I purchased two blackberry 9320s within this month and the first week, all was good and the phone worked brilliantly. Now, this phone freezes at least 10 times a day, irrespective of whether I am just playing a game on the phone or accessing something. It is becoming a real pain...had it been just the one phone, I would have said that it was something on the phone but this is happening on both the phones at random times. Is there some software that could resolve this? Is it the phone itself that is the problem? I am not happy with this. The fact that it is less than a month old says something. I don't even download onto the phone and am having these issues. There is not much on the phone at the moment as well.
I purchased a BlackBerry 9320 last week, and at the start of this week the phone started to unlock itself when ever it wanted, even if it was on the table and not being touched. I restored the phone to its factory defaults and this has made no difference in trying to resolve the problem.
I have recently updated my blackberry curve 9300 and for some reason keeps freezing all the time and it never did that before the update. why it keeps freezing?
My Blackeberry Curve 9300 freezes after doing the reboot it freezes for about 3 minutes and then it just freezes on the big 3 sign and just doesnt work and nothing else happens i tried taking battery out sim out everything it just doesnt work
Why does my mouse keep freezing. I turn off and on and that solves the problem but only on a temporary basis. Updating software doesn`t seem to be helping.
My bb 8520 keeps freezing in example when it is inactive for approximately 30 seconds my phones freezes and i have to hold down any button and then it would then start to work back to normal.
I have a Blackberry Curve 8530. It has been freezing a lot lately. I will press buttons the scroll button and nothing happens, then a minute later or so, it will sort of wake up and start responding again. The email, Facebook, and internet has always been extemely slow, but I think this is because I have only one bar of service most of the time.
The freezing thing happens in a variety of places - when I'm checking emails, trying to open icons from the home page, want to make a call, or most annoyingly, when I need to adjust the volume. Basically, it is having about a 30 second delay on waking up all the time, even when currently in use.
My blackberry curve's trackpad keeps freezing up, so I can't do anything with it. I can just about navigate through my messages as I can click on things with the trackpad & thank god for keyboard shortcuts ! I found a post saying that I had to tighten the TX screw or something of the sort but I'm worried I'll do something and then it'll no longer be under guarantee.
So i got a new blackberry curve 9360 for Christmas but recently it has gotten very slow and most of the time when i try to unlock it nothing will happen for a good few minutes and then the phone will unlock like it has frozen. I havent dropped it or anything yet and the only apps i have are the ones that came with it like google and facebook and then the bbm.
My Curve 8520 is freezing on start up. What happened was my facebook app froze after I tried to log out so I decided to re-boot the phone and now it freezes 3/4s into the start up. I have tried connecting with my desktop software, it is being recognised but not connecting fully so therefore I can't connect with any of the function ie restore. I have tried to do a safe re-boot but it still sticks at the same point.
a few months ago, I had to update my software to fix issues with my browser, it has solved my browser issues but since then my phone keeps freezing. Iv tried wiping the phone but still having problem?
my daughter has a 9300 she only got it at xmas but its starting to play up. Several times a day it completely freezes and she has to remove the battery to reset it, it has also turned itself off a few times even thought it has a full charge.
my blackberry 8520 has been freezing up on me for the past three weeks and i dont know what to do it usually starts back working but not today i am getting messages and calls and i cant view them do i need to flash my phone or throw it away
My BlackBerry 9300 curve is (usually) freezing after the booting progress bar has reached the end. Occasionally, I can get it to connect to my Desktop Software. And very occasionally, after trying to connect, it goes into some unrecognisable text version of its screen. I'm able to scroll about on this and try various things, but I keep getting Java errors. After a number of these I got a message saying "AppError 601" and the phone rebooted. Hasn't shown particular signs of life yet (back to freezing at the end of its boot progress).
I did manage successfully to use the resettofactory command from the MacOS terminal to get it to wipe. However, from the text-only screen, and judging by the documentation as well, it doesn't remove apps. And I'm guessing this is app-related.I've tried booting it in safe mode, which left me with a frozen screen with text in the background and a rectangular logo screen in the foreground (there's also a screenshot in the attachments).Even if none of this rings a bell with any of you, do any of you know how to delete the apps from the command line?
My boyfriend recently got a BB from a friend to replace his broken one. when replacing the simcard the phone wouldn't turn on, not even when connected to a computer. So i tried to update the software however this failed and now the phone will boot to 2/3rds and then freezes. I have tried to wipe the phone and reinstall the OS however this doesnt work either. The program used to wipe does not connect to the phone and it appears I cannot overwrite the OS without wiping it first.
Whilst I'm at it... I have my own old curve which I then gave to my brother when I upgraded. He failed to tell me that he'd dropped it in water and just said the keys were broken so I was unable to dry it out at the time. The phone works but none of the keys or tracking pad do. I have upgraded the OS and even wiped the software and done a total reinstall and still no luck.
i have a curve 9300 and the stupid trackpad keeps freezing :'( im getting pretty frusterated cuz i cant do anything at all with my phone and its starting to really piss me off.
Well where to start, i've had so many probs with my curve 9300 lately its really getting on my nerves now. For whatever reason it likes to reset itself at random, which at times has happened 4/5 times in the space of an hour! Plus whenever im browsing on the internet it'll close the page im on saying its too large to load.
My BB curve 8520 keeps freezing at reboot a the exact same place, the e. Ive taken the battery multiple times and left it to load for up to 45 minutes with no luck. I've wiped the devices memory and its not possible to connect to the computer as for it connect it requires me to put a password in on my BB and since it is frozen it dosent allow me to choose this option.
I have 2 month old Blackberry Curve 8520. Trackpad on it is constantly freezing. Have tried the battery pull out solution which worked the first few times. Now it has stopped working completely. It has also started to have blurry images on the screen when you try to switch it on and off.
My Blackberry Curve 9300 keeps freezing and then the screen will go white and the LED light will go red, after about 10 - 20 seconds it'll reboot. It does this ATLEAST 5 times a day. Is there anyway to fix this? I've tried "reloading the OS" tried a sytstem wipe and fresh install but no luck.
Since updating the device software on my curve 9360 a few weeks ago I am having constant freezing issues (black sqaure with white line). Sometimes unfreezes after a minute and other times have to either although shift delete or if that doesnt work reseat battery. Up until te device software upgrade phone was running great with no issues.Currently : 7.1 bundle 1133 (v7.1.0.336 platform 9.6.0.51)Have tried although l g l g and clearing logs daily.Have tried full restore including creation of new blackberry account synced with phone in case of issue transfer.Doesn't matter whether in emails, whatsapp, bbm or just taking a picture.Current free memory on device: 1360053800 Bytes and all apps up to date.
i have been trying to update my phone but it always sticks on "Smart Card Reader Option 1 of 1" and doesn't do anything after that so i have to always stop it.
Starting of today when i reboot my bb, it freezes halfway on the loaidng bar. I've waited for several minnutes and even tried with different batteries, i've also tried with no sim and i have left the bb to rest with no battery on sim in it at all.
app world pushed out a blackberry upgrade and after I installed it is when I started having this problem.Curve 9330 6.0 bundle 2333 (v6.0.0.524, platform 4.4.0.438)When I type, just stops recognizing anything and no buttons work, just freezes up... sometimes some in/out arrows in very top right corner before it clears out..... happens for 2-5 seconds most of the time (several times an hour) and few times a day upwards of 30-45 seconds each time.As I said, was good until installed appworld blackberry pushed out upgrade.
My trackpad keeps freezing, I have tried: taking the battery out leaving it for a night, turning in off for a day, turning it off and taking the battery out. I give up now, I have tried all sorts and this was a gift for my birthday a month ago, I'm quite disappointed as this was my first blackberry and I don't think I'll be buying another one.
I have a Blackberry 8520. It has just developed a fault and I have no idea what could have caused it so I am hoping someone here will be able to help. The letter 'A' stopped working. The phone keeps going to sleep when the backlight goes out and won't respond to a single key press. To wake it I have to press and hold down any key. This means when I turn the phone off it won't respond to the 'on' button so I have to do a battery pull in order for the phone to boot up itself. Also when I am in a call and the backlight goes off after 2 minutes it wont allow me to hang up unless I wake the phone by holding down the trackpad. The phone seems to be freezing every minute. I have to hold down a key to get it to respond.I have tried the usual to see if it helps but nothing seems to work. (battery pull when phone switched on, wipe handset and updated software).
It just started today when I just click a button to resume it from standby and try to scroll anlong the bottom menu on the screen using the touch pad nothing happens. It doesn't work when I press the menu button either. I'm still recieving messages, though, but I can't get to them, obviously. I've only had my BlackBerry a few weeks and really can't do without a phone coming up to summer and can't afford a new one on such short notice!
