Synchronize and IP Modem. Seems sort of unnecessarily idiosyncratic, but what do I know? I can't find anything on the BB site, where they evidently think email is the most important issue. Probably for some.

I have a Storm 2...My carrier is Verizon.I work on a PC..I put most of my calendar items first on the device.I would like to put calendar items on both device and outlook to have them sync.I have reconfigured synchronization on Desktop Manager a bunch of times.I am not able to migrate existing calendar items on my device to outlook on my desktop.I also have a problem with double items appearing on my device from time to time.

Recently I changed jobs and as a result I used crackutil to remove my old companies (BES) IT policy from my BB.The new company activated via wireless activation (BES) and now I have 2 "desktop" contact lists. I am trying to sync with lotuc notes but cant as only the 2nd desktop list will sync. my original contacts are in the other desktop list and will not sync. I have tried going to contacts > options> typing rset and it deletes the lists but i cant get them to load from back up into one list.

Apps and free space No Apps. mega free space .File free before and after a battery remove/replace. My storm connected GREAT to the desktop manager with my old work computer. synched all my contacts and appointments from Outlook which is all I wanted it to do. Work gets me a new computer. 64 bit, dual processor, a million gigs of RAM. I download and install newest Desktop Manager from Blackberry site. start it up. I get this little window: "Before you begin verify that your current Blackberry device is connected"
So I connect the Storm via a USB cable. As I wait, Windows 7 does it's thing, installs whatever it thinks it needs, and then asks what I want to do. Meanwhile Desktop Manager (DM) does not see the Storm.....

My BB Strom will not sychronize with the Desktop manager. Before I've a PC with Vista it works perfect. Now I Install Desktop manager version 5.0.1.28 on my new PC with windows 7 64-bit and it doesn't work. It looks like it synchronize but when you look in the Calander of both PC and BB nothing changend. I'll ask Vodafone in Holland for a solution. I went to the Verizon place a couple of days ago to see if they could get my phone to stop freezing and running slow. Well they accidentally deleted over half my pictures and my phone is the only place I have those pictures. Well luckily, I thought, I have a backup file and my pictures will be on there. But whenever I try to run it I get the error "data not recognized by desktop!" Some of these pictures are really really important to me and I want them back. Is there anything I can do to make the backup file work? Will it even contain the pictures? I have a blackberry storm and the verizon place said I have the most updated software.

BB Storm :: Outlook Sync "unknown Error" After Upgrading To Desktop Software To V6.0.0.43?

Upgraded my Storm 2 9550 to v5.0.0.1015 and desktop software to v6.0.0.43. Media sync's fine. No sync with any Outlook conduits. I receive an Intellisync "unknow error" dialog box and the sync completely shuts down. Can't change any of the configuration settings as well. Receive the same "unknown error".
