I have a BMW with a USB connection in the middle armrest. I used to connect my Torch 9800 and then it used to prompt for [mass storage / media sync / charge only]. After choosing "media sync" it worked perfectly fine: I could leave the BB inside the armrest and control everything on my car stereo.
One week ago I started using the Bold 9900 and it doesn't work like that anymore. I am still being prompted to choose one of those 3 options and then enter my password. But after I do so, the "media sync" option doesn't give any result. The car stereo says that there is "no USB device connected" whereas in fact it is.Only option remaining is to choose "mass storage". But that gives me a crappy interface on the car stereo's display. I have to dig deep into the BB or media card's folder structure. With the 9800 and "media sync" I could always just search by artist, title or playlist (like I configured in iTunes).why this is not working on the new BB 9900 and it is on the 1-year old 9800?BTW I tried both saving my music on the memory card and on the device itself.
My bold 9900 doesnt play music through the headphones anymore, it just blasts it out. i have tried rebooting it and tried several pairs of headphones. when i plug them in, the icon flashes between the headset icon and the normal icon. i have also tried putting them in slowly and holding them in, but none of these work.

I can't believe that my phone is less than 2 months old and it already quit working.... I do not have it on mute, I tried plugging the ear jacks in and out. I have not dropped it, no moisture, and etc

While playing music on my BB, every now and then the sound cuts out while the song continues to play. Increasing or decreasing the volume has no effect. I always have to stop/pause the song and then press play again.
I have the xperia mini 10 pro, i have tried everthing thats been suggested and downloaded media go but no matter wot music i put on my phone it comes up saying 'file format not supported' what does thus mean and wot file format is needed.
Trying to get moto cast to work I can see pictures, videos and music...It will not play music files just starts like it would then get the constant blue circle that just goes around and around and song never comes on.

I have a new HTC one M8 and a 64gb sd card. Last week my phone deleted an album that was playing fine. Put the songs back on the phone, played for a couple of days and now says that won't play - "unable to play this type of audio file".
I can see the mp3 and flac files when I connect my RAZR to my laptop, but the device itself can't see/play the music. My Lumia had to be sent away for a replacement motherboard and now is mostly working much better than prior to its death! However, I have some music I bought from the Microsoft store which now can't play. It states I should check my xbox music subscription but I don't have one and have never needed one. I bought the album and downloaded it, I'm not streaming from xbox music.

I have synced my blackberry bold bluetooth with my honda and I can seamlessly accept/receive calls. I am yet to figure out on how to play music using my phone. When I play music on my phone, the sound comes from phone speakers and not from car stereo. I guess since its bluetooth connected, it should automatically play music through car stereo when I play it on my blackberry.
I've connected my bold 9900 to pc and copy paste some music. Now I done see all my media that was on my phone that include all my stuff that was on my memory card.
Been looking again at upgrading my 8520. I use it a lot for pictures, BBM, and using Vlingo a bit too now. But also for music, specially when in bed. I don't see any track change buttons on the device. If you are listening to music, specially at night, how do you quickly change track? I can do it without even looking at the phone on mine. How do you do it on the 9900?
While I've seen the release of the software online, my software update shows the message: "your blackberry is up to date" while my software version is 7.0.0 bundle 1346. I have sent the device to the dealer, tried online solutions and couldn't do it. The bizarre thing is that others having the same device are able to update to 7.1 while I can't.

I received a Bold 9900 handset via RIM EPP program. It came with installed software version 7.0 Bundle 2395(v. 7.0.0.579, Platform 5.0.0.735). I am having trouble with using Appworld and among other things sudden resets to handset. Have tried couple of time to upgrade the handset to 7.1 software using both desktop manager as well as OTA mode, it always tells me you have latest build installed. if there is a way to update this handset as it is not working very well for me at present.
The BlackBerry Bold 9900 is BlackBerry's best smartphone but it has no Skype. There is Skype for Verizon phones but it doesn't work on the bold 9900.Will Skype come out for 9900? Is There another way to download Skype?

It lights up the key pad and the alarm clock will go off but nothing at all will come up on the screen not a flicker how do I get this fixed or how much will it cost to fix?
My battery was going on my phone so I went and got the charger and on my return my phone had died. I plugged this in and gave it the 5 mins to charge up a bit. However when this had loaded and turned on - my screen was locked. I clicked the side button to unlock this which asked me to type my password in! It wont allow me to typeit in .... its like my phone doesnt pick up the buttons I am pressing. After turning this on and off several times whilst also taking the sim card out etc etc it still wont allow me to do get in my phone.
