May 8, 2012I try to call and the person receives the call but doesn't hear anything. What's happen in my phone is that after the call the window freezes and to turn it off I need to restart the phone. I am not receiving calls either.

Jun 21, 2012My phone was being slow so I thought if I turned it on and off again it would work alright again..Obviously I was wrong as when I tried to turn it back on nothing happened except come up with the apple logo. Now it's frozen on the apple logo. do I need to take it into an Apple Store for repair?

Jul 15, 2010I have the Torch (9800) OS version: 6.0.0.668.I've had it for just over a year without problems but recently it will freeze to the point where I have to do a battery pull because it won't resolve the issue otherwise. Even then sometimes it doesn't come back on. It will slowly flash red (LED light) and the screen will remain black.It's done this twice where it won't turn back on at all. Eventually it does but the last time it did this, it didn't work for 2 days before coming back on (of it's own accord). I updated the software when it finally came back on as I was told it could be a software issue so I now have the OS version stated at the top of this message as opposed to 6.0.0.600.

Dec 27, 2010I was having probs with phone totally freezing on a call; wouldn't turn off or anything. So it ran out've battery and i did the upgrade software thing from my computer. However, i didn't back up files as phone was new so didn't have anything on it and didn't think was necessary but now non of the phone works.

Oct 24, 2012I purchased two blackberry 9320s within this month and the first week, all was good and the phone worked brilliantly. Now, this phone freezes at least 10 times a day, irrespective of whether I am just playing a game on the phone or accessing something. It is becoming a real pain...had it been just the one phone, I would have said that it was something on the phone but this is happening on both the phones at random times. Is there some software that could resolve this? Is it the phone itself that is the problem? I am not happy with this. The fact that it is less than a month old says something. I don't even download onto the phone and am having these issues. There is not much on the phone at the moment as well.

Oct 26, 2012I have a Blackberry Curve 8530. It has been freezing a lot lately. I will press buttons the scroll button and nothing happens, then a minute later or so, it will sort of wake up and start responding again.The email, Facebook, and internet has always been extemely slow, but I think this is because I have only one bar of service most of the time.
The freezing thing happens in a variety of places - when I'm checking emails, trying to open icons from the home page, want to make a call, or most annoyingly, when I need to adjust the volume. Basically, it is having about a 30 second delay on waking up all the time, even when currently in use.

I can just about navigate through my messages as I can click on things with the trackpad & thank god for keyboard shortcuts ! Aug 25, 2012My BlackBerry 9300 curve is (usually) freezing after the booting progress bar has reached the end. Occasionally, I can get it to connect to my Desktop Software. And very occasionally, after trying to connect, it goes into some unrecognisable text version of its screen. I'm able to scroll about on this and try various things, but I keep getting Java errors. After a number of these I got a message saying "AppError 601" and the phone rebooted. Hasn't shown particular signs of life yet (back to freezing at the end of its boot progress).
I did manage successfully to use the resettofactory command from the MacOS terminal to get it to wipe. However, from the text-only screen, and judging by the documentation as well, it doesn't remove apps. And I'm guessing this is app-related.I've tried booting it in safe mode, which left me with a frozen screen with text in the background and a rectangular logo screen in the foreground (there's also a screenshot in the attachments).Even if none of this rings a bell with any of you, do any of you know how to delete the apps from the command line?

Jan 2, 2012My boyfriend recently got a BB from a friend to replace his broken one. when replacing the simcard the phone wouldn't turn on, not even when connected to a computer. So i tried to update the software however this failed and now the phone will boot to 2/3rds and then freezes. I have tried to wipe the phone and reinstall the OS however this doesnt work either. The program used to wipe does not connect to the phone and it appears I cannot overwrite the OS without wiping it first.
Whilst I'm at it... I have my own old curve which I then gave to my brother when I upgraded. He failed to tell me that he'd dropped it in water and just said the keys were broken so I was unable to dry it out at the time. The phone works but none of the keys or tracking pad do. I have upgraded the OS and even wiped the software and done a total reinstall and still no luck.

For whatever reason it likes to reset itself at random, which at times has happened 4/5 times in the space of an hour! I've wiped the devices memory and its not possible to connect to the computer as for it connect it requires me to put a password in on my BB and since it is frozen it dosent allow me to choose this option.

Sometimes unfreezes after a minute and other times have to either although shift delete or if that doesnt work reseat battery.
