Nokia :: E51 Has Lack Of "OK" Button And Groups Are Missing Too

Couple of days ago I've noticed that my phone E51 is lack of "OK" button - to be more precise: when I'm creating new SMS/ MMS message and I'm going to add contact, the cell phone displays all my contacts, I can select one or more persons but can not confirm by OK button (normally placed at left lower corner of the screen) because there is not "OK" letters and linked button doesn't respond.
See picture below - there is OK button, mine E51 doesn't have that on.Additionally my contact groups are missing and I can not display them - they are gone.I've reset my phone with the code *#7???# but notching changed. Afterwards I've tried to upload my contacts' backup to my cell phone - and PC suite said there is synchronization problem - but nothing more... "Contact's can not be synchronized"...

I do not have an 'edit' button in the top right hand corner when looking at my contacts list therefore am unable to update numbers or delete contacts- I re-booted my phone but that didn't work!

Just completed the latest Torch OS update and BBM update - everything works except that my BBM Group has diappeared. When I tried to scan myself back into the group I was told I am already a member but it doesnt show on BBM. Done the battery pull trick - no good. Not sure what to do next.

Today i just lost the groups in my BBM. but if you share a photo, the group names are still there. they are just missing from the list in BBM.

I did an upgrade to v5.0.0.680 on my Blackberry 9700 and after that my Standby - Mute button not working also the Email Setup is missing an option to add a personal account it only giving me option to add "Blackberry Enterprise Server."

After the ICS update my email groups won't function. When i type in the group name it doesn't appear as an option for me to select. This is incredibly frustrating. What's more, the only way you can use the group is by navigating to contacts, scrolling over to groups, then pushing the group, then clicking "send email" this would be fine if i always selected the group before sending the email, but my primary use case is taking a picture and sending it to a distribution group (pictures of my kid sent to grandparents and family every day). When I take the picture then click the button to attach it to an email, then try to type in the group name, it doesn't appear.

When in 'My Position' mode, the map moves to follow you as you move, however, it does not rotate. Is this due to the 5800's lack of a built in compass? If not, how can I enable this? Pressing the compass icon achieves nothing. Is there a way to manually rotate the map? Again, messing about with the compass icon has no yieled results.In navigation mode, when a route has been set, your current speed is shown, along with warnings when you go too fast, along with speed camera information. Is there anyway to activate these features without setting a route? I'd like these features when I'm out on a random drive, and have not decided a destination. E.g. having them in 'My Position' mode.Also, I do not have a data package, and so have A-GPS disabled, in Locations -> Positioning settings under applications, and have only integrated GPS activated. I've been wondering whether there is a charge for Network Positioning though? It seems as if all it does it find the mast you're connected to.

I am having a memory problem with my N97,When trying to upload the new version of Ovimap, the installation stops because of lack of memory, it asks that I delete some and start again.Have been into file manager and had a look to see I could delete, already deleted most of my apps and messages like it says on other answers.

I have an nokia 5800 and lately i have been very dissapointed with the lack of social integration on the home screen. I have seen many phones with facebook, twitter and so on that updates automaticlly on the home screen. I think that this phone would be alot better with it, and i am sure im not alone that thinks so.

I have updated by n8 with Anna and Maps 3.08, 11wk41 b02, map version 0.2.43.117. It works fine except when driving to a destination on a freeway / motorway. The roadway is a gray color that blends into the background and even though it zooms in at interchanges it is small. Thus, at 70 MPH you cannot clearly see where to turn without staring at the scene, very dangerous. This makes it unusable and unsafe for freeway driving and it must be changed. Can I go back to the old version, or do I just start using my Tom Tom GPS and dump the phone.

I have an iPhone 3GS. I used to be able to reset the "Home Button" by going to Settings/ General/ Home.
I recently upgraded to the latest iPhone software: 4.0.2 and now the "Home Button" is no longer there.
Is there a way to reset "Home" under this version.

After updating to Android 4.0.4 on my Xperia Ray, I miss the (now missing) delete button, in the top bar (in portrait mode) of the image Gallery app. It was nice to have when I went through my photos. I know that I can find this delete function in the options menu, but it's still an extra step. In Danish, the detete function in the options menu, is incorrectly translated, it says now 'Faldende' and the correct is 'Slet'.Can I / we get delete button back?

A week or so ago ATT finally dropped the 4.3 update for the One, but now my copy button is missing in Chrome. When you tap the area it is supposed to be it briefly shows up but otherwise it is an empty space. I've tried resetting Chrome and reinstalling the updates but it didn't work. Not sure if this is 4.3 related or unique to Chrome.

I've read the user guide (in Finnish) many times and have understood that it isn't possible to assign different ringtones for different persons/groups. This can't be right, I could do that even in my old Nokia (3110 or something like that). How to do that? At least there's got to be a 3rd party program for that available in Ovi.

I can't see how to do this on the N900 although the facility must be there because when I go to contacts and press the drop down menu there is a tab that says 'groups'. When I press the tab it lists my groups as sim cards contacts. I have no idea how to create a new group.

one we have two Pearl phone that have no send button, one says service isn't set up but its getting emails. The other never got the message but it also is receiving emails.The one that didn't get the message is recieving error messages on the oputlook even thought it still forwarding everything to the blackberry, the error messages come every 15 mins.

For accessing my e-mail I would like to use my wireless LAN connection at first and only if there is no WLAN connection available I would like to use the packet-Data (GPRS, 3G) connection.I can define a "Destination" which contains both WLAN and GPRS connections with priorities.I can not, however, select this "Destination" in my mail settings. Only a direct connection (exactly one WLAN or GPRS/3G connection) is available.
What am I doing wrong?How could I set prioritized access groups for e-mail? *)What exactly is the use of "Destinations"?

My contacts is in extras-devel and works great. it has a full screen widget you can turn on and off too.i have been able to create 4 groups of people/contacts and assign rings to them. (currently only see wav files) i am sure there will be some updates to make it better, but it is a great start. i have had no issues with it so far, so even the noob should be ok trying it.

It seems that the E71 does not support groups like older models used to: apparently groups are listed alongside contacts, and it is no longer possible to see and search groups directly. I'd like to see my groups straight away (e.g. clients, business partners, friends, etc), open and search them, rather than finding them among the contacts. Actually, this setup misses the whole point of classifying contacts into groups! What on Earth was Nokia thinking? Is there any way around this? A firmware update or a third-party app? Also, how are contact groups managed in the N97 mini? Is it the same, or does that mobile finally allow you to see and search groups directly?
