Why can I no longer access my groups on my Facebook app on my BB torch ...I now have to use the mobile Facebook to see them ..this has only happened over the last couple of days

My Blackberry Curve will no longer let me access the internet or facebook app, it won't let me follow links on my emails and BBM has become very slow, when I try to access the internet or internet based things like facebook or app world it says I need to verify settings.

View 3 Replies View RelatedEver since the last system update, the Contact Groups I created have an icon with a padlock next to them and I have no capacity to edit their content.
I can create new Groups (I assume, because there's a button that says I can), but can't change existing ones. I've tried going to the individual contacts to see if the group designation reside there now, etc. I'm wondering if this is tied to Verizon's Backup Assistant, somehow, though my groups don't appear on the web interface for that service at all.
I can't download blackberry appworld, my facebook, twitter are not working, but I managed to download opera mini browser and I have been using that to access facebook, twitter and other web pages.

When accessing a contact group, the bionic will always open the last opened contact group. I worked through some settings with motorola last winter, but the problem has never corrected. I even received a new phone when the speaker jack crapped out, same issue.
View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter the ICS update my email groups won't function. When i type in the group name it doesn't appear as an option for me to select. This is incredibly frustrating. What's more, the only way you can use the group is by navigating to contacts, scrolling over to groups, then pushing the group, then clicking "send email" this would be fine if i always selected the group before sending the email, but my primary use case is taking a picture and sending it to a distribution group (pictures of my kid sent to grandparents and family every day). When I take the picture then click the button to attach it to an email, then try to type in the group name, it doesn't appear.

When I tried to scan myself back into the group I was told I am already a member but it doesnt show on BBM. Done the battery pull trick - no good. Not sure what to do next.

I can no longer access the internet from the BlackBerry Browser nor can I send or recieve emails. Facebook opens and is up-to-date. Can't remember my password to log in and check teh email settings and can't recieve a new one when it is requested.

Facebook recently made some changes to its application and it won't show up any longer on the Honeycomb market. If you have it on there already it should work.
But I suggest you given FriendMe a try. It's a very nice Facebook app that takes advantage of some Honeycomb capabilites. I use it over the regular Facebook app (mine still works) despite a few bugs.

I just updated to 5.1 and this is a feature I used to use on 5.0.1 often. Seems like it is broken...not happy.

My iPhone 4s is no longer accessing the internet, despite the fact that it is successfully connecting to my home wifi network. It was working up until late last week and seeing the new patch/update (which I downloaded and applied) thought it would fix it, unfortunately it didn't.
I have done a quick search through the regualr channels and googled to problem, and I didn't change anything to do with my network before it stopped working and obviously my computer and interent are still operational.

Recently I have noticed that my facebook contact pictures o my phone (ray) has not been updating. Thought it was my phone so I have removed facebook and facebook inside xperia from accounts and sync and even clear the data from facebook in appications.
Readding the accounts, facebook is syncing up but I do not get any pictures, the photos/interest info is there when you view my contact but the picture is not there.
Is anyone having the same issue, there a bug in the recent update?
On my N8 after the update, using the default browser just comes up with the message:

I was using msu and p2k commander to transfer music to the phone. I got about 20 songs that are in mp3 format over to the phone when p2k commander disconnected the phone. Now I shut down the phone and turned it back on and now I can no longer access the v cast or my music. I have music on the memory card and phone, but it will not let me play any of them. So here is what I have tried to do to correct the problem. I did a reset and a master clear and that did not help. I tried to reformat the memory card #3457* and that did not do anything just display the numbers that I just showed you. Any help or point it the right directions would really help out. I am about to do a flash and a reinstall of the Verizon firmware to see if that would help. If I don't need to install that firmware please let me know.
