i have just installed platform 5.2.0.67 and i now no longer understand my phone its completely different!i can now no longer get web access even though ive re-added my wi-fi. i cant find blackberry app world to download facebook and can't get it off the site
View 9 RepliesI can no longer access the internet from the BlackBerry Browser nor can I send or recieve emails. Facebook opens and is up-to-date. Can't remember my password to log in and check teh email settings and can't recieve a new one when it is requested.

I just updated to 5.1 and this is a feature I used to use on 5.0.1 often. Seems like it is broken...not happy.

My iPhone 4s is no longer accessing the internet, despite the fact that it is successfully connecting to my home wifi network. It was working up until late last week and seeing the new patch/update (which I downloaded and applied) thought it would fix it, unfortunately it didn't.
I have done a quick search through the regualr channels and googled to problem, and I didn't change anything to do with my network before it stopped working and obviously my computer and interent are still operational.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI was using msu and p2k commander to transfer music to the phone. I got about 20 songs that are in mp3 format over to the phone when p2k commander disconnected the phone. Now I shut down the phone and turned it back on and now I can no longer access the v cast or my music. I have music on the memory card and phone, but it will not let me play any of them. So here is what I have tried to do to correct the problem. I did a reset and a master clear and that did not help. I tried to reformat the memory card #3457* and that did not do anything just display the numbers that I just showed you. Any help or point it the right directions would really help out. I am about to do a flash and a reinstall of the Verizon firmware to see if that would help. If I don't need to install that firmware please let me know. Hi my Nokia N86 has stopped sending sms! It keeps trying to send them but never sends, I have called my network (o2) who says its the phone but it was working ok for 5 months, I have turned off the GPRS connectivity and checked my SMS settings, all is fine but it just wont send.I have a sneaking suspicion that this has happened since I use the 'software update' tool but the only updates that were updated was 'ovi contacts' and 'ovi maps' could they interfere with my sms?

I got a BB Curve 8520 for xmas, phone up orange, they put me on a temporary contract so i could use BBM and the browser until Jan the 5th when my contract is paid, at which point the BB £5 internet bolt on would be added.This bolt on has been applied, im paying for the service. Yet i am not recieving it, and orange seem to ahve no idea as to why my phone isnt picking up the internet service.I have performed the options, advance settings, hout routing table, register now, it has done nothing.When i go on manage connections, service status its says : Blackberry internet service, connection: Mobile Network.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI've had the phone about a month and suddenly some of my contact photos no longer appear. I have my phone sync'd to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Google contacts.
Everything was working fine, contact photos would appear next to each person in the messaging app, when they called, and in the regular contacts app just fine.
About a week ago, the contact photos for the people I call/text most frequently have disappeared. This only applies to Facebook contact photos, as all other contact photos still display fine.
So far, I've:
- Checked Facebook settings and all contacts are syncing. I even went so far as to remove Facebook and reinstall. Everything syncs fine, but then after an hour the same contact photos disappear again. This doesn't apply to all of them, just some.
- Edited the contacts and linked/unlinked from Facebook. Doesn't make a difference. I found in the contacts where to select the photo source (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) and even in that setting it looks like the person has no Facebook photo, but they do.
