I read here the problem with outlook, but all posts say it is beta...but till a few days there is a final version, but nokia is not fit enough to fix the sync with outlook 2010 64bit?
I have Windows 7, and Outlook 2010 Beta. RIM will not support "Beta" software. I am getting the message, "No available message stores". Using Desktop Manager 5.0.1.28, Nov 11, 2009
I have BDM 5 installed on windows XP and worked fine with outlook 2003 synchronization. Recently, I have installed outlook 2010 beta planning to move to MS Office 2010. The problem is that BDM does not synchronize with outlook 2010. What solution could you provide me?
When I try to sync my Outlook contacts or calendar, the sync setup wizard fails with "No available message stores". Searching this forum and elsewhere it seems that there are 2 usual ways to solve this:
1) Remove the Outlook Add-Ins, which I done and rebooted.
2) Delete mapi32.dll and run fixmapi.exe which I've done and verified there is a new mapi32.dll in system32.
I've read that people can connect just fine with Outlook 2010 Beta (x32), but I not sure about x64 Windows - Maybe that's the problem. Did I miss another common solution to this or does anyone have anything else I can try?
Does anyone know what this message is trying to say? I have an Outlook profile configured so the MAPI library should be able to find it just fine, but maybe I don't understand what the message is really trying to say.
Hi, I just upgraded to the Ovi Suite 2.2.0.241 and I'm still unable to sync with Outlook 2010. When I go to the Tools->Options->Device Sync, Calendar doesn't appear in the list. Also, when I select Options->Calendar and Tasks, it says I need to have Outlook installed.
I'm running Outlook 2010 on Windows 7 with the latest patches, and trying to sync with a Nokia N97 with the latest firmware installed.
I have been struggling with syncronization issues between my Nokia N97 and Outlook 2010 for nearly a year! With the latest Ovi Suite version 2.2.0.245, finally some issues are solved but still others persist. In this thread I would like to mention that Ovi synchronization does not sync the Contacts information such as Company and E-mail.
Is it possible to use Ovi Suite under 64-bit Windows 7 for synchronizing the phone's contacts and organizer with the 64-bit version of MS Outlook included in Office 2010?
Is it possible to use PC Suite under 64-bit Windows 7 for synchronizing the phone's contacts and organizer with the 64-bit version of MS Outlook included in Office 2010?
The OVI software, 3.1.1.80, is not recognizing that my PC had Outlook 2010 on it. Therefore it is not seeing my contacts or my calendar and does not synchronize it.In the OVI software on the PC it says I have to have Outlook in order to synchronize the calendar. Irritating. The PC is running Windows 7.
the diabolical OVIsuite on one side for a moment.could a nokia person confirm whether nokia intend to release an update of PCsuite that will syncs all contact(including categorization/multiple email address/phone) and calender fields properly between an n97 and MS outlook 2010 (win7-64bit), and when.If you read this , and want this even a 10th as badly as I do,.
My BB Strom will not sychronize with the Desktop manager. Before I've a PC with Vista it works perfect. Now I Install Desktop manager version 5.0.1.28 on my new PC with windows 7 64-bit and it doesn't work. It looks like it synchronize but when you look in the Calander of both PC and BB nothing changend. I'll ask Vodafone in Holland for a solution. They say that it's a software problem what is not fixed for the moment. Wait for new software. I don't believe this. (Excuses for my bath English).
241 worked pretty well, but with 245 I cannot sync with Outlook 2010 at all.
The preparation phase will not complete:
"Preparing to sync notes..."
"Preparing to sync calendar and tasks..."
It also cannot be aborted.
When setting up sync, the selection of Outlook folders is very slow (several minutes), but it eventually does allow me to choose a folder. Still, I'm guessing the problem lies with the Outlook interface (MAPI?)
I haven't tried to re-install Ovi yet, but looks like I have to.
New version will not sync with Outlook 2010,says Outlook is not the default mail client when it is and once you continues it give sync failled message. Also each time I run it I get 250+ error messages in the Windows 7 System event log. Three screen shots of the error and event log entries attached.
When will Blackberry Desktop Manager be able to sync with MS Outlook 2010? I spent £100 on the latter yesterday after discovering that Windows Calendar can not be synchronised with my new Bold 9700: the sync process ends with a Microsoft Outlook Connector Error message: "No available message stores". Burrowing into Blackberry's on-line support, it seems the most likely cause is BDM - 5.0.1 - trying to connect to an unsupported version of Outlook. (Article ID KB15564).
The result is no contacts or diary on my expensive new smartphone, which is disappointing beyond belief, since Outlook 2007 etc. seems no longer available.
I am using a 8520 and outlook 2010. When I try to set up the organizer settings I keep getting an error message saying 'The operation terminated unexpectedly'
I am running windows 7 and just want to sync my calendar instead of having to enter them manually.
I recently downloaded Microsoft Outlook 2010 and updgraded my desktop software to version 6.0, but now my BlackBerry won't synch. When I try to configure my settings, I get an error message that the operation was aborted. How can I synchronize my BlackBerry to Outlook 2010?
I recently bought a Blackberry Style, and am connecting to a WIndows7 PC with Outlook 2010. I set the Blackberry desktop software to sync to Outlook, and it worked the first few times. However, now every time I open the desktop software or try to manually sync, it reads the calendar entries but then I get the following error message: "One or more configured folders is not available. Update folder mapping and try again."
I have purchased a Blackberry 9300 and the very first thing I tried to do is export my contacts from Outlook on my computer to my new cell phone. I thought that was going to be smotth and easy, but ¦ surprise, my phone cant connect to Outlook!
This is what I did: connected my phone to my computer and went into synchronization setup for the Address Book from the BB Desktop Manager. A list of available applications is displayed and includes Outlook Express, ASCII importer/exporter and Yahoo, but no Outlook 2010.I found an article mentioning that this happens if Outlook doesn t have a MAPI client installed, but I m not convinced that this is the source of my problem, so I wanted to ask to this forum before embarking in some changes to my Office 2010 software.I updated the device softare to the latest versions, the device properties panel says Platform version 6.6.0.223 Application version: 6.0.0.600
I have just upgraded from Outlook 2007 to 2010 64 bit and now cannot sync with my Torch 9800. The error message I get is: Intellisync Cannot log on to Exchange Server. Please check server access or provide valid password.I am not on Exchange server just a stand alone outlook. This worked fine before the upgrade to 2010.
We recently did a number of hardware upgrades on our computer and installed Windows 7 and Office 2010 about 3 weeks ago (full versions not upgrades). I have been unable to sync my BB ever since and after reading through the message boards have discovered I am not alone. I downloaded the latest BB update which I understood would make my BB and Office compatible.I don't know if the problems are related to BB and Office not being compatible or if there is another problem with my computer. This is what I have done and am encountering: downloaded BB update version 6.0.0.43; BB would not recognize Outlook when I tried to organize my Contacts and Address Book. I have tried repairing and subsequently uninstalling then reinstalling this update a few times.
- gave up and downloaded CompanionLink; Received error message "Click-to-run Outlook lacks API capability. You must install Outlook on your PC for sync". I sought help from CompanionLink but continue to have no luck. The "Add-Ins" link in my BB Desktop Software was available when I first downloaded CompanionLink but has now disappeared and I don't know how to get it back. I did try repairing the BB update to see if this would resolve it.- in the BB Desktop Software Applications tab, it states BB 5.0.0 System Software version 5.0.0 and Core Application Version 5.0.0. are required but it does not give me the capability to install it. I thought the version 6.0.0.43 update replaced version 5.0.0. I don't know if this is relevant or if it matters.
I want to sync my BB Bold 9650 with MS Outlook 2010. I do not want to use the BB calendar, contacts, etc.,instead just want to use Outlook contacts, calendar, email and tasks. I just can't find any clear directions to get this accomplished.
I am trying to sync my bold 9700 with Outlook 2010 calendar & contacts. When I start with the configuration, I can select outlook as an available desktop application, but once I select it and a two-way sync - then immediately, I get a message saying "the operation terminated unexpectedly". I have tried restarting both my cpu and blackberry
How can I get my iPhone 4G to sync the contacts in my Outlook 2010 (and vise versa) which is installed on my HP with Windows 7 64 Bit Operating System?Â
I just tried to sync my contacts with outlook 2010 but I get an error message saying that Outlook 2010 64 bit has been detected? Anyway to make this work? Please don't tell me to install the 32 bit version of Office as I have a 64 bit CPU and Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
