I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S5, and suddenly nothing shows up on the music player. I don't use an SD card, only internal memory. And I tried bringing up songs individually, but they still don't show up on the music player.

Then much later when I had downloaded some new apps and edited settings, I returned to the music player to see that all my songs had vanished. I still have them on the memory and Poweramp can still find them, but not the stock music player?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a N97 running firmware v.21.0.045 and about a week or so ago I was forced to do the hard reset because the phone became so unstable. I left my E: drive (the mass storage) intact including all of my songs, videos and pictures I had stored.Everything seems to be okay apart from the Music Player which everytime I use it it starts to search for songs and podcasts continuously. I can stop that and it lists all of my music and can play them but the volume control does not work, either from the telephone or the earpiece supplied.I have tried leaving it searching for hours but nothing changes - it just keeps on searching. Any suggestions as to how I can fix this please or does it mean I have to do another reset of the telephone? It all worked before.

It does the albums but when you try to load the songs it says something like "damaged/corrupted file". Is I surf the file system and choose a mp3 file I can ply it no problem. Any clue? I tried to re-install the belle, but the problem still there. How could I re-install only the Player?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm using Nokia 701 with music player version 17.2.17 I've around 700 songs in my memory card. In music player, I see the sorting in the order: (i) Artist & then (ii) Album be specific artist. That's okay.
But when I open the album, I see the songs in any random order. They are not sorted alphabetically.

I have tried deleting the playlists several times and the issue keeps showing up. I would like to use the stock player because the lyrics come up and I can change songs in the lock screen.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI do have a few months old X6, which has worked quite fine so far. Now, surprisingly Music Player gives just "System Error" when trying to use it i.e. trying to play a song from the lists. I can play the songs direct from the X6 file manager, but not by the Music Player.
I've done all the normal stuff, e.g. installed firmware again, hard reset, etc. without any success. Seems to be that the library index, or related has been corrupted. Library updating does not work neither. Any ideas? Does anyone now where to find the library index (or related) file to be deleted? And furthermore to re-build the index again?
Is there any option so that we can sort the songs by Albums. I know we have got a option " Artists and albums". If we use this it will sort with Artists first and below it will show the Album name. I live in India, and here we generally listen to songs by movie/album wise not by artist.... I having nightmare in searching the albums as they are sorted by artists first..... I also use Nokia 5800 XM in that we got seperate option "sort by Album" but it is combined with artists in Nokia Symbian^3 phones.....I love the new music player the way it shows the album arts but the only thing is it removed the sort by Album option..

I can't find them either using ES File Explorer although they always show up in the Google "Play Music" app. I've configured the songs that I downloaded from Google "Play Music" to download to the phone and they show as "Pinned" in the "Play Music" app. Lastly I confirmed that the music is on the phone by playing them with "Play Music" while the phone is is airplane mode. I want the default HTC music player to play these songs since that player is available from the lock screen and blink feed.

Now I am able to sign in and download music from OVI Music Store.But when I am trying to play Downloaded and imported music in my PC through my music tab it is ovi player is trying to Download Microsoft Windows Media DRM. And it is failed to update DRM showing Error message "We are Unable to authorize your PC. Make sure you are connected to the internet and try again. (0xC00D2736)"
How is it possible that I am not connected to internet as I am downloading Music at the same time through OVI player and signed in to OVI music with my unlimited downloadable user id?? View 4 Replies View RelatedStarting today my music player has been randomly stopping during songs. I checked my memory card in another phone to make sure it wasn't the problem, and it wasn't. It also happens on the stock Blackberry Music. It will play for a minute tops, and then stop playing. The music player doesn't close, it's just like if I had pressed pause. Normally pressing the play/pause button at the top of the phone a few times will do the trick, but this is quite annoying. If I wait long enough the music will resume again. I also checked my device memory and it's not low at all, and this will happen as soon as the phone is on with only the mandatory programs running. Has anyone else experienced this or have any ideas what could be causing it? I've done a few battery pulls but I'm still having the same problem.

After about 20 plus songs or so, the playlist starts all over again from the very top.... In some rare occasions, the list even starts auto shuffling itself even though shuffle isn't turned on >.< It's annoying as I have to keep going back to where I last stopped again everytime it does that. Is there any way to fix it??? I've tried turning my phone on and off and soft resetting my phone already but the problem still persists

I just want to add some songs which location I know. searchin for one bl**dy song between 2000 other tittles is just ridiculous. Options provided by SE vivaz pro symbian software are just useless. Its easier to remember name of folder containing 100 songs than to learn by heart 100 tittles with artists names. I got used to listening to one huge set of e.g. house shared on 10 parts but in some way vivaz pro player spreadet them on the begining , midlle and end of ALL bout 2500 songs list. Is it possible to create some software update fixing this ridiculous mistake? maby there already is sth like that?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI recently went through my itunes and deleted all of the songs and readded them to itunes after moving my song file locations. I then plugged in my iphone to sync to my re-done itunes. All of the music synced to the iphone except for when I went to some new playlists many of the songs did not appear in the playlist even though they were in the master list of songs. I have tries turn my iphone off and on and re-syncing the iphone many times. All of the songs are checked on itunes, my iphone is set to sync all checked items and I have my iphone set to sync all playlists on my itunes. Is there any way I can get the rest of the songs to show up in the playlists?
ps. It's an iPhone 4s and is less than a week old. I also have an ipad 2 but I'm afriad to sync pss. Most of my song files aren't from itunes and rather were downloaded onto a different computer as mp3s off of cds and were transffered to my new computer a while ago. They worked on my iPhone and itunes until i recently moved all of my songs to a file within my "music" file (for organization purposes)
