My bold 9900 doesnt play music through the headphones anymore, it just blasts it out. i have tried rebooting it and tried several pairs of headphones. when i plug them in, the icon flashes between the headset icon and the normal icon. i have also tried putting them in slowly and holding them in, but none of these work.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a BMW with a USB connection in the middle armrest. I used to connect my Torch 9800 and then it used to prompt for [mass storage / media sync / charge only]. After choosing "media sync" it worked perfectly fine: I could leave the BB inside the armrest and control everything on my car stereo.
One week ago I started using the Bold 9900 and it doesn't work like that anymore. I am still being prompted to choose one of those 3 options and then enter my password. But after I do so, the "media sync" option doesn't give any result. The car stereo says that there is "no USB device connected" whereas in fact it is.Only option remaining is to choose "mass storage". But that gives me a crappy interface on the car stereo's display. I have to dig deep into the BB or media card's folder structure. With the 9800 and "media sync" I could always just search by artist, title or playlist (like I configured in iTunes).why this is not working on the new BB 9900 and it is on the 1-year old 9800?BTW I tried both saving my music on the memory card and on the device itself.

I didn't use the earphone until now because I wanted to try if it has a mic and to try it if it works when I call someone. When I tried to test it by playing music in my media, only the left speaker was working. My beats earphone works tho, I even plugged the blackberry earphones on my laptop to make sure if its the phone's problem or the earphones' problem and its the same thing. Only the left side was working. Its so new and I didn't even used it till now.

I recently went to whistler to ski, and when i got back to my hotel room i dropped my iphone in the bathtub while i was playing angry birds (stupid, stupid, stupid). It was submerged for about 2 seconds with an otter box case on. I know its not very effect from liquids but it does block the plug in well but not the speakers. It was fine as i instantly dried it out of the case and it worked fine. But later i tried to play music outloud and the volume bar would disappear and it would stop playing music. It thinks it is docked, sometimes even with headphones in. Both liquid indicaters are white and nothing else is wrong.

bought my iphone 4 8g last month from verizon wireless and i try to play music from my phone and it i dont hear anything. i restored it thru itunes and i tried to rest it many time and i also took my phone back to verizon and they couldnt help me/ they said to take it to an apple store but all im getting is the run around.

So, I'm listening to music through my headphones, no problem. I'm listening through the speaker, no problem. But when I want to plug it into the 3.5mm AUX cable in my car, or to connect it to my stereo, nothing happens. Volume is turned up all the way. The music app/spotify/youtube is playing. Other phones and devices play through the same cables.
It's just when connecting to my car or stereo. I'm new to Android...
Music, podcasts, whenever I try to play anything in the music app, the timer stays at 0:00 when I press play. Any other part of the app acts like it's playing something, but it isn't. Other apps work (Video). It's just the one app, but It won't let me delete or reinstall it.

When I leave my phone to play music, either connected to an auxiliary cable to my car, or just via headphones, and basically the music doesn't play properly. On my phone, the music still goes on, but there's no output sound. The only way i've been able to fix it temporarily is to unplug the aux/headphone and pause the song, then replug and replay.

I have an LG G4 with a 128GB microSD. I prefer to store all my music locally, and have about 100 gb of albums on the microSD. If I open Google Play Music and select "downloaded only," I can see and play all albums and songs stored locally. However, all my playlists, which show and play fine when streaming, disappear. Instead, my 30+ playlists (same as on iTunes) are replaced by 3-5 odd, random playlists that I never consciously created.
Since my playlists all reference music that is locally stored, why wouldn't they work the same for "downloaded only" as they do when streaming? I'm going to be moving to a place with horrible and expensive internet, so I need to figure out how to use pre-created playlists for locally stored music.
I have a Blackberry Bold 9900. The phone worked for about 3 months and then it just died. It won't start up or charge. I went to T-Mobile Netherlands for repair. They said they could sent it for repair at my own cost. This should be warrenty right?

First try on batter pull, the BB loading screen flashes but the loading bar only reaches 50%, and stays that way. I removed the battery two more times and nothing has changed. My phone is only 3 mos old and is running on OS 7, got at least 2gbs memory free.

I installed the desktop software but it doesn't find it either. View 1 Replies View RelatedGetting really angry with this phone now, 2nd or 3rd day without it turning on, what happened was it was running out of battery and I plugged it in thinking it was charging, not realising i've not actually turnt the socket on (typical manic mum moment) come back to it and it wasn't wokring, so now I decided to leave it over night on charge, nope... so went and brought a new charger thinking it might be a charger issue. still to no avail. Now its randomly varying between red led flashing with long pauses, sometimes it would start loading with the blackberry screen and loading bar then restart itself back to black screen and red led instead on going on to the main screen, other times its coming up with empty battery and red line through it... i've tried installing the blackberry desktop software to get it working that way, removed battery etc, held down the end call button, all the usual suspect moves.. and still nothing. I really need this phone to be working i've all my numbers, sons photos etc on there, really dont want to do a whole system reset..

Our mobile signal is extremely limited since we're out in the country so wifi is essential here.On my 9700, wifi worked perfectly with all applications but that doesn't appear to be the case with the bold 9900. Several apps are extremely slow or don't work at all. I think the reason for this is the 9900 isn't using wifi for some apps. I believe some apps are using wifi such as the browser and facebook but app world, google maps, scoremobile, whatsapp and tunein radio to name a few don't appear to be using wifi at all.

It also doesnt respond to Desktop Software Manager.
I tried a couple of things from different forums, but with no joy. I read this is a well know issue to RIM,
Like I wrote when i open music player, and choose shuffle play it keeps to play random music.
But when i play music in mini music player (xpress buttons) shuffle works.
yesterday my phone switches off automatically at battery level 15, and today at battery level 25 the phone switches off again... Then at the moment I plug my charger cable into my phone (at battery level 15) it reboots and after the reboot the touchscreen no longer works. Then I upgraded Whatsapp and rebooted my phone again to see if it is fixed, but it still isn't the touchscreen simply doesn't work... It doesn't respond when I press on screen icon or scroll or whatever I do.
