Is the only way to play music from my memory card or do I have to upload it to OneDrive and play from there? Maybe I'm not quite understanding Groove music?
I'm getting my new device next week after making the plunge away from the iPhone 5. Ive got loads of music from iTunes and im thinking of getting a micro sd card to copy my music on there to play. is this possible to do and how would i get the music on there for me to play from?

I have an LG G4 with an installed SD card. I have copied music to the SD card from my computer, but I cannot find an app that will recognize/find the music files on the SD card. If I go to the files from File Manager, I can play them, but I want to use an app so that I can play the songs randomly. I've been able to do this on all of my phones in the past. Why can't I do it on the LG G4?
I'm having trouble working out how to play music from my SD card with Walkman. I can play one song at a time when i find it in File Commander but i was wonderinghow i can put my music on the Walkman app so i can search for different songs easier.
How can I save Google play music to my sd card? I tried it before and when I went to the android folder under SD card, it didn't have the song title. Just numbers. I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 and a MacBook Pro.
I have a problem with the sd card on my Xoom wifi with Android 4.0.4. I have my music collection on an sd card which is loaded in my Xoom. Initially the music plays fine in the Google Play Music App, but after using the tablet for a day or two the music will no longer play. I get a message that the music cannot be played. This message then appears when attempting to play any music on the sd card.
I can temporarily fix the problem by erasing the Media Storage and Google Play Music data or resetting the tablet as suggested by gmanapps, but the problem repeats itself. I also tried syncing/not syncing with Google Music, disabling the Google Play Music app and using an alternate player, and formatting the sd card.
In general I have been happy with my Xoom, but this issue really concerns me. Does this point to a larger problem of stability in the Android file structure?
I have 1GB of music on the memory card and I can listen to the songs individually on my N8, but I don't know how to make the Music Player play all songs, the one after the other.
For some reason my text didn't save when I first posted this, so I'll try again:
My issue is that Google Play Music seems to save all cached music to the internal memory of the phone, and not the external SD card. Android can see this external SD card fine, and in fact saves any photos to it, so there is an issue with Google Play Music's visitbility of the SD card.
with my HTC Desire S, Google Play Music cached to the external SD card no problem.
I can see the mp3 and flac files when I connect my RAZR to my laptop, but the device itself can't see/play the music. Not sure what is going on here. why I can't access the music on my SD card that was fine on my Droid4? Seems odd that my music folder is empty (when I browse to it using files/astro.)
I have synced my blackberry bold bluetooth with my honda and I can seamlessly accept/receive calls. I am yet to figure out on how to play music using my phone. When I play music on my phone, the sound comes from phone speakers and not from car stereo. I guess since its bluetooth connected, it should automatically play music through car stereo when I play it on my blackberry.
I have a BMW with a USB connection in the middle armrest. I used to connect my Torch 9800 and then it used to prompt for [mass storage / media sync / charge only]. After choosing "media sync" it worked perfectly fine: I could leave the BB inside the armrest and control everything on my car stereo.
One week ago I started using the Bold 9900 and it doesn't work like that anymore. I am still being prompted to choose one of those 3 options and then enter my password. But after I do so, the "media sync" option doesn't give any result. The car stereo says that there is "no USB device connected" whereas in fact it is.Only option remaining is to choose "mass storage". But that gives me a crappy interface on the car stereo's display. I have to dig deep into the BB or media card's folder structure. With the 9800 and "media sync" I could always just search by artist, title or playlist (like I configured in iTunes).why this is not working on the new BB 9900 and it is on the 1-year old 9800?BTW I tried both saving my music on the memory card and on the device itself.
I bought a Verizon Bold 9650 in June when they first came out. About 3 weeks after I received my blackberry, I started having some alarm issues. The issues are:
1) The alarm goes off, but no sound nor vibration is produced (it only shows the Snooze/Dismiss Dialogue) 2) Occasionally, it will start sounding off and vibrating 5 minutes after the alarm is scheduled to go off. 3) The same symptoms from #2 apply when i press "snooze".....
I have the latest software and have repeatedly reformatted the memory cards and wiped the device. Another issue I have been having is that when I try to play music it will sometimes say "Cannot play music while alert is active". I can get around this by opening and closing the camera, but I was hoping there is a more permanent fix.
My bold 9900 doesnt play music through the headphones anymore, it just blasts it out. i have tried rebooting it and tried several pairs of headphones. when i plug them in, the icon flashes between the headset icon and the normal icon. i have also tried putting them in slowly and holding them in, but none of these work.

I am usng a BlackberryBold 9700, (AT&T).I imported all the contacts from my previous backup.I copied an mp3 file from my PC to the device memory. Set this mp3 file as the ring tone to all the profiles. I did not set any custom ringtone to any individual contact. But when i recieve a call, both my custom ring tone and the 'Ringer_ClassicPhone' are playing together. Also, a file 'Ringer_ClassicPhone.mp3' is being created automatically a'/Device memory/home/user/ringtones/Ringer_ClassicPhone.mp3'Everytime I recieve a call... i get two hear two sounds... it very annoying...
Searching the internet and some say that it is a format issue and I should buy a converter, it is not a format issue since the same file will play on the network drive but not on the S5 network card.
I have an Mac running the Tiger OSX operating system. Because this is an older OS, the BlackBerry Desktop Manager software will not run on my computer. So far, I refuse to pay $170 to upgrade my computer just to run the Blackberry software. Instead, I manually drag my music files from iTunes onto my phone and then organize them later. My problem is as follows:Only some of the music appears on my phone, while much of it does not. At first, I thought this was a DRM issue with iTunes, but some of my downloaded iTunes music does appear and is playable on my BlackBerry.Regardless of how little music appears in my phone's media folder, my BlackBerry memory reflects that I uploaded the FULL amount of my music! Now, the latest problem. When I connect my phone to my Mac and try to delete all the files, they completely disappear from the phone and I still have a massive amount of occupied memory!Failed resolution attempts include: Restarting BlackBerry, battery pull, searching all over my phone's folders via my Mac looking for lost files (none found).
I have an XpressMusic 5130, When it finishes playing a mp3 file, it will go on playing the next file in my sim cardI want to stop it after playing the first file. How do I achieve it?
i had transferred my music downloaded on my phone to my pc but was unable to play it on the pc then i registered my pc on the ovi player still cant play the files it says that the songs are protected under microsoft VRM & needs small update which i tried to run but it continues to say that cant connect to internet whereas i m connected to the internet.
also the musc i had trasferred on to my pc when i m trying to transfer the files back to my device the pc it does not allow me & says that this content requires licence...
So I finally got my blackberry 9700 and I am in LOVE with it! I bought a 16GB memory card for it, insertet it and transfered a bunch of music. (it took hours).None of the music was transferred to my phone. Then I found out that my sd card wasn't formatted or something, and my phone won't read it. when I try to format it it fails..
Why does all the downloaded music go directly to the f: memory card, when downloading music from Ovi Music Store? It should be saved to the e: mass memory, but there is no settings in the application where to change the save location?. The phone automatically makes a folder named "Ovi Music Downloads" in the memory card. It should be created in the mass memory.
I just notice it today when I'm switching between app. At the same volume Google play music sound louder than the HTC music player without losing sound quality.
