I can no longer access the internet from the BlackBerry Browser nor can I send or recieve emails. Facebook opens and is up-to-date. Can't remember my password to log in and check teh email settings and can't recieve a new one when it is requested.

View 5 Replies View RelatedMy iPhone 4s is no longer accessing the internet, despite the fact that it is successfully connecting to my home wifi network. It was working up until late last week and seeing the new patch/update (which I downloaded and applied) thought it would fix it, unfortunately it didn't.
I have done a quick search through the regualr channels and googled to problem, and I didn't change anything to do with my network before it stopped working and obviously my computer and interent are still operational.

My Blackberry Curve will no longer let me access the internet or facebook app, it won't let me follow links on my emails and BBM has become very slow, when I try to access the internet or internet based things like facebook or app world it says I need to verify settings.

Interestingly I can still access my facebook and ebay apps just not use google or internet browser.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have just bought a Storm 2 9550 that is from Verizon USA. The device is GSM unlocked, and I am using it from Hungary on a local carrier. I am in the middle of a carrier change that has Blackberry services, however I currently have 3G web access on my actual carrier. However, the integrated browser that came with the phone, does not allow me to use the 3g network, only WIFI service. I cannot even set it to 3G on the browser options tab, as it only offers "hotspot browser".
Is there any way I can find a http browser that supports the 3g network, so I could surf the web on this carrier until I complete the carrier change? Is there any on Blackberry App world? I didnt manage to find one.
Also, I would like to have a POP3 client on my device that can communicate through 3G with a pop3 mail server, as the integrated email messaging software that Blackberry device software 5 offers is only capable of having a mail account through a BB service provider.I am very staisfied with the device itself, great for managing calls, and multimedia - did not face any crashes at all (maybe once when I wnated to take a picture and it frozen when the flash lit up).

View 3 Replies View RelatedI was using msu and p2k commander to transfer music to the phone. I got about 20 songs that are in mp3 format over to the phone when p2k commander disconnected the phone. Now I shut down the phone and turned it back on and now I can no longer access the v cast or my music. I have music on the memory card and phone, but it will not let me play any of them. So here is what I have tried to do to correct the problem. I did a reset and a master clear and that did not help. I tried to reformat the memory card #3457* and that did not do anything just display the numbers that I just showed you. Any help or point it the right directions would really help out. I am about to do a flash and a reinstall of the Verizon firmware to see if that would help. If I don't need to install that firmware please let me know. View 1 Replies View RelatedI got a BB Curve 8520 for xmas, phone up orange, they put me on a temporary contract so i could use BBM and the browser until Jan the 5th when my contract is paid, at which point the BB £5 internet bolt on would be added.This bolt on has been applied, im paying for the service. Yet i am not recieving it, and orange seem to ahve no idea as to why my phone isnt picking up the internet service.I have performed the options, advance settings, hout routing table, register now, it has done nothing.When i go on manage connections, service status its says : Blackberry internet service, connection: Mobile Network.

I plan on giving the phone to my girlfriend and in the last few days the camera has become inoperative. I've done battery pulls. Remove memory card. Nothing seems to fix it. I'd like to continue using my Blackberry Bold 9000 as a free wi-fi only internet access device and install the Google Voice app so my kids could text message and make phone calls via the Google Voice app and phone's wi-fi connection. While my BB Bold is able to connect to our home wi-fi network like in the past it doesn't successfully connect to the internet and gives me the following message: "Unable to connect to the internet, please try again later."

But now I can't seem to bring up the vkeyboard on the home screen to allow me to enter the code. All the instructions say to open the menu and select "show VK" but that's not showing in the menu. Also, I mapped it to a side key and it brings it up everywhere BUT the home screen. Did rim disable this ability?
View 7 Replies View RelatedEver since I downloaded the new OS I can no longer type, text, email properly. I use the full keyboard in both portrait and landscape view. The problem is that every time I type, the words constantly change themselves. They do not follow my command so they change. Before, If I was to type "dfsnfjns" it would stay as that. Now if I type that it will automatically change to a word that I did not want there such as "deafens", etc. In the keyboard settings, the auto correct feature is disabled. Can someone please help me fix my problem?

Sounds like this is a known issue for 5.0 with the Verizon broadband tether.Is there a fix in the works from BlackBerry?I liked what 5.0 had to offer, but can't upgrade again until this is fixed as I need to tether for work.
View 5 Replies View Relatedmy PC was able to connect to the internet with my 5800 via a USB cable. Now, I can no longer connect to the internet with the 5800 via a USB cable. I had never tried connecting the computer to the internet with the 5800 via Bluetooth prior to this incident, so I tried that. Strangely, it works. My question is how come I can no longer use the 5800 via USB as a modem, but how come the 5800 via Bluetooth still works as a working modem? Sorry, if my sentences are confusing. I have a terrible headache at the moment. While the Bluetooth connection works, I just feel better using the USB connection and knowing that my 5800 has a clean bill of health. BTW, my PC is on Windows 7 Professional at the moment. I've tried uninstalling the Ovi Suite and reinstalling it, but that didn't work. I've also tried using PC suite instead of the Ovi Suite but that didn't work either. What other options do I have, beside hard resetting the phone? Edit: BTW, the message shown when I tried to connect to the internet with the 5800 USB modem was "failed to establish a network connection".
