View 1 Replies View Relatedopying contacts from a Bold 9810 to another 9810.Using the BB Desktop Software I did a full backup of the device (which contained 400+ contacts), then did a full restore on a new 9810, but only 200 contacts were copied over.Next I tried to do a selective restore, but although the 400+ contacts were in the file, it was grayed out and could not be selected. How can I get all the contacts into the new 9810. (Side note: I was able to restore the 400+ contacts to a BB Bold).

I recently installed the OTA Android 6 update.All seems fine, except today I wanted to copy some of my photos off the phone and put them onto my PC. But when I connect the phone to the pc all it shows is the icon of the Nexus 5 but does not show any folders nor files! Any hidden setting somewhere that I have to enable or is there something else I need to do? BTW, I have my phone unlocked (not rooted) when I connected the phone so it is unlocked while connected to the PC via the USB cable.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI keep getting the following message:"The network you are connected to appears to be a hotspot.You may be required to consent to legal terms and/or set up an account to get internet access. Hotspot operators may charge service fees for internet access". However, its a free network that my other devices, such as my playbook connect to without problems. When I click "OK" I get another message that says: "This is a Wi-Fi service. Please ensure your device has an active Wi-Fi connection and try again." I click OK, and it takes my to the BB browser, which of course doesn't work.Its like it wants me to give permission to use the network, but I need to use the network to give the approval.
-WiFi is enabled
-Bluetooth is enabled
-Other devices including Playbook currently work on the network
-Repeatedly gives me the first message above, followed by the second message above
Is there a way of Passwording or locking access to the contents of the SD card as i transport things from work on it and do not want it viewed by unauthorised people if it got in to the wrong hands (before anyone says anything no its not dirty pictures lol ). If i could lock the memory card it would make it that bit more secure.

There are some applications around that provide that functionality but they only allow you to edit emails without attachments. I don't understand why this functionality isn't built in like in android devices or iPhone.Is there any application that provides such functionality for both emails with attachments and without attachments? All is well except when i connect to PC via USB cable and select 'Mass Storage' I get the message 'Memory Store Unavailable' on my phone and cannot access the contents of my memory card. I have the latest firmware on the phone. I can access the card through nokia PC Suite but that's a pain and I never had this problem before with my old E72.I'm running XP - if I go to my computer and double click 'Removable Disc (E' I just get the 'please insert disc into drive E' message.

I am concerned that this is reloading the device and I could lose all my content. I have tried to switch off - unable to and when I remove and replace the battery it still resumes. There is a Reset button below that and when I press it, it just tries to restart my blackberry. It will load to a certain point and then come back to this Error message. I went to the website it suggests and it tells me to go onto my Blackberry Desktop Manager and reload my software. I tried to do this, but my Desktop Manager and my smart phone will not connect and so I can't reload my software.
