View 1 RepliesI just upgraded to OS 6.0 today and now whenever I get a notification from Facebook, the sound won't play like it used to. When I have the phone on vibrate, it does not vibrate either. I tried going into each sound profile and I set the alerts for "social feeds" since Facebook isn't listed under there (only Twitter is).
View 9 Replies View RelatedI am totally new to the world of blackberry! But under the ring tones/alerts section there was an option to have a sound alert for facebook, which I was using. I then noticed a couple of days ago, there was no longer a sound alert when I got a facebook message, and the option to chose one has disappeared from the ring tones/alerts section.
View 3 Replies View RelatedSo yesterday I was using Facebook on my Bionic for a good half hour to 40 min. After I was done I put the phone in my pocket and went on my way. About an hour later I take out my phone to use it and upon waking up the phone, there was a pop up box on the screen stating that the Facebook app was either not responding or has been running for an extended period of time would you like to terminate the app? I click on the button to kill it off and that was that.
Has anyone ever had this happen on their phone? In all the years I've owned an Android phone I have never seen something like this, is this Moto's app killer? I know I do not have any apps listed in the apps to kill in the moto app killer so I'm not sure why this pop up came up.
My contact list no longer shows Facebook contacts .

Why can I no longer access my groups on my Facebook app on my BB torch ...I now have to use the mobile Facebook to see them ..this has only happened over the last couple of days
View 5 Replies View RelatedIn fact, you may want to try it even if Facebook is working.
Facebook recently made some changes to its application and it won't show up any longer on the Honeycomb market. If you have it on there already it should work.
But I suggest you given FriendMe a try. It's a very nice Facebook app that takes advantage of some Honeycomb capabilites. I use it over the regular Facebook app (mine still works) despite a few bugs.
Recently I have noticed that my facebook contact pictures o my phone (ray) has not been updating. Thought it was my phone so I have removed facebook and facebook inside xperia from accounts and sync and even clear the data from facebook in appications.
Readding the accounts, facebook is syncing up but I do not get any pictures, the photos/interest info is there when you view my contact but the picture is not there.
Is anyone having the same issue, there a bug in the recent update?
My Blackberry Curve will no longer let me access the internet or facebook app, it won't let me follow links on my emails and BBM has become very slow, when I try to access the internet or internet based things like facebook or app world it says I need to verify settings.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI recently downlaoded a bunch of ringtones off of the internet, and I also recently added another email account to my tour. I Assigned different alert tones to the 2 email addresses, sms messages, bbm messages, and facebook alerts. I have found that when I get a message, and the assigned alert tone is activated, as soon as that tone turns off anoter different alert is then activated. I cannot figure out why or how to prevent this from happening.
View 6 Replies View RelatedThis is only the second time this has happened since I got the phone a few weeks back.I have all of my messages set to different specific ringtones. My SMS to one, my MMS to one, my email to one etc. So tonight I rcvd an email and instead of playing the tone it always plays that it is set for (one of the generic preloaded notifier tones)... it played my SMS tone (which is an actual song tone) to alert me to my email.
And NO I didnt recieve a new SMS at the same time. That folder is empty and the only red star alert was on my email envelope. Like I said this is very, very few and far between but why would this happen??I went over every one of my sound/alert settings and they are all the way they should be set for my liking.
This is a company iPhone. It stated passcode is expired; I changed it. Now new passcode comes up invalid and locks phone for longer and longer periods.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI was uploading pictures to facebook using the facebook app, and my photos froze, so I didn't know how to cancel them so I turned off my phone. After that I turned it back on and went to upload the pictures again and I seen Iron Man 2 pictures there, so I went to my galley to check it out and they were there. Five pictures I think, I can't remember I deleted them, they were pretty small. Anyone else have this or an idea of what happened? They weren't on there before I turned my phone off?
View 2 Replies View RelatedA hard reset (remove the battery while the BB is on) seems to have worked. I say seemed since it has been reported on this board that it may return when the "service books" are updated...I'm new to BBs. I just purchased it today and against my better judgment installed FAcebook (FB). After getting a deluge of mindless drivel pushed to my new BB I decided FB was not coming near my BB again. So I found the icon - menu - delete. I restart the BB as instructed and to my surprise the icon is still there.I tried to move the icon into a folder but I don't know how to move it because the menu button does nothing when I select the icon and press menu.
And there are some FB messages too. I deleted the FB messages - when I check my messages it reports I have no messages in FB ... BUT there is a little FB icon at the top of the screen showing one message. This one message seems to be relic but I have no idea how to reset or delete it.I also tried the BB desktop software. It shows that it is uninstalled. There appears to be no way of deleting icon, moving the icon, or deleting the FB message indicator either.
My Curve 9380 is emitting a noise like if it's the processer that's continually running even after switching it off. I've Rebooted it and the noise is gone now. Any Idea what might cause this to happen?
Lately I can hear a clicking noise while talking to someone.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI am having some problems with the Xperia Z2 bluetooth speaker pairing.I have successfully connected it to my bluetooth handsfree device in my car.Ive also tested it on one speaker. But when I try to connect it to Philips Fidelio E5 I only get static noise. Can it be the APTX? Is there a way to turn that off?The Philips Fidelio works perfect with many other devices. (tested 3 different devices successfully) Including Xperia Z tablet.Â
View 2 Replies View RelatedI bought my Z2 in September and after 3 weeks the right earbud of my noise cancelling headset provided with the phone stopped working 100% of the time. By moving the jack connection it would come and go. This did NOT happen with my third party earphones and when trying in the Three store I bought the device in, my suspect noise cancelling phones worked with the Z2 on display OK.
My phone was sent in first time in end of Sept/start of Oct and after I got it back the issue remained and the service log showed only a flashing of the software happened.
I then contacted Sony Xperia support again to complain and was told all I could do was return the phone AGAIN to check the QA process used.
This happened and I returned the phone again. I received the phone back today and the issue still persists! Again no hardware changes made.
When I plug in my noise cancelling earphones my tablet thinks a mic has been plugged in and earphones don't work.? I've been thru sound settings and can find nothing..

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I turn my HTC one speaker up full and either play a game or listen to music, I get a crackling noise coming from the top speaker..
Granted, I will not be listening to music this loud normally, but I want to be sure that my phone is defect free, especially if I would like to sell it in the future.
