Having issues playing music on their Droid Turbo today? I am unable to play anything. When I click on songs, nothing happens. Just curious if it is just me, or if others are having the same problems.

View 3 Replies View RelatedOn my Razr M most of my music was Windows Media format on an sd card and Google Play Music played it with no problems. Well today I put my music on my Turbo but now Google Play won't even recognize any music that's not mp3. Why did it play fine on the old phone? And is there any way to get it to play on the Turbo or do I have to reformat all my music or get another music player?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a Samsung s4 active and all of a sudden the sound stopped working on my phone. Someone suggested a factory reset so I done that and it made my phone worse (froze all the time and took ages to start up) then someone suggested to wipe the cache partition? So I done that and it worked for less than 20 mins and went back to the same issue. Sometimes the start up sound works but barely ever. Can't even hear sound on phone calls.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAs I'm listening to music, during the song I'm listening to, another song will start playing, cutting off the original song that was playing. The song that cuts in always cuts in somewhere which isn't the beginning for that song. Then, after anywhere from a few seconds to a minute or so, the original song goes back to playing where it had been interrupted from.For example:
(Song 1 starts in playing as I'd expect, from the start, goes along for a minute or two)
(Song 2 now kicks in, (which stops Song 1), somewhere in the middle of the song, then plays for a random amount of time)
(Song 1 now resumes (and Song 2 stops) at the place it was cut off by Song 2)
I've got a 32GB SD card, loaded with about 15gb of music from my libary. I have tried different music players, such as the stock music player, google music, PowerAmp and MixZing. Problem happens with all of them. I can get about three or four songs into a listening session before this happens. Doesn't matter if I'm listening to all songs randomly shuffled, or an album in order.All the songs that have issues with playback on the phone playback fine on my laptop, whether I use iTunes, Google Music, or doubletwist.
I have a droid turbo and it won't let me make my own music my ringtone. I've put music in the "ringtones" folder and it wont show up on my phone. I've had music in the folder before and had my own ringtones but when I tried to add more of my music to the folder or completely switch out the songs it didn't show up on my phone.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I try to add songs to the playlist, the phones says they add but they don't add in the stock music player. I see them pop up in Google Play though. I have tried deleting the playlists several times and the issue keeps showing up. I would like to use the stock player because the lyrics come up and I can change songs in the lock screen.

View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen my turbo is paired to a device and either streaming or just playing music or video it becomes extremely laggy. To the point where it freezes and will not work. Often times this happens while simultaneously charging the phone but its not exclusive to that criteria. It's done it while off charger as well. Is this a heat issue? Too many things going on at once?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a droid turbo. When i throw my music into my music folder that appears after plugging my phone into the computer, i cant find it on my phone. I will either put MP3s directly into the "music" folder, or i will create another folder within the music player, name it after the band or album, and then put the mp3s into that newly created folder. Then upon rebooting my phone, the music doesn't appear in the music player application. Though if i do put music into my "downloads" folder i am able to find it, though with this method i am unable to organize the music at all.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo my turbo is set up nice, but when I decided to add in my google play music account, after entering my email it says it cant communicate with google servers. I tried removing my google account and readding to the phone, but that didnt work either. 2 step verification is not turned on with my account as well.
Apparently all I had to do was click on my email that was on the main screen. Telling it to add an existing probably confused it? But anyways, now Im curious because my google music settings show NO authorized devices. Is my phone not authorized anymore? My old phone was on there, but I deleted it from the list, now no devices are there....I mean, Im listening to music with it, and I can buy songs, so Im confused. Or is it a moot point because I only use a STANDARD account?
I can't hear video anymore, but I know the speaker still works. I've already done a FDR, and checked all the volume settings.....

View 4 Replies View RelatedSince I got the Motorola Droid Turbo I have not been able to send out mass text. my last droid phone I could click on people which then opened my contact list, there was boxes next to each contact for me to check multiple people. On the Droid Turbo, when I need to send out a text with multiple people there is no way I see to get to my contacts and click on multiple people. I send out a mass text every week and need to get this quirk fixed. I have also tried a few texting apps. but when I send out the mass text a message box pops up that says "SMS is sending a large amount of... do you want to allow? I click allow, but the box will continue to pop up over and over, but does not actually send out all of the texts. I only send 20 text at a time, so I'm not sure why it is not working as far as the texting app goes. Mostly I would like to be able to use the regular texting app that comes with the phone again.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy phone called someone in the middle of the night while I was sleeping. It has made a few other calls during the day without a requests from me. In addition if it hears music it starts sending a 3 bell ring and on screen asks if I will not speak more clearly. At times it talks and says "Speak more clearly." The screen sometimes shows a cloud when interrupting and other times a mic. I think this may be due to a malfunctioning google assist. I think it thinks music is my voice. Sometimes I am taking pictures with it and it hears music causing it to change from the camera mode to ring 3 tones and say speak more clearly. The calling and interruptions are nuisances.

Custom ringtone stop working, music & video won't play, custom alarms do not ring, etc., until after a reboot. Sometimes it will happen a few times a day and sometimes it won't happen for a few days.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Motorola Droid Turbo. I have never locked the phone. I downloaded ANDROID PAY app last night. It required a screen lock to secure credit card. I agreed and set up a pattern screen lock. I got tired of unlocking phone every time. I went to disable the screen lock and I am NOT ABLE to do that. The security settings for NONE and SWIPE have been grayed out and are no longer an option. I have removed ANDROID PAY and still have issue.

I can find and play music tracks but as soon as I hit the "home" key the music pauses. Basically, any time I exit the player, the music stops.. So I can listen to music OR do anything else.. annoying? yes!
If I press the "home" key or exit any other way - The widget on the home screen reverts to "Go to music dashboard" and if I press to un-pause the music, I am taken back to the "My Music" homescreen and have to re-select a song.
fix / workaround / another music player (one with Motocast capability?). Can i re-install "my music" or reset something?
- I am running motocast, but this problem occurs on Motocast and downloaded music. - i have tried turnignoff motocast computers. - This does not happen with podcasts or any other media - just music in my library.
ive got all my music files on mass memory and they seem to play fine but when i go to music player, they dont work. any ideas? shall i format mass memory and start again?
