Jan 4, 2012When I try to access hotmail from my web browser I get windows live screen that says "we were unable to sign you in with your windows live ID. for help fixing this problem, please visit http://login.live.com on your pc. I have done that but can't see what to fix or change to correct this problem? I have been able to send/receive and be notified of a new email received for years, until recently? Haven't updated, changed or altered anything on my phone either

Feb 2, 2010My hotmail email account does not allow me to always chose access point, its provides a list of known points and if its not available it does not give choice of another. Whereas my ntlworld account (pop account) allows me to set default access point as "always ask".

Oct 5, 2011When my Anna-N8 sudenly stopped syncing Hotmail, I deleted the account to add it again (as recomended by Nokia in this forum). But now I just get a notification saying "Service unavailable at the moment. Please try again later" (my translation from Swedish) when I try to set up the Hotmail-account.

Dec 7, 2010After reinstalling the whole firmware in Nokia Care, everything works fine, except the email app.
VERY STRANGE problem. I can only sync maximum 50 emails in my hotmail account but 250 emails in my yahoo account! The setting are all the same (maximum mails in inbox > 250).
I have tried to delete the account and re sign up it, and i have tried to login with another hotmail account. STILL THE SAME. 50 emails maximum for hotmail accounts. Soft reset has been tried. NO USE AT ALL :-(
How can I solve it? Do i need to reinstall the whole firmware again in nokia care (OMG !)

Jul 30, 2012I can't longer use the e-mail client to access my hotmail account. The problem started happening around 2 weeks ago and the situation remains, the client continues to tell me the password is wrong, but it's not.I've tried to set up the account with Mail for Exchange, and while it initially seem to work, then suddenly the e-mail from last month all start going to the Deleted Items folder in Hotmail, even after having configured the phone never to delete any messages, so I stopped using that solution as well.

Feb 26, 2010I have a BB Tour with Bell Canada, and recently, our company recently updated our BES server.Ever since the switch, I no longer can sync my BIS server emails.So on my BB, I have my company's BES email(lotus notes), and that syncs up fine...if I delete an email from my BB, it'll delete on my desktop, and vice versa.But for my BIS emails(hotmail), when I delete from my BB, it will not delete the email from my hotmail account...or when I delete from my hotmail account, it'll not delete on my BB.

Jan 5, 2011I'm no longer receiving hotmail emails to my Blackberry. I am able to send hotmail emails from my phone but not receive. My hotmail account is working well via my pc. I'm also receiving emails to my other non-hotmail account on my blackberry.I have been on the phone with my carrier O2 about this over 10 times and they have confirmed its either a Blackberry or Hotmail problem, not an O2 issue.I have tried nearly everything; removed and readded my hotmail account on both the Blackberry Internet Service website (via device browser) and Email Settings on Device, turning phone on/off, host routing table and registering etc..nothing seems to be working.Hotmail have suggested I re-configure the pop3 settings on my phone, but I don't understand how this can be done. Oct 13, 2011I picked up a new N8 about a month ago and I love it. The one thing that has absolutely been bugging the **bleep** out of me is sending SMS messages. In conversation if I send a message longer than a line or two, it fails to send and sits in my outbox as failed (resending from here does not work).If I want to send this message I have to move it to my drafts, and then hit send. If the text still fails to send and recieves a sending error then returns to my outbox as failed, I then have to move it to drafts, select >options>sending options> and manually change it to a multimedia message and then send it.

Aug 23, 2010When I had my 8310 curve there were a crapload of options in the brower settings and one of them was to select which type of brower it viewed the webpage as, (blackberry, IE, etc.)
anyways, I'd like to know if this option still exists, because I'm trying to access a mobile website but its coming up as the full website. When I tried putting an m. in front of the website it didnt work so I'm not sure how to access it.

Jul 20, 2010my PC was able to connect to the internet with my 5800 via a USB cable.Now, I can no longer connect to the internet with the 5800 via a USB cable.I had never tried connecting the computer to the internet with the 5800 via Bluetooth prior to this incident, so I tried that.Strangely, it works.My question is how come I can no longer use the 5800 via USB as a modem, but how come the 5800 via Bluetooth still works as a working modem? I just feel better using the USB connection and knowing that my 5800 has a clean bill of health.BTW, my PC is on Windows 7 Professional at the moment.I've tried uninstalling the Ovi Suite and reinstalling it, but that didn't work.I've also tried using PC suite instead of the Ovi Suite but that didn't work either.What other options do I have, beside hard resetting the phone?BTW, the message shown when I tried to connect to the internet with the 5800 USB modem was "failed to establish a network connection".

Sep 13, 2012Since the Belle Refresh update on N8 I've been having a bug concerning text fields in the browser. When a text field is active and the keyboard is visible, clicking buttons on the screen will make you click other nearby links or buttons instead. For example, if you click Search in my attached image, the "Sign in" link will get clicked instead. That happens on other sites aswell. It also happens if you click on empty space with a link underneath it. As if the touch-screen area moves up a bit when the keyboard appears. Right now I'm using the enter key, but I'm still used to just clicking buttons on the screen.
