Lately I am unable to access or view any data on my media folders (picutres, music, videos) yet the weird thing is if my device is connected via the BB device Manager App the media details are there.
I've already tried upgrading to a new software for the Bold 9790. Dont know what else to do, is this an issue with the handset itself and needs to be fixed / replaced?
I have the 4S and e-mail shows up on my phone but no content from the e-mail will display.

Is there a way of Passwording or locking access to the contents of the SD card as i transport things from work on it and do not want it viewed by unauthorised people if it got in to the wrong hands (before anyone says anything no its not dirty pictures lol ). If i could lock the memory card it would make it that bit more secure.

I can only view files that I saved through a computer. for example if I take a picture now, I won't be able to view it but the media icon just say: no pictures.
View 2 Replies View RelatedAny picture I take save of have already had on my phone won't allow me to view it in the media folder. Even the sample pics won't give me any options. If I push down on the trackpad or hit the blackberry (menu) button it just sits there. Music, vids, ringtones, everything else works fine. Tried reformatting the card and repairing it and nuthing happened. I'm going to download the current OS for at&t and see if that works. I'm on a bold 9700 on at&t running 5.0.0.405. The only thing that I think has happened between the last time I was able to view a picture was I told it to do a wirelees update and the firmware update completed successfully. Anybody have any other ideas?

Also, for some reason when I try and watch episodes of Star Wars The Clone Wars, from the official website, I doesn't show anything using the firefox browser or using the apps browser in mobile view. (But, I can play the video, with no problem, when the phone isn't docked.) Go figure.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently installed the OTA Android 6 update.All seems fine, except today I wanted to copy some of my photos off the phone and put them onto my PC. But when I connect the phone to the pc all it shows is the icon of the Nexus 5 but does not show any folders nor files! Any hidden setting somewhere that I have to enable or is there something else I need to do? BTW, I have my phone unlocked (not rooted) when I connected the phone so it is unlocked while connected to the PC via the USB cable.

I have music files (*.mp3, *.wma) as well as picture files (captured through the device itself).What happens is, from time to time I am unable to access the media card content. If I go to music, I can see the entries if I go to any of the menu filters, All Songs/Artists/Albums/Genres .. etc. But when I click on the song itself, the music player opens with a message "This playlist contains no valid songs". Also, during this time, my device rings with the default tunes on a call, even if I have set custom profile ring tones.Similarly, if I go to Media->Pictures, I can see a thumbnail preview of the photos, however on trying to open a file it just presents me with a black screen. The contact picture or the desktop custom wallpaper, however is rendered as expected.If I reboot my device by taking off the battery, things get working again.I am experiencing this issue quite frequently, almost every day. I tried to find out a trend for the behaviour, however could not make any such consistent observations.Does anyone in the forum has faced similar issue? Any inputs would be highly appreciated. This is really being a disturbing trait with my otherwise so cool BB.

I have following three mail accounts configured with my device;
1) Enterprise/ Office Mail ID (Folder Named as Desktop)
2) Yahoo Mail ID (Folder Named as Yahoo)
3) GMail ID (Folder Named as GMail)
Now in the Messages, Yahoo & SMS Folders; I am only able to view the mails from office mail id. The Messages folder which ideally comprise of messages from all the folders shows only the messages of the Desktop. Similarly for the Yahoo Folder. I am even not able to view my SMS in the SMS & MMS Folder.
It has been working fine. Till now my blackberry fail to display anything when i click on the email or sms/mms icon.

View 2 Replies View RelatedWe both have the same unit and service provider. What happened is that I received an email with multiple attachments. The attachments can be seen from MS Outlook 2010 but on my blackberry, the email opens up without any attachments being shown. I had to press the Blackberry button to show more options and select "Get Plain Text" and it will re-render the email and now show the attachments that came with the email. If I had not seen the email on Outlook prior to viewing it on my Blackberry, I would have thought that the email came with no attachment at all.On the otherhand, my colleague experienced the same problem with viewing an email with multiple attachments and he had to select "Get HTML" instead.Any thoughts as to why multiple attachments don't show up and we have to select "Get HTML" or "Get Plain Text" to make it appear?

For example, sometimes I get forwarded chain texts and it won't let me view them, it'll show a random block of text and that's it. And if I try to reply to it, it won't show me my reply, it's only doing this with a few contacts, but it's still extremely annoying.I've tried uninstalling my third party apps and it didn't fix it, is it a setting I have to change or does anyone know anything?

1-I can't send or receive texts from certain contacts (right now it only seems to be from my boyfriend, we're both on At&t).
2-My text threads lock-up. A new text comes in, but I can't actually open the message. I can open all the previous messages, but any message at the top won't open.

I upgraded last week again to the new Bold 9900 and this time the email has not come across. It is still there on the blackberry pc page to edit signatures etc., and when I select the option to 'update device' I get the error message 'unable to find device'. I've tried everything, and contacted "Orange" who say they are also unable to access the email as the password is not being recognised?? HELP
