Oct 25, 2012After the ICS update my email groups won't function. When i type in the group name it doesn't appear as an option for me to select. This is incredibly frustrating. What's more, the only way you can use the group is by navigating to contacts, scrolling over to groups, then pushing the group, then clicking "send email" this would be fine if i always selected the group before sending the email, but my primary use case is taking a picture and sending it to a distribution group (pictures of my kid sent to grandparents and family every day). When I take the picture then click the button to attach it to an email, then try to type in the group name, it doesn't appear.

This can't be right, I could do that even in my old Nokia (3110 or something like that). How to do that? At least there's got to be a 3rd party program for that available in Ovi.

Only a direct connection (exactly one WLAN or GPRS/3G connection) is available.

(currently only see wav files) i am sure there will be some updates to make it better, but it is a great start. i have had no issues with it so far, so even the noob should be ok trying it.

I'd like to see my groups straight away (e.g. clients, business partners, friends, etc), open and search them, rather than finding them among the contacts. Actually, this setup misses the whole point of classifying contacts into groups! What on Earth was Nokia thinking? Is there any way around this? A firmware update or a third-party app? Jun 28, 2012Yesterday I finally wanted to organize my phone contacts. Why does the phone always go back to the group after adding a single member? I always have to click the add member again and then click the letter I was last and search for the next contact. This is very bothersome, why can't I select multiple contacts or at least go back right to where I last stopped.
Why in the world can I only add up to 20 members into a group? My family contacts is about 50 or 60 and my work contacts are at least 40 as well. Why is there such an arbitrary contact limit? If it is because of group SMS then simply make it possible to disable this feature for bigger groups.
Overall I find the people app very annoying. The Lumia 900 is a phone first, not a tablet. As such I would expect it to have all the features a phone needs. No phone profiles (Silent, Phone alert only, all alerts, etc.) no separate control for ringtone sound and all other sounds, no notification of missed events when the phone is locked.

Jul 10, 2012Anyway to surpass the 20 members per group limitation...I have to say this is really annoying why is it old androids phone let you have close to unlimited members per group according to your SD card storage, but not for Lumia 900
so I am thinking Nokia should mark this as a play phone not for business usage? I am quite frustrated that I got a new phone but force to use back my 5800 xpress music because most of my contacts transfer over is kinda screw up, and yes I have went to a Nokia care center and all they can reply "is a new software is like that".

Jun 15, 2012The max number of persons allowed in a contact group is (as far as I know) restricted to 20 persons. This seems very low and I wonder why this restriction is applied. A limitation of 20 persons in a group is not practical.

Instead, every message is identified by the phone number. So whereas before I could easily id them now its more difficult. Anyone know how I can get the original setting back? Mar 16, 2010Couple of days ago I've noticed that my phone E51 is lack of "OK" button - to be more precise: when I'm creating new SMS/ MMS message and I'm going to add contact, the cell phone displays all my contacts, I can select one or more persons but can not confirm by OK button (normally placed at left lower corner of the screen) because there is not "OK" letters and linked button doesn't respond.
See picture below - there is OK button, mine E51 doesn't have that on.Additionally my contact groups are missing and I can not display them - they are gone.I've reset my phone with the code *#7???# but notching changed. Afterwards I've tried to upload my contacts' backup to my cell phone - and PC suite said there is synchronization problem - but nothing more... "Contact's can not be synchronized"...

When I tried to scan myself back into the group I was told I am already a member but it doesnt show on BBM. Done the battery pull trick - no good. Not sure what to do next.
