When I try to add songs to the playlist, the phones says they add but they don't add in the stock music player. I see them pop up in Google Play though. I have tried deleting the playlists several times and the issue keeps showing up. I would like to use the stock player because the lyrics come up and I can change songs in the lock screen.

I just want to add some songs which location I know. searchin for one bl**dy song between 2000 other tittles is just ridiculous. Options provided by SE vivaz pro symbian software are just useless. Its easier to remember name of folder containing 100 songs than to learn by heart 100 tittles with artists names. I got used to listening to one huge set of e.g. house shared on 10 parts but in some way vivaz pro player spreadet them on the begining , midlle and end of ALL bout 2500 songs list. Is it possible to create some software update fixing this ridiculous mistake? maby there already is sth like that?

View 1 Replies View RelatedOk, after fooling with my phone and checking out all the cool new things it can do after the GB update, I have finally found a flaw, at least on my phone. In the past when listening to music, either with the car dock or headphones or hooked to my speakers at work, whenever I paused the stock music player, it would always keep the playlist current and I could pick up where I left off. Even if I just shuffled all songs. Now when I shuffle all and come back to it later or the next day, it either doesn't show any music as queued or will show the song, but when I hit play, it just takes me to the music player home screen. I also have winamp installed and it does not have a problem keeping my songs in the list. I like to use the stock music player because I can pause or FF a song without having to unlock the phone. Nifty feature being able to see the song playing and having those options on the lock screen. Why is my music player losing the song list? On a side note, winamp remembers what I was playing even after a reboot, but it does not show up on the lock screen.

I am trying to play them using the default music player, which I belive is the only player that can show up on the home screen. I can create my own playlist, but it looks like I have to add songs one by one to the playlist, which is a huge pain.
If I use "all songs", then some of the garbage ringtones and mp3s that came with the phone also get included.
So how do I add a large amount of songs to a playlist?
On a side note, the default music player doesn't support OGG files. How do I enable OGG support on default music player?
1. I recently updated my Nokia PC Suite with my phone connected to computer as I wanted to save time. But following the update I noticed the Playlist had disappeared. The problem is that I have thousands of songs and it took me a long time to sort these songs. I don't want to go through it again. I can see the playlists names only (no songs) in computer as they were when I connect my phone to PC Suite but not on the phone.
2. I went to great lenghts to unlock my phone just to get updated software. I am currently on v30 and wanted to update it to v40. But after unlocking my phone I found my phone still does not show updated software.
I have been using Power Amp for years but I can never seem to get the Backup and restore correctly when it come to backing my playlist.Because of data cap and T-Mobile coverage, I don't stream my music.
View 1 Replies View RelatedHow do i delete the playlists that i create in my xperia x10 mini. I can't seem to delete them. I created a few playlists then used the media go app to delete them. But when i disconnected the phone from my computer the playlists were still present. I believe that playlists aren't stored on the sdcard. delete these playlists. And can the SE team give a fix in the mediaGo software so that it is able to display the playlists that aren't there on sdcard and allow me to modify or delete them.

View 6 Replies View RelatedAs I'm listening to music, during the song I'm listening to, another song will start playing, cutting off the original song that was playing. The song that cuts in always cuts in somewhere which isn't the beginning for that song. Then, after anywhere from a few seconds to a minute or so, the original song goes back to playing where it had been interrupted from.For example:
(Song 1 starts in playing as I'd expect, from the start, goes along for a minute or two)
(Song 2 now kicks in, (which stops Song 1), somewhere in the middle of the song, then plays for a random amount of time)
(Song 1 now resumes (and Song 2 stops) at the place it was cut off by Song 2)
I've got a 32GB SD card, loaded with about 15gb of music from my libary. I have tried different music players, such as the stock music player, google music, PowerAmp and MixZing. Problem happens with all of them. I can get about three or four songs into a listening session before this happens. Doesn't matter if I'm listening to all songs randomly shuffled, or an album in order.All the songs that have issues with playback on the phone playback fine on my laptop, whether I use iTunes, Google Music, or doubletwist.
I'll add 2 of the same song to a playlist and don't notice it until it's inconvenient to remove one of the copies(ie driving a car or riding my bike)...is there a way to alphabetize the playlist (or any other way to keep this from happening)?

Its there about a minute after boot. I use Advanced Task Kill to stop it, a minute later or so and its back. I used Optimize Tool Box to view the startup apps and Music is not one of them. View 2 Replies View RelatedIf I have a podcast in my Droid 3, the built-in Music Player plays the podcast file automatically whenever it gets a Bluetooth-stereo connection to my car audio system automatically. I don't like the Music Player because it does not have "Resume Play" feature where I can pause the play, saving the position, and resume play when I restart the Music Player later. My SanDisk Clip+ MP3 Player can do this, but the more expensive Droid 3 with the built-in Music Player does not have this feature.
Plus, if I have another podcast player app, the built-in Music Player seems to take precedence and will even play over the the third-party podcast player app, so you start getting multiple podcasts playing at the same time.
how to disable the Music Player permanently? I of course cannot uninstall it.
I've had this phone for about a week now and being more comfortable with it I'm using more features and have an issue with the music app and widget. It wont play all my music. The app will play each song individually when manually selected but when on the song list is plays one to two songs after in order then jumps to the songs listed under "I" and repeats that segment (the songs that title starts with I) instead of staying in order, it has also done this with "M" once, have tried clearing cashe and data of the app with no change in result. Has anyone else had this problem (P.S. I'ma give up saying I wont by Motorola anymore, had the perfect chance to switch over when I signed the contract for 4G service and... bought Moto, just the brand me and my family have used as long as I can remember)

View 11 Replies View RelatedI have a N97 running firmware v.21.0.045 and about a week or so ago I was forced to do the hard reset because the phone became so unstable. I left my E: drive (the mass storage) intact including all of my songs, videos and pictures I had stored.Everything seems to be okay apart from the Music Player which everytime I use it it starts to search for songs and podcasts continuously. I can stop that and it lists all of my music and can play them but the volume control does not work, either from the telephone or the earpiece supplied.I have tried leaving it searching for hours but nothing changes - it just keeps on searching. Any suggestions as to how I can fix this please or does it mean I have to do another reset of the telephone? It all worked before.

It does the albums but when you try to load the songs it says something like "damaged/corrupted file". Is I surf the file system and choose a mp3 file I can ply it no problem. Any clue? I tried to re-install the belle, but the problem still there. How could I re-install only the Player?
