View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had my Curve 8330 since August 2009. The mouse ball stopped working when I move it in the down direction. It works fine going up, left or right, just not down. It did this a few months ago, then miraculously started working again. This time, it started working again for about 20 minutes, and stopped again. I have pulled out the battery and put it back in to do a complete reboot, but to no avail.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI purchased two blackberry 9320s within this month and the first week, all was good and the phone worked brilliantly. Now, this phone freezes at least 10 times a day, irrespective of whether I am just playing a game on the phone or accessing something. It is becoming a real pain...had it been just the one phone, I would have said that it was something on the phone but this is happening on both the phones at random times. Is there some software that could resolve this? Is it the phone itself that is the problem? I am not happy with this. The fact that it is less than a month old says something. I don't even download onto the phone and am having these issues. There is not much on the phone at the moment as well.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Blackberry Curve 8530. It has been freezing a lot lately. I will press buttons the scroll button and nothing happens, then a minute later or so, it will sort of wake up and start responding again. The email, Facebook, and internet has always been extemely slow, but I think this is because I have only one bar of service most of the time.
The freezing thing happens in a variety of places - when I'm checking emails, trying to open icons from the home page, want to make a call, or most annoyingly, when I need to adjust the volume. Basically, it is having about a 30 second delay on waking up all the time, even when currently in use.
My blackberry curve's trackpad keeps freezing up, so I can't do anything with it. I can just about navigate through my messages as I can click on things with the trackpad & thank god for keyboard shortcuts ! I found a post saying that I had to tighten the TX screw or something of the sort but I'm worried I'll do something and then it'll no longer be under guarantee.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo i got a new blackberry curve 9360 for Christmas but recently it has gotten very slow and most of the time when i try to unlock it nothing will happen for a good few minutes and then the phone will unlock like it has frozen. I havent dropped it or anything yet and the only apps i have are the ones that came with it like google and facebook and then the bbm.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Curve 8520 is freezing on start up. What happened was my facebook app froze after I tried to log out so I decided to re-boot the phone and now it freezes 3/4s into the start up. I have tried connecting with my desktop software, it is being recognised but not connecting fully so therefore I can't connect with any of the function ie restore. I have tried to do a safe re-boot but it still sticks at the same point.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy BlackBerry 9300 curve is (usually) freezing after the booting progress bar has reached the end. Occasionally, I can get it to connect to my Desktop Software. And very occasionally, after trying to connect, it goes into some unrecognisable text version of its screen. I'm able to scroll about on this and try various things, but I keep getting Java errors. After a number of these I got a message saying "AppError 601" and the phone rebooted. Hasn't shown particular signs of life yet (back to freezing at the end of its boot progress).
I did manage successfully to use the resettofactory command from the MacOS terminal to get it to wipe. However, from the text-only screen, and judging by the documentation as well, it doesn't remove apps. And I'm guessing this is app-related.I've tried booting it in safe mode, which left me with a frozen screen with text in the background and a rectangular logo screen in the foreground (there's also a screenshot in the attachments).Even if none of this rings a bell with any of you, do any of you know how to delete the apps from the command line?
i have a blackberry curve 9360 and it has started freezing every 5-10mins and its very difficult to switch it back on.
View 3 Replies View RelatedMy boyfriend recently got a BB from a friend to replace his broken one. when replacing the simcard the phone wouldn't turn on, not even when connected to a computer. So i tried to update the software however this failed and now the phone will boot to 2/3rds and then freezes. I have tried to wipe the phone and reinstall the OS however this doesnt work either. The program used to wipe does not connect to the phone and it appears I cannot overwrite the OS without wiping it first.
Whilst I'm at it... I have my own old curve which I then gave to my brother when I upgraded. He failed to tell me that he'd dropped it in water and just said the keys were broken so I was unable to dry it out at the time. The phone works but none of the keys or tracking pad do. I have upgraded the OS and even wiped the software and done a total reinstall and still no luck.
i have a curve 9300 and the stupid trackpad keeps freezing :'( im getting pretty frusterated cuz i cant do anything at all with my phone and its starting to really piss me off.
View 9 Replies View RelatedWell where to start, i've had so many probs with my curve 9300 lately its really getting on my nerves now. View 1 Replies View RelatedMy BB curve 8520 keeps freezing at reboot a the exact same place, the e. Ive taken the battery multiple times and left it to load for up to 45 minutes with no luck. I've wiped the devices memory and its not possible to connect to the computer as for it connect it requires me to put a password in on my BB and since it is frozen it dosent allow me to choose this option.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have 2 month old Blackberry Curve 8520. Trackpad on it is constantly freezing. Have tried the battery pull out solution which worked the first few times. Now it has stopped working completely. It has also started to have blurry images on the screen when you try to switch it on and off.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Blackberry Curve 9300 keeps freezing and then the screen will go white and the LED light will go red, after about 10 - 20 seconds it'll reboot. It does this ATLEAST 5 times a day. Is there anyway to fix this? I've tried "reloading the OS" tried a sytstem wipe and fresh install but no luck.
