Getting really angry with this phone now, 2nd or 3rd day without it turning on, what happened was it was running out of battery and I plugged it in thinking it was charging, not realising i've not actually turnt the socket on (typical manic mum moment) come back to it and it wasn't wokring, so now I decided to leave it over night on charge, nope... so went and brought a new charger thinking it might be a charger issue. still to no avail. Now its randomly varying between red led flashing with long pauses, sometimes it would start loading with the blackberry screen and loading bar then restart itself back to black screen and red led instead on going on to the main screen, other times its coming up with empty battery and red line through it... i've tried installing the blackberry desktop software to get it working that way, removed battery etc, held down the end call button, all the usual suspect moves.. and still nothing. I really need this phone to be working i've all my numbers, sons photos etc on there, really dont want to do a whole system reset..
So my phones led won't stop blinking even though I don't have any new messages or anything.. It jst blinks till u don't reboot it. I have already reinstalled my os twice then also this problem is there what to do?
The red light is keep on blinking ... And I am not able to start the phone ..... When I put my phone charging the red light appears and keep on blinking .... And it blinks when I remove the battery ..... I tooth my battery might be dead so I charge it from external source and put the battery back wide almost full power ....but its not working .
I left my phone charging last night, and when I woke up I just saw the red LED blinking, but it doesn't turn on. THE DISPLAY DOESN'T TURN ON EITHER, so it's not the problem in which the phone reboots over and over. The LED just blinks and then a long blink and then a pause. My computer won't recognize my cellphone. I tried batter pull but it didn't work.
I baught my blackberry Bold 9900 this year (March 2012). I've been using it since then but recently it started developing problems like freezing and all. Last night the battery was around 30% (Enough to last couple of hours) the phone just freezed and won't turn on. It keeps flashing red light 3 times every 3 seconds.
I don't own one but am scouting out the BBB9900. I saw a uTube video and the phone had a red light blinking on top right hand side of phone. Blinking lights bother me on a device I need to work with. When is it blinking, How long, and when does it not.
Does the BBB9900 have an external antenna port so I can boost the reception ?
Have had 9900 for nearly a week. Every time I switch off or use the auto off I cannot switch back on using the power key. I have to pull the battery and it reboots once replaced. The auto on function does not work either. I removed all my extra applications with no success. The battery life is very short. I can only get 12 hours when receiving 4 calls , making 2 calls and receiving 10 emails.
My 6 month old BB Bold 9900 battery was running low- set it to charge and this morning it will not start. Google and tried most of the options- red light flashes whn set to charge- sometimes even a green flashing light. Alarm rings continuously unless I remove battery.what rights do i have- this seems to be such a common problem with this faulty- should be a faulty recall!
I had a Blackberry bold 9900 which suffered an irrecoverable crash in December last year. Orange sent me a replacement. Last night, I went to get my phone and tried switching it on with the button at the top. It didn't come on. The phone would only reboot to 70%. I read on a forum to remove the battery and sim card and reinsert. The phone does not come on at all now. I've tried charging with/without battery, with/without sim card. I've tried everything on the internet. all my contacts are on the phone, I assumed this would be safe as it was supposed to do a regular back up. Is there a fix for the phone, if not, how do I access these backups that the phone was doing?
I bought a Verizon Bold 9900 and it's been working wonderfully well for the first 4 months. A few days ago I connected my phone to my laptop and did a sync on blackberry desktop manager. I think I might have also updated the software of the phone. But the basic intention was to backup my data (which hung half way). I woke up the next morning and my phone was switched off. Whatever I try, the phone only blinks red every few seconds but does not switch back on. I have tried using my friends bold 9900 battery but that didnt work either (so battery is not the problem). I am afraid this might be a software problem. Now I can't get this phone replaced from Verizon and need a fix because I really can't afford to purchase another phone like it!
I switched to new Bold 9900, need to switch my blackberry email address from old device to new 9900, No problem switching my non blackberry email address. It will not let me reload my previous blackberry address, wants to add a 1, 2, or a 3 to my name. I guess I need to ell the Blackberry server my new device.
Old device: Torch 9810. New device: Bold 9900. Desktop: 18.104.22.168
Following the transfer to the new device, it freezes on a screen with a list of apps. Clicking on an app triggers an error message. Cannot go to home screen or do any other actions. Phone is completely frozen in this mode. Assumed defective handset.
Retailer, The Source was very cooperative and exchanged the handset. Ran device switch on the new handset and got exactly the same result. Frozen on a screeen with list of apps. In both cases, removing the battery and restarting did not resolve.
I have used the Device Switch process before without problems. Has onyone experienced this with a Bold 9900? How can I get the handset back to the 'out of the box' configuration?
I recently bought a blackberry bold 9900 and the battery was very low so the next thing I noticed is that it switched off and when I tried to charge it it started to reboot but then it reached half way and stopped right there. Later I tired to remove the battery a reinsert it and then put it on the charger but no red light appeared and the phone would not charge or switch on at all...
i've blackberry bold 9000 phone. last night i was watching videos on Internet using wifi connection. all of sudden it got stuck and i got white screen. it was around 1:03 am. i was too sleepy so didn't bother to restart the phone and just kept it aside. around at 4 am i got up and found that my bb is dead. i immediately removed battery and tried switching it on. but no luck.then i connected it to my pc using usb for charge( as i don't have wall charger).the red light glows and stays constant whenever its connected(even after i removing battery) to usb. but it don't switch on. even i have already charged (i.e.. kept it connected to my usb) for 4 to 5 hrs. but no luck.
Ever since I upgraded to os6, when I am at home and on my wifi, if I leave the house and go somewhere, it obviously drops wifi coverage, but it doesn't "switch" back to mobile network. It shows full 3G coverage, but whenever I try to go to a webpage it says "cannot connect". Then I have to disable the mobile network, re-enable it, then my internet works again.
So of course there's switch mode from work and "play". I have this issue where when I switch from one the theme changes and if I switch back the theme doesn't change. I thought this would be fix, but I guess I was the only one with this issue. Just updated to .54. I'm of course not going to do anything about it I'll just work with it. Seeing that nothing else is wrong with my phone but that. Which is GOOD. Anyway wanted to see if and one else has this issue. I've had this issue since .52 didn't have it before that.My N8 as current Green running Xeon^4 3.2.1My E72 as backup 1 WhiteMy E63 as backup 2 BLUE (Where's my Icon...?) and..[URL] with the popup notes Nokia sheesh I don't need help from you :/I run Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit/Ubuntu 11.10 64bit on my HP Dv6 1030us (DiViUs)Windows 7 64 bit Pro on my Desktop (Giniro)Green Nokia N8 Current Phone running Xeon^4 3.2.1
I have a Blackberry Bold 9900. The phone worked for about 3 months and then it just died. It won't start up or charge. I went to T-Mobile Netherlands for repair. They said they could sent it for repair at my own cost. This should be warrenty right?
My phone was working fine and then earlier today it turned off on its own, and it wouldnt turn back on with the power button. First try on batter pull, the BB loading screen flashes but the loading bar only reaches 50%, and stays that way. I removed the battery two more times and nothing has changed. My phone is only 3 mos old and is running on OS 7, got at least 2gbs memory free.
I just bought a blackberry bold 9900 3 days ago. When I tried to connect it to my PC with the USB cable, it doesn't recognize it, but it charges it anyway. I installed the desktop software but it doesn't find it either. I tried everything and I think the problem is in the phone since I tried to connect it to 2 different computers and it doesn't work on both.
I am having N95, bought mid last yr. Recently the lcd screens keep blinking and will switch on and off on its own. Of course I need to send to Nokia srv ctr but I bought in Malaysia and now I work in S'pore. So can I only do it once I go back to KL.
I've putted my bb on charge at night and when I woke up I couldn't turn on my phone... but the red led light on the right top corner were still on..I tried to take of the battery 10 sec and put it back in, no success then I connected the phone without the battery and tried to turn it on, a battery icon appeared with an X on it,but still no success.I tried to press 3 times on the button wich turn on the phone, (recommended by my technical support provider to make a reset), it didn't worked either.I went on internet to try to find something to do, there are a lot of persons who has the same problem, but nobody seems to know how to get raid of it...
I have BB 9900 bold. My operator is Turkcell from Turkey. My BB device is unlock by unknown reason. I using same operator and I know my devices supported my sim. I try to wipe , update version and reset factory but still my unlock screen doesn't t come for code entry.
I did update my Bold 9900 to OS 7.1. The blue led is always on even when Bluetooth is off. No more backlight on the keyboard. No more stereo and microphone on the headsetFor now is what I found and I am wondering if I will get more problems or not. how to re-install the OS?
My blackberry doesnt start up, the red light just comes and goes I don't know what to do ive tried taking out the battery and charging it without the battery then putting it in but nothing seems to work?
Just switched from a bold 9700 to bold 9900. Our mobile signal is extremely limited since we're out in the country so wifi is essential here.On my 9700, wifi worked perfectly with all applications but that doesn't appear to be the case with the bold 9900. Several apps are extremely slow or don't work at all. I think the reason for this is the 9900 isn't using wifi for some apps. I believe some apps are using wifi such as the browser and facebook but app world, google maps, scoremobile, whatsapp and tunein radio to name a few don't appear to be using wifi at all.
yesterday my phone switches off automatically at battery level 15, and today at battery level 25 the phone switches off again... Then at the moment I plug my charger cable into my phone (at battery level 15) it reboots and after the reboot the touchscreen no longer works. Then I upgraded Whatsapp and rebooted my phone again to see if it is fixed, but it still isn't the touchscreen simply doesn't work... It doesn't respond when I press on screen icon or scroll or whatever I do.
My bold 9900 doesnt play music through the headphones anymore, it just blasts it out. i have tried rebooting it and tried several pairs of headphones. when i plug them in, the icon flashes between the headset icon and the normal icon. i have also tried putting them in slowly and holding them in, but none of these work.
