I cannot access my pictures and Music from the Media folder. I can only see them whem I go to Applications/files/device/user/pictures. How can I change this? I've tried to take battery out, reinstall software.

I currently missing photo and music, not really missing them, If I open ES File Explorer and open .sdcard/DCIM/Camera all my photo are there. They just don't show up in Gallery. I can open them from ES File Explorer fine. Same with Music, I can open /sdcard/Music and all my music is there but when I open the Music App, it reports"You don't have any music in your library." I can open any song from the file explorer.Also I can no longer see any files in storage when I connect my Xoom via USB to my Win7 pc, the internal storage shows up but is empty.

My external 8GB micro sd card shows I have 5.6GB available. However, my usb storage says I've used 12GB and have no free space. I guess the usb storage is the problem (unless there is something else) and I would like to know how I came to fill up the usb storage when I thought I was saving things to my external 8GB sd card.how to rectify the problem and also how to manage it in the future?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have used Blackberry for about 5 years now and upgraged 3-4 times. Each time my Blackberry email has transferred across into the automatice email set up. I upgraded last week again to the new Bold 9900 and this time the email has not come across. It is still there on the blackberry pc page to edit signatures etc., and when I select the option to 'update device' I get the error message 'unable to find device'. I've tried everything, and contacted "Orange" who say they are also unable to access the email as the password is not being recognised?? HELP

On my work blackberry I was able to easily set up both my personal AOL and hotmail accounts but I am not being given the option with my new phone. Basically I can't get to the home screen, I have a password on my phone, soon as I try to unlock it the phone locks up.
I've done a battery pull and removing the SD card and the SIM but no joy.
But if I use the phone to make calls its fine.
Its really weird to say the least.
It could be the password causing it, is there anyway for me to disable the password outside of the phone itself? Such as using desktop manager? Or should I just bite the bullet and update the firmware?

I have both a Yahoo and Gmail account on my device - BB 9900. Within both of these accounts are sub-folders in the inbox however I cannot access them on my phone as I could when using the iphone?? With my gmail account it does list the subfolders however I am unable to access any old emails saved within the folders. With the yahoo account no subfolders are showing in inbox.

* WiFi: What settings do I have to change so that my blackberry does transmit all data via WiFi and not GPRS or 3G? I do not have a data plan and don't want one

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a BMW with a USB connection in the middle armrest. I used to connect my Torch 9800 and then it used to prompt for [mass storage / media sync / charge only]. After choosing "media sync" it worked perfectly fine: I could leave the BB inside the armrest and control everything on my car stereo.
One week ago I started using the Bold 9900 and it doesn't work like that anymore. I am still being prompted to choose one of those 3 options and then enter my password. But after I do so, the "media sync" option doesn't give any result. The car stereo says that there is "no USB device connected" whereas in fact it is.Only option remaining is to choose "mass storage". But that gives me a crappy interface on the car stereo's display. I have to dig deep into the BB or media card's folder structure. With the 9800 and "media sync" I could always just search by artist, title or playlist (like I configured in iTunes).why this is not working on the new BB 9900 and it is on the 1-year old 9800?BTW I tried both saving my music on the memory card and on the device itself.

Also can't renew expired music licenses on the phone after Belle update. WHen i attempt to renew a license i'm required to sign in. it recognises my account logon info but gives the following error: "We've changed - Nokia Music is now Nokia Music. To get a license for your music, you need a Nokia account username and password. Get one for free at music.ovi.com if you don't have one yet."

Vodafone suggested I cleaned the memory (options, security, advanced security, memory cleaning), and then tried to delete my old BBID (the one that worked on my old Bold 9700) and set up a new BBID, but that didn't work either. After looking online others have tried security wipes but many say they haven't worked.
