We have recently purchased the new I-pad, we have tried to sync our 2, 3gs phones w/ I-pad. Some Music shows up transparent in I-tunes and won't access. What must be done to access music?

I have purchased these 2 songs on my iPhone and now i want to put them into my library on my PC. But these 2 songs, which I have purchased resently, are showing up like this and i am unable to play them. As you can see, the color of the songs are more matt and gray, compared to the black test of the others. And notice the syncing icon on the left (it is not spinning)..? It is like if they are sort of inactive songs in my library..

Also can't renew expired music licenses on the phone after Belle update. WHen i attempt to renew a license i'm required to sign in. it recognises my account logon info but gives the following error: "We've changed - Nokia Music is now Nokia Music. To get a license for your music, you need a Nokia account username and password. Get one for free at music.ovi.com if you don't have one yet."

Most of the time when my iPhone 4s (iOS 5.1) syncs with iTunes (always running the latest version on Win 7) either via USB or WiFi, the songs I didn't purchase from the iTunes store (i.e. ripped) disappear from my iPhone. I have to then uncheck the box to sync music in iTunes and then recheck it so it copies all 2500+ songs back to the iPhone. I probably have to do this 2 times a week and would turn off syncing if I didn't have a need, but I do need it. This happens far more often on USB than WiFi but it's driving me crazy. While working with Apple support to troubleshoot another issue, I completely removed and reinstalled all Apple software and reset content and settings on my iPhone in the past 3-4 months.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI formatted, then put a couple of songs on it to test it out. The phone recognized and played them, so then I added the rest of my music to the memory card. There's about 14 gb on the card now, so it's almost full. The phone also accurately tells me that there's about 14gb of the memory card that's occupied. BUT The music player now only puts a small portion of all those songs into its playlist, I would say it only plays about 2 gb out of the total 14 gb. I also cannot choose which songs get put on the playlist. I am on Telus, NOT Verizon, by the way. Why can't I access ALL my music in the music player?
Is there a maximum to the number of songs in the mp3 playlist that I wasn't aware of? Did I buy the wrong memory card?
I was using msu and p2k commander to transfer music to the phone. I got about 20 songs that are in mp3 format over to the phone when p2k commander disconnected the phone. Now I shut down the phone and turned it back on and now I can no longer access the v cast or my music. I have music on the memory card and phone, but it will not let me play any of them. So here is what I have tried to do to correct the problem. I did a reset and a master clear and that did not help. I tried to reformat the memory card #3457* and that did not do anything just display the numbers that I just showed you. Any help or point it the right directions would really help out. I am about to do a flash and a reinstall of the Verizon firmware to see if that would help. If I don't need to install that firmware please let me know. I had got 22 MB free in phone memory and 100 MB in memory card. I don't think any mobile game uses that much memory so what might be the reason??
Second thing is while trying to use some 3rd party application/software when I tries to access Application Access> Data Access> Read User Data> then I'm able to access only 2 options out of 4 available. One is 'Ask every time' and another is 'not allowed'. How I can add that particular application for 'always allowed' or 'ask first time only' access.
I currently missing photo and music, not really missing them, If I open ES File Explorer and open .sdcard/DCIM/Camera all my photo are there. They just don't show up in Gallery. I can open them from ES File Explorer fine. Same with Music, I can open /sdcard/Music and all my music is there but when I open the Music App, it reports"You don't have any music in your library." I can open any song from the file explorer.Also I can no longer see any files in storage when I connect my Xoom via USB to my Win7 pc, the internal storage shows up but is empty.

My external 8GB micro sd card shows I have 5.6GB available. However, my usb storage says I've used 12GB and have no free space. View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a problem setting my call barring on the 5310. According to 5310 manual, the default access code for call barring is 12345. The problem is the input field only has 4 spaces for numbers so it fails to activate because I can only enter 1234. BTW, I haven't set any of my own security codes yet. From searching the web I have found people have have this issue with this phone and the access codes. They were given various codes to try, but the matter was not resolved. None of them work. Could someone please tell me what the default access code is for the 5310?
