BB Desktop Software :: No Available Message Stores - Outlook 2010 Beta X32 / Windows 7 X64 / DM 5.0.1.28
Jan 10, 2010
When I try to sync my Outlook contacts or calendar, the sync setup wizard fails with "No available message stores". Searching this forum and elsewhere it seems that there are 2 usual ways to solve this:
1) Remove the Outlook Add-Ins, which I done and rebooted.
2) Delete mapi32.dll and run fixmapi.exe which I've done and verified there is a new mapi32.dll in system32.
I've read that people can connect just fine with Outlook 2010 Beta (x32), but I not sure about x64 Windows - Maybe that's the problem. Did I miss another common solution to this or does anyone have anything else I can try?
Does anyone know what this message is trying to say? I have an Outlook profile configured so the MAPI library should be able to find it just fine, but maybe I don't understand what the message is really trying to say.
I upgraded Outlook from 2007 to 2010 about two weeks ago. Since then, I have been unable to sync my BlackBerry 8900 with Outlook. When I try to configure synchronization in Desktop Manager, I get an error message from Microsoft Outlook Connector saying, "No available message stores".
I have spend an enormous amount of time trying to fix this problem. I have read every thread I can find on the topic, and have tried all the suggestions. Nothing has worked.
Does anyone know what "No available message stores" means?Does anyone know what Microsoft Outlook Connector does?Does anyone know where the actual problem lies?Does anyone know how I can get this problem fixed?
My environment: Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit Outlook 2010 32-bit BlackBerry 8900 OS 4.6.1.231 BlackBerry Desktop Manager 5.0.1.16
I have BDM 5 installed on windows XP and worked fine with outlook 2003 synchronization. Recently, I have installed outlook 2010 beta planning to move to MS Office 2010. The problem is that BDM does not synchronize with outlook 2010. What solution could you provide me?
When will Blackberry Desktop Manager be able to sync with MS Outlook 2010? I spent £100 on the latter yesterday after discovering that Windows Calendar can not be synchronised with my new Bold 9700: the sync process ends with a Microsoft Outlook Connector Error message: "No available message stores". Burrowing into Blackberry's on-line support, it seems the most likely cause is BDM - 5.0.1 - trying to connect to an unsupported version of Outlook. (Article ID KB15564).
The result is no contacts or diary on my expensive new smartphone, which is disappointing beyond belief, since Outlook 2007 etc. seems no longer available.
I am trying to Sync My blackberry 8330 Phone with MS Outlook 2010 Beta. I can not Sync to any part of MS Outlook (Calendar, E-Mail, etc) I always get the same error message "No available Message Stores". Does anyone know what is causing this or how to fix it.
Windows 7 64 bit MS Outlook 2010 Beta 32 bit Default Profile Blackberry OS V5.0 Latest BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
Well I have been trying to get this @*** thing working for the last @*## week. My Dell was fried by a power spike. The Blackberry was in my pocket well away from the power spike. My current configuration is:
Windows 7 Home Premium Acer Aspire 7540 4 GB of Memory 64 Bit Operating System Blackberry Storm 9530, Platform Version 4.2.0.179, Application Version 5.0.0.419
1. I have installed the latest version of the Desktop Software via downloiad. 2. I spent most of today with tech support from Telus. 3. Neither MSS or MTP will work. We have installed and reinstalled all of the software atleast 3 or 4 times. 4. The Windows troubleshooter knows there is a problem and fails. It says (really helpful). USB Mass Storage Device has a driver problem. It also tries to install the MTP driver and fails. What is strange is that there is some communication going on between the Blackberry and the PC. 5. I can not get anything off the Blackberry (photos etc.). 6. The Blackberry does not work with Outlook 2010.
How can RIM possibly stay competitve when they can not even support the two largest platorms out there (Windows 7 64 bit and Outlook 2010). This is a symptom of massive problems for the future of this company. I can not talk to RIM. They want me to talk to Telus. Telus says there is nothing they can do. I basically have a Blackberry that is little more than a simple phone. If the @#*# thing did not cost so much I would just pitch it and get an iPhone.
Any assistance out there on the 2010 MS OFFICE PRO - - upgraded from 2003 and having difficulties sync-ing the device. "Got a Microsoft Outlook Connector Error - - No Available Message Stores" Read a few post(s) and it appears that 2010 Office Pro was not yet tested when during Beta period... Does anyone have any fix for this problem..
I read here the problem with outlook, but all posts say it is beta...but till a few days there is a final version, but nokia is not fit enough to fix the sync with outlook 2010 64bit?
I have Windows 7, and Outlook 2010 Beta. RIM will not support "Beta" software. I am getting the message, "No available message stores". Using Desktop Manager 5.0.1.28, Nov 11, 2009
I was told by a tele help agent at AT&T that Blackberry Desktop sync software was not able to be used if you are using Windows 7. I find this hard to believe but would really like to quit wasting time finding an answer if Blackberry does not support the new OS.I am also using Outlook 2010 with Windows 7 Premium and cannot get the Blackberry Desktop to sync with Outlook 2010 during set-up.I can't believe Blackberry didn't know a new Outlook was coming out and syncing would be one of those key tasks.
My Storm2 9550 will not sync with my new computer which runs Windows 7 and Outlook 2010. I have trying this for months with no success and any help would be huge!!
Sync with older Outlooks work.Syncing with Outlook 2010 does not.AT&T says it is a known problem and suggested not installing 2010.They say the problem is on RIMS end and they have no idea when RIM will solve this problem.

After doing this, I can no longer sync my Blackberry Tour. Desktop Manager recognizes the device, but every time I hit the sync button I get an "unknown error" message.

I spoke with technical support at Verizon and they told me that I was not able to sync my Blackberry to Outlook because it is not yet compatible with Windows 7.
Can anyone verify if that is true and know if Blackberry will soon be able to use all sync options - email, contacts, etc. - with Windows 7? I know have to continue to sync with another PC.

I am new to the forum and also to Windows XP Professional x64 edition. I have reinstalled my Desktop Manager (downloaded BlackBerry Desktop Software v5.0 and v5.0.1 from the Blackberry website) and everything appears to have worked correctly. However, when I run the program, it never initializes. Has anyone had any experience getting the software to run in this edition of Windows?
I am using a 8520 and outlook 2010. When I try to set up the organizer settings I keep getting an error message saying 'The operation terminated unexpectedly'

I recently downloaded Microsoft Outlook 2010 and updgraded my desktop software to version 6.0, but now my BlackBerry won't synch. When I try to configure my settings, I get an error message that the operation was aborted. How can I synchronize my BlackBerry to Outlook 2010?
I recently bought a Blackberry Style, and am connecting to a WIndows7 PC with Outlook 2010. I set the Blackberry desktop software to sync to Outlook, and it worked the first few times. However, now every time I open the desktop software or try to manually sync, it reads the calendar entries but then I get the following error message: "One or more configured folders is not available. Update folder mapping and try again."
